I used this route because it was a long day on the Hill for me and my group leaving us little time to enjoy a full meal. Plenty of seating if you do decided to dine inhouse.

When you go inside the main entrance of the Nat Geo museum, continue straight past the elevators and through the courtyard, you'll arrive at the cafeteria on the other side to the left! They offer a variety of tacos, burgers, sandwiches, soups, salads, and other items! My personal favorite is the falafel burger with sweet potato fries, if they haven't run out. This burger is a thick chickpea patty that is topped with pickled red onions, tzatziki and freshly sliced avocado (not just one slice, there's usually three or four). Places are usually stingy when it comes to avocados, so this makes me so happy! The availability of the fries is hit or miss, since the place closes at 2:00 and I usually don't get there until 1:30. They also have some snacks, drinks, plenty of condiments, and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The cooks and cashiers are all friendly, and the discount that comes with working nearby really comes in handy! I am looking forward to coming back many times and trying some more food out.

I passed on that and choose the grill instead having cheese burgers for my family. It's a clean space and has plenty of seats. A lot of staff seem to frequently eat here. That's a good thing because that must mean they have great consistency with the options they offer. It closes at 2 pm, and is only open on weekdays. So be mindful of that. But it's a convenient way to make sure we are having a clean food option when taking care of hospital business.

It was set up like a mini food court with different stations which had different dishes. I ponied up to the one with the taco and the woman put together an amazing looking "taco". It's like no other taco I've ever had. This thing weighed a lot, and that made the $18+ price tag worth it. It was delicious and definitely knife and fork material. It was a hodge-podge of meat, beans, pickled veggies, and sauces and it was delicious. There was plenty of seating when I was there and some cool views of a water feature outside.
