We replaced 1000 Plus feet of carpet with hardwood, this new baseboards, doors and other trim. The door casements were bought 1/2 " too small this creating sheet rock work and painting. Gave the painters the cans with the paint codes for a local paint store. They went to a big box store and bought the wrong paint color and sheen. All the painting had to be re-done. See the pictures New baseboards!! Look at the pictures. Some rooms they cut out for the power plugs/cable boxes, some rooms they just ran the baseboards right over them. Most of the base joints were butt cut and not 45 degree angles. Many having gaps of over 3/8". The crew said "Kyle said we could caulk that gap". See the pictures I We were told December 1 2020 to go to Florida for five days and come back to a new house. We came back after the sixth day to find all of our clothes, furniture, flat screen TV's outside ( lying flat on their face) during a rain/snow storm. We have a 3"x3"x3" safe, it was sitting outside too. See the pictures. There were 14 sheets of 4x8 foot sheets of plywood laying in the rain to boot. For months I have been planning to have the carpet removed and hardwood flooring installed in my…read moreolder 50's era home. Unfortunately during the job, it was discovered that the 1/2" sub-flooring was damaged (previously or during the job). I chose to have it replaced, and while the contractor did replace it, they chose a thickness (between 1/2" to 3/4") by mistake. This resulted in the obvious "ridge" that can be seen in the pictures below. Now I was in a situation where, I'm facing either living with what feels like a "small rug" buried under my beautiful hardwood flooring OR pull it up and address the sub-floor height difference. You may be asking: how does Jason (BPS Southeast Flooring) fit in? During this hectic situation, I was looking for SOMEONE that I could TRUST to give me solid advice on the situation and my options. Specifically someone OTHER than the contractor who did the original carpet demo / flooring install. Jason delivered exactly the guidance I was looking for and more. He is extremely knowledgeable and serious about his profession (all things flooring including hardwood). He drove a total round trip of 1 hour, and showed up 20 minutes early. There was no sense that he needed to "sell" me on anything in particular, he only was there to give his opinion on the options and he did exactly that. Even his consulting fee was extremely reasonable (so much so that I doubled it in light of the value of the information and guidance I received). While I cannot attest to the actual "install job quality" that can be garnered from BPS Southeast Flooring (I have not hired them to install any flooring as of this review) , I feel VERY confident in continuing to do business with him for all my flooring needs now and in the future. And since I will be continuing this job myself, I will be purchasing any further flooring material from BPS Southeast Flooring in the future.

Not good at all. First of all, the workers showed up drinking at 11 AM. After doing a terrible job…read morein the days prior. Lazy, sloppy, they cut every corner. My floors look like trash. You know, like a drunk man did it. I paid $30,000 for brand new hardwoods; there are gaps dents and deficits all over riddled with filler. They did not install new quarter inch round, after I paid for it and was assured it would all be replaced. They didn't not, instead they left the existing 30 year old yellowed 1/4 round and it looks HORRIBLE. I had to call for someone to come out. Manager showed up and said it looked good other than the obvious old 1/4 round. When I asked about the site worker, they did not know who I was referring to. THE MANAGER DID NOT KNOW WHO THE INTOXICATED PERSON WAS- THAT WAS WORKING IN MY HOME. This is the same man with slurred broken English demanding my house key from day one. When they came to fix it, they were jerks about it and did even worse. WHILE DRINKING. I was not given any instructions on how to care for my new floors. I was not told when they were coming or going or when they were finished, after i asked multiple times and left my number on the counter. To make matters worse, when they finished, I went through the house and noticed they DID NOT seal the floor behind any structure. There is sawdust everywhere all over the walls and windows from refinishing the bottom floor. They DID NOT seal the floor anywhere that required effort, i.e. appliances behind doors, crevices, etc. i'm absolutely disgusted at the fact I just spent 30 grand on this. THERE IS RAW HARDWOOD SITTING UNDERNEATH EVERY APPLIANCE THAT I HAVE. Trust me when I say, do it yourself or live with what you have. My new home is a mess, a construction nightmare and now an expensive undertaking to make it right on my own. I also have pick up all of the debris they threw on my lawn and left. They set up all of the their electric saws in the same outlet and blew several fuses in my house. All while throwing trash/debris over the balcony onto my lawn; in addition to their empty prescription bottles, nails and staples in my driveway. Some is expected. THIS WAS RIDICULOUS. I now have exposed stairs and a balcony with no railing. They removed my banisters, took them from the property and said they did not know where they were when I asked. I told three people at Wright's Flooring over the span of a week that I wanted my old banisters and that I did not want them thrown out. I spoke to a female office manager, Jeffe the site manager, and every single one of the workers. But they took them anyway and made me fight to get them back. I QUOTE: "..ask the fat guy, he took them, they are gone." -Jeffe It took five days to get them back. I still do not have any banisters installed. They will rip everything out without the slightest care. The bannister removal was discussed prior, but I was not given a single word or guidance on who to call for the next steps. I still have no stair rails or balcony rails in my home. I was told I would need to "touchup" the stairs. they destroyed all of the drywall around the stairs. they mangled every vent hole and outlet housing and did not put the outlets back. This is far beyond "touchup" territory. Speaking of not putting anything back, they will remove all of your closets, disassemble shelves and doors and just leave them. Or they will put the doors back improperly so they gouge the floors when you close them. this is the case in the master closet. I now have a giant half moon gouge from their negligence. I just moved here and I didn't have so much as a chair, let alone a screwdriver to put closet doors back in. Disappointed is an understatement. The amount of cash spent on this still blows my mind.. when I think about the actual work that was done vs. the time it took me to save it. I thought long and hard before I wrote this. I called and called and called. I was ignored ignored and ignored. I officially don't care what this does to your company. Just like you have not cared about me, my wallet or my home in this process. I would rather spare the next oblivious client from going through the same situation.

We were very clear that the carpet was being installed on the 2nd floor and the rooms are large, which they knew. The installation crew of 2 people, a man and woman, arrived as scheduled (8am) and began removing the carpet. The shock came when I saw that the man was putting the old carpet/padding through the window and onto the roof. After there where 4-5 rolls of the old carpet/padding on the roof, he climbed out of the window and threw them to the ground. Frankly, I about had a stroke! Not only was that extremely dangerous but was not good for my 2 year old roof. Then they tried to move the new carpet out of the truck but it was too heavy for the 2 of them to move, so my husband and I helped them get it out. They cut the carpet for the largest room (20x17) rolled it up and the man carried it up the flight of stairs to the room and dropped it. It hit the floor so hard that it knocked a picture off the wall downstairs and shook the entire house. I ran to be sure no one was hurt but he didn't look at all concerned, but he didn't carry additional pieces upstairs until additional help arrived at about 1pm. They continued putting old carpet/padding on the roof and then throwing them off. They worked quickly laying the carpet and putting things back. They clearly were not coming back on Friday morning to finish putting things back or clean up the debris in our yard. Perhaps, we made the mistake of moving things into one room to save time. The carpet does look nice but I'm not sure that it will stand the test of time; only time will tell...
