Today I had worst experiences here…read more Because it's Saturday, many USPS locations were closed, so I drove about 30 minutes to this location since it was one of the few showing as open. I was dropping off around 100 packages, and after I had already unloaded about half of them, a white female employee came up to me and aggressively questioned why I was there. I explained that other USPS locations were closed, but she insisted that other locations were open. I asked her, "If other locations were open, why would I drive 30 minutes to come here?" Instead of helping, she threatened me and said that if I didn't remove my packages immediately, she would throw them away as trash. She even called her supervisor to ask whether other USPS locations were open, and somehow the supervisor claimed they were. Honestly, I have no idea how someone with that level of incompetence becomes a supervisor. In the end, I was forced to take every single package back out one by one after already unloading them, completely wasting my time and effort. Now I have to wait until Monday to go back to my regular USPS location. The entire experience was extremely unprofessional, hostile, and disrespectful. Absolutely terrible customer service and one of the worst USPS experiences I've ever had.

The clerk seated at the middle counter had a very poor attitude. When I accidentally selected the wrong option on the self-service machine, instead of offering help or guidance, she appeared visibly irritated, sighed repeatedly, and showed clear frustration. She did not explain anything, did not help me choose an appropriate shipping option, and made it obvious she did not want to assist. I was polite and did nothing wrong. I simply needed help. The lack of professionalism and basic courtesy made the experience uncomfortable and unwelcoming, especially for a public service position. I understand it was close to closing time, but that is not an excuse for dismissive behavior. If I could give 0 stars, I would. This location clearly needs better customer service training and accountability.

One thing to note, I tried 4 times to get the authorization code to be sent to my phone via text, but it would not work. I had to have it emailed instead. No worries, just letting others know the issue. I was helped almost immediately for my appointment time. The guy was very nice and helpful. I wish I would have gotten his name. Receipt notes: Clerk #5 on 9/24/2025 at 10:40 AM (my appointment was at 10:30 AM). I was there for maybe 15 minutes total. I was truly expecting at least 45 minutes. Everything was easy, fast, professional, and convenient. There is so much surrounding a passport, so it's hard to know where to go and what to do. I already has my photos done at Walgreens a week prior and I completed my paperwork prior to my post office appointment. Doing this will shorten your appointment time. I was done and out of here by 10:13 am! There was a short wait but the line dissipated rather quickly. The people who work here were quick, efficient, and courteous. The woman who assisted me was fantastic. She quickly processed my application and I was out of there in no time. I am definitely glad that they were able to process everything so quickly! It was definitely a weight lifted off of my shoulders! Once the world opens up again I will be ready to go New Passport in Hand!!! Thank you Alief USPS! (My only negative would be the parking lot here... it's too cramped and people don't park properly) I would park away from the post office just for safety reasons and walk over.

Speaking with Michael and also Mr. Gandhi's nephew, they said they were opening on Sunday for a limited time during the holidays. The location is on the westbound side of Westheimer in between Dairy Ashford and Eldridge. It sure was nice to find them open for business! Very nice and professional gentlemen. A good place to go if you need to get some packages shipped or faxing or copying on a day when most other places are closed
