That shows how long it has been since I visited a post office. I was directed by a sign at another post office at Gessner and Westpark. Because that office doesn't have a Saturday pickup. I didn't want to let the mail sits in the collection box over the weekend. That's why I'm here. Inside looks good but outside needs some TLC. The GPS took me all the way around the block. I mean these people can NOT handle a simple test of delivering something simple and small that weighs lesser than one pound to my door! It was our for delivery on Saturday when I was off ALL DAY but then took it take to the station...why? Highlights* from an abuse case I filed with the Postal Service Office of Inspector General's Hotline on April 4, 2023 which was promptly forwarded to Houston's USPS Consumer and Industry Contact Office. ____ I haven't had normal mail delivery via USPS since I left Binghamton, New York on April 30, 2021 despite sending regular/monthly complaints via USPS.com since summer of 2021, talking to several USPS staff in New York state and in Houston, and even yelping....Changing mailing addresses to the 77007 zip code in October 2022 hasn't helped. Basically, we either don't get our envelop mail or publications at all, or it's sporadic/unpredictable. And we've never stopped getting mail from former residents of the apartment we've been living in since moving to Houston. I also never stopped getting called to talk about the issue even though that's proven useless....Most recently, two different packages addressed to my two mailing addresses by an org called Buy From A Black Woman never got to me after they sent [one to Dunlop Station] in early March and (after I explained the USPS ordeal) another for free [to my newer mailing address in the 77007 zip code] in mid-March; so I had to submit two cases of theft over the weekend. [On April 3, 2023], after getting two emails from USPS saying United States Postal Inspection Service (USPIS) would be looking into the theft issue, I had one voicemail from Dunlop post office saying nothing new and one miss call from Dunlop all within 3 hours; later [that] afternoon I got an email from Cassandra Garcia, Supervisor Customer Service, telling me "To ensure that this matter is immediately corrected, appropriate action has been taken. I am quite shocked that either this postal service has not shut down by now or they haven't replaced their employees. The one lady in the front who wears different hair color often- very nice although- always looks sleep or tired and she moves extremely slowly. She asks you to step up to the front counter, but in a way that she appears as though she'd rather not be bothered- technically they ALL sound as though they are frustrated with attitude and do not wish to be bothered. Her coworker came from out of nowhere- did not ask how my day is going or how I am or anything- I wish that we could ALL stay at home and do the things we prefer to do other than work, but be grateful you got a job! She handed me the little package and did not say a single solid word. How in the world did they get hired to begin with? I think the entire USPS company needs to looks into all of the USPS locations as well as their employees. just about all of the USPS locations got only ONE star reviews. read more

I wish I could rate it 0 stars. The only reason I keep going is because it is 4 minutes down the street from me. The employees are extremely rude. I tried filing a complaint and was advised that they are under a lot of stress so they get frustrated. Then while I was trying to say something the manager wouldn't even let me speak. They delivered a package of mine to the wrong address, even though the address on the shipping information was accurate. When I found this out, I called this office to see where it was. I was a given the run around for about 20 minutes before they said they would reach back out to me to confirm its location. This was over a week ago and Everytime I try to call them back on the same line, they never answer. I even took it upon myself to go into the office itself where I was then told the same thing. I filed a SO number and still have yet to hear back. Worst customer service I've ever experienced and now I have no Christmas present to give to my loved one. Truly disappointing. read more

I can't even begin to say how disappointing this branch is. As a national organization that is supposed to uphold a certain standard and prestige, this branch falls so far from the expectations that it's organization upholds. Multiple times packages are lost, can't be found (when it was right there in their storage room), said it's delivered and no where to be found, late, etc. You cannot blame a pandemic for disorganization and unprofessionalism. Honestly I've been coming to this location for a little over 4 years now and granted its not going to be your fanciest USPS BUT if you are aware whats happening the company itself is struggling (because they dont overcharge on shipping) so its a win for consumers and a L for the company itself. With that being said- Regardless The staff has always been absolutely amazing! I've been to the Westchase location on Sam Houston tollway and definitely saw the difference in a young lady there absolutely not wanting to be helpful at all :( But that's not the case for this location luckily all the employees have always been extremely helpful and just regular folks tryna take care of you. :) I'm very grateful for the service they have provided to me for these past four years and I definitely recommend anyone to go here for all your shipping needs. After coming here for years and years now, I would have to say that I have a lot more bad experience than the good ones. Yes, the people that work here are rude. They don't care about "customer service." They only care about pissing you off as much as possible knowing that you can't do anything about it. The window that's for the orange slip? It's supposed to stay open until 5:00 pm on weekdays. But there has been more than several occasions that I've seen people come and ring the bell around 4:50 and NOBODY would come. So these poor people are then forced to stay in line to pick up their package at the counter. If you were to come on a Saturday, be ready to ring the bell multiple times over a period of at least 10 minutes before somebody would actually come help you out. The women at the counter? Rude beyond belief. If you're clueless about what you want, they won't help you. They are rude, condescending, and they would talk down on you. Imagine Patty and Selma Bouvier on the Simpsons. Now imagine them 10x worse. That's how bad they are. Obviously, I have to keep coming here because this location is the hub for my address. But I know I will loathe the day when I'm waiting in line waiting to get servi... I mean, waiting to get talked down to. P.S. If you lose your mailbox key, the replacement lock will run you $30. They had a pretty quick turnaround (at least when I did it.) It took them less than 24 hours from the time I submitted my request until the time I received a phone call telling me that my keys are ready for pick up. read more

Our mail boxes at our condominium complex ( 150 units) were left unlocked by the postal worker and mail was falling on the ground. All the girls have an attitude and then one of them was just woke up from taking nap and then she starting talking to a lady that brought her food and us clients are just here waiting. A client ask for international pricing to ship something and the lady answer "I don't know" and the other lady just started laughing, how rude. Customer service sucks. This post office delivers to our apartment complex, and whoever is doing the delivering is stealing mail and packages from us. Our mailboxes are under lock and key, only we have the keys and also the post office. Without any breakage of our mail boxes we are finding our packages missing. I had a credit card stolen as well as two whole packages (one an expensive phone case). We are reporting this location to the authorities this is complete BS. I have nothing against USPS in general, but this one is something else completely. I moved to this zip code 5 month ago - during which time, I had my package stolen once (cuz apparently the delivery man thinks leaving the package outside the leasing office is a good idea) and delayed 3 times. I waited on the phone trying to resolve my newest delayed package (scheduled for Nov 28th, today is Dec 10th) for 34:50 minutes before driven mad by the "hold" message. I hang up and called again, and very quickly a lady answered and said it would be delivered tomorrow. Ah by the way, on the bright side, if you order stuff from Amazon, you can call Amazon's customer service and request them to send your package us via other carriers that are not USPS. This is probably one of the worst post offices we have had to deal with. Rude employees, everyone shifts the blame to the next employee, the runaround has been given multiple times when we try to resolve issues. "Oh come tomorrow so and so can help." When we come then its "oh im sorry they told you that, you need to come when they are here." Not to mention they have changed the lock on our PO BOX THAT WE HAVE PAID FOR and gave to someone else. We have PackCity lockers at our apartment community and she chose to leave a package at my doorstep (while I was there!!) no knock no nothing. IT WAS STOLEN! The company re-sent the package with 2-day service and AGAIN the carrier did not utilize the package lockers, she took it back to the postal facility and did not leave a notice in my mailbox that she had done so. I had to call the company that sent the package and get tracking info on it. Then I had to go down to the postal facility and wait for 45 minutes while they "searched" for the package!! Seriously? ALL of the employees that I encountered that day (August 5 at 11:30 am) were worthless and slow as molasses; totally inept! The 2-day service that the shipping vendor paid for, they did not receive. Extremely bad service here. I had received a notice that a package was ready for me to pick up. When I arrive they said that the package has been attempted to redelivered to my address. Waited 2 days and still the package did not arrived. When I came back the teller was very rude and upset although the whole time I was very nice and cordial. I was simply stating my confusion . I got stuck in Houston last month because of COVID-19, I cannot fly home to Seattle. I do not know the laws here in Houston, I ordered a package to be delivered but UPS (sure post) uses USPS. My package ended up at this post office and I had to go and pick it up. RUDE RUDE RUDE, all the employees here are RUDE. I was told I had to leave because I was not wearing a face mask. Totally understandable! But it is always the WAY you speak to people to get a message across! I would not have accessed the post office IF THERE WERE a note posted on the door (maybe I did not see it). The staff should work on making a sign like the other community businesses. When I went to the blue door to get my package, the worker told me "maybe you should get a Texas ID". Not his place! None of his business! I am not a resident of Houston I am a visitor (THANK GOD!). Monday, 4 January 2016. This one worker, I think her name is Debra. She wore the name tag on her collar. She sat on the middle counter. I bought envelope from that location. She asked me to seal. I told her I would not lick an envelope. I could use some water to seal the envelope they sell. Sponge was dry as a brick. She asked what I wanted to do. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Then after she weighted the envelope, she asked if she can sell me a stamp instead of giving me the first-class sticker that I've been getting from her coworker for months.
