Whoever the lady is that worked the front desk on 12/8 in the evening should be fired immediately or at least demoted and never deal with costumers again. I've lived at my current house for 6 years now and almost every single order I have delivered by USPS has an issue. Today my tracking showed "front door or driveway was inaccessible". I have a ring camera which showed that there wasn't a USPS driver in my neighborhood. I'd honestly rather drive to where my package was manufactured across the Pacific Ocean before letting USPS attempt to deliver it on time. Calling is useless since the robot tells you there is nothing you can do. I've had packages over $100 left at the front gate on the side of the road before in the rain (electronics or fragile items) and way to many times where my packages were brought to me by neighbors who got them instead of me. Absolutely pathetic from USPS, but not surprising since I do online retail and have 2 years of dealing with them ruining my customer delivery rates and shipping time. Not to mention the scams they try to pull with Priority and Express (worker told me I'd have to pay $70-$140 per package since I accidentally used the wrong envelope. Guess that's why nobody wants to work here. At this point I shipped maybe 50-100 packages before they told me) I'd use UPS if possible since they have amazing customer service and are always nice. If they can't deliver they call me (UPS) to make sure it's delivered well. Take some notes USPS. read more

Post office habitually misdelivers Mail. Now that I have signed up for informed delivery, I can see some of the mail I am supposed to be receiving that day. Yesterday , for example I had credit card bill and personal mail that was supposed to be delivered but no mail was delivered to my box. Don't know if it was trashed, delivered somewhere else, or if the dog ate it. Calling the post office is futile. They are very defensive and in spite of numerous interactions about mishandled mail, and their promises about looking into it, I have never once had a call back. Located in the heart of BG. It is a clean and well maintained facility. The employees are nice and you can get your usual business done at the post office. Sometimes there is only two people behind the counter so the line can get long and might take about 5-10 minutes wait. There is a self serve machine near the entrance but sometimes they don't work. You have to schedule an appointment here to get your passport and picture taken. The parking lot is one way around in a circle, so be careful not to go the wrong way. There is a section for drive thru mail drop off, so that is pretty convenient. Definitely alot of improvements can be made to this USPS, but what else can you do when it's the only one. read more

The clerks were all very helpful & expedient when I requested a copy of a receipt I had misplaced days later. They coordinated with Thomas, who has a wonderful attitude & is very efficient, in having my receipt ready for pickup during my lunchtime. this is the worst post office. they have lost a few packages in the last couple months. they also don't leave packages anymore at my house. reason being they can't back up out of my drive way. WALK up to the house, they have walking routes in Portland why can't these people get out of the car! your job is to drive and deliver stuff. learn how to back up or go get a job in fast food. people at the office are rude and the line is alway long. one of the guys said a supervisor would call me but of course that never happened. I'll start off by saying she gave the most attitude, disrespect i've ever seen from a worker. When i put down my boxes she started off by saying that i would have to pay shipping for one of my boxes, which i knew beforehand and had no problem with. i guess she thought i wasn't okay with this and looked at me and said "what is your problem?" with the most attitude. i was appalled from this. i said it was fine and i didn't have a problem. for the rest of the time she was slamming things, throwing our packages like a teenager when they get in trouble. she seriously needs to get in trouble for the HORRIBLE customer service. she made is VERY apparent that she hated her job and reflected that on anyone she was helping. i then called the store asking to speak to a manager (and got a supervisor) who pretty much backed up her worker the whole time and never took account of how i felt. no apologizing, just excuses. Once again our package was delivered not to u and you can never contact them. Our item said hand delivered to someone but not us. I went to mail box to get mail and was outside and had just walked in door when husband said we got a notice it was delivered. So tired of them delivering my stuff to someone else and i have to track it down or try and get the them before they close to find out where my item is. I live in a home in Battle ground and anywhere from two to five times a month we get absolutely no mail no junk mail know anything and that's just unreasonable because six people receive mail at this address so the idea of there being days where there's simply is no mail is ridiculous and I would guess that there is absolutely no day in history where there isn't at least one piece of junk mail so when the mail carrier gets to our mailbox and does not have one single thing to put in it I think that's probably a good time to recognize that they've probably given our mail to somebody else. And it's difficult when it seems like every time these no mail days pop up our days when we are waiting for a check or something important and we have to file a lost check report and have documents reissued goods it's just frustrating I realize that nobody is perfect and no system is perfect but I feel like the imperfections exceed what someone would typically be expected to endure read more

Are other people in Battle Ground, WA having difficulties with mail delivery. Yesterday, my check was put in my neighbor's mail box. Last month my medications were put in the mail box on the next street over. A few months ago, my next door neighbor received my new discover credit card. Thank God I have honest neighbors. but I wonder what mail I never did get. One time, I received a late notice for a credit card and a $33 late fee. I might say it's because of the COVID19, but has been happening off and on for years.I tried calling the BG PO but the number has been disconnected. I originally wanted to call today to let the PO know this is happening and could the mail person just be a bit more careful, when automated voice told me the wait on the phone would be over 1 hour. The number now just goes into some central system. I just completed an online complaint (which originally this wasn't a complaint), but the complaint form didn't want to know what my complaint was. I am more frustrated today not being able to just talk to someone than I was yesterday when my neighbor brought my mail over. Somehow, there should be a way that one could just call and talk to the local postmaster when there is a problem with mail delivery. read more

I live in Salmon Creek and this is one of the closest post offices to where I live. It's a huge, clean facility with ample parking. I went on a Saturday at noon and there was no line whatsoever. The staff were friendly and they have all sorts stamps in stock. Way better than Postal Annex! read more

Apparently the Battle Ground post office does not like to communicate with its customers. Three times now, I've ordered something online to be delivered to my home, only to be stored away somewhere inside the post office. When I investigate as to why my package hasn't arrived on time, the tracking information states "unable to attempt delivery due to interference by an animal. Your item will go out for delivery on the next business day as conditions permit." Then there's no delivery attempt & no communication as to why. Plus, when I call the office, I get a recording saying, "not accepting phone calls at this time." (By the way, I only have 2 indoor cats, so I don't know where the "interference by an animal" comes from.) So then I'm forced to take the time to travel to the post office, stand in line, and wait while someone figures out where my package has been stored. My disabilities make it difficult for me to go anywhere, especially when it involves a lot of walking and/or standing, so getting items delivered to my home whenever I can is essential. This problem needs to be fixed! read more
