I had an extremely frustrating experience with this post office, and the lack of accountability is unacceptable. My package tracking initially showed "delivered," then later that same day it was updated to say it was physically picked up. We never received it, so we immediately contacted customer care. At that time, we were told the package didn't have an address and would be returned to the sender. After speaking with the sender, they confirmed the address was clearly on the package. We called USPS again and were then told the package had been redelivered. Again--we never received it. We opened a case, and both the district office and the local post office manager contacted us saying they were "looking into it." When the manager followed up, she first claimed the package was delivered to our porch. When we told her it was not, she then changed her statement and said it was delivered to the mailbox--which is also incorrect. Instead of resolving the issue, we were told to file a claim because the mail carrier insists it was delivered. Meanwhile, we are still without our package and continue to get the runaround. To make matters worse, customer service later told us the case had been marked as "resolved" by the post office--even though nothing has been resolved. We had to open yet another claim with customer affairs. This entire experience has been disorganized, inconsistent, and incredibly disappointing. There seems to be no real effort to investigate or take responsibility. I would not trust this location with anything important. read more

First and foremost Sherelle is amazing. I came in with 12 mins left to spare before they closed and even though I was late coming in Ms. Sherelle greeted me with a bright smile and got me and my packages on our merry little way. I will say that this isn't my neighborhood USPS but because of employees like Ms. Sherelle, I take the trip here because it's so pleasant. I want to thank her for her kindness and her patience. I've been using this USPS on a regular basis. Sometimes they'll do my things quick or slow it depends on the line as well. I don't have any issue yet quite often the international form is out so it's better that they stock them on a regular basis. It's a quite old looking facility as well. After being left on hold for over an hour, I called back and spoke with someone who said she would speak to the carrier and call me back, she never called me back. The next day I called and spoke with someone and although she was the first out of 4 people who was actually able to help me. She was very rude and condescending. I'm not going to go into detail here because this would become a VERY LONG post. My suggestion is to fire all of the old incompetent people and get a fresh batch of people who actually like their job and take pride in helping customers. read more

Ummm HOUSTON WE HAVE A PROBLEM. I had a package scheduled to be delivered on a Thursday but I wasn't home right? Cool. So the next Friday morning I got to the post office to physically pick it up. They tell me they can't give it to me because it's being processed. I said, "well I won't be home--can they leave it at the door since I'm here?" He says yes. Is my package delivered? NO. I call and nobody has answers. Then I'm told that the regular mailman wasn't working that day it was someone else. HOW DOES A PACKAGE GO MISSING AND NOBODY HAS ANSWERS? Extremely irritated with their lack of help. Checked the tracking number again on the following Wednesday and they said they tried to redeliver Saturday...but when I called again on Monday they still didn't know where it was! I want to the location on December 20 around 9:30 AM and there was one lady behind the counter and a lobby full of customers. After waiting in line for about half an hour I informed the lady that I needed this document sent through certified mail. She's informs that I'll be no problem and I pay her and leave. Upon two days of looking at my receipt I realize that she hadn't charged me for certified mail even though I requested it not once but twice. Probably the slowest and most unprofessional post office in Houston I get there at 4:30 with my package boxed and addressed ready to go all I need is postage and it's about 7 people ahead of me so I was expecting maybe a 15 minute wait because I know they can be slow. My mail carrier is wonderful and the people at the front desk are wonderful but every now and then, I miss a delivery and it has to go to the actual post office. Going in here to pick up a package, you ring the doorbell and wait for a long time before someone actually comes to see you. Then it's always a gum smacking, eye-rolling female that answers as if you forced her to apply for the job. The rules are always different. One minute you need your ID, next time you need the pink slip. I lost my slip once and the young lady was able to find my package with my ID. (Which should be appropriate seeing as how anyone can take the slip and present it to the post office) I came in for a second time and forgot my slip in the car and I asked the lady if she could use my ID with my name and address on it. She rolls her eyes and tells me that she needs the tracking number. So I go to the car and was back within a minute. Rang the doorbell and had to wait a while before she could get back to the door. She finally gets back, says nothing as I hand her my slip. There's absolutely no customer service. I get that they may encounter difficult people everyday but so does every other working adult. Although I am closer to the Pearland Post office on Cullen I am "zoned" to this post office. I called the post office to have a certified letter redelivered but the lady who answered the phone after the third call with no answer rudely told me "HOLD ON", put me on hold an never came back. I called again and she hung up on me, I called right away a third time and the phone was off the hook ! So I went down there in person already aggravated and there was one clerk and 10 people in line at 10:30 in the morning ! After 20 minutes in line another clerk comes out and sees me holding the certified signature required paper the mailman left me and she tells me this is not the line you have to go the side window. I go to the side window and the lady there tells me the card says October not September (todays date). I told her the mailman apparently made a mistake please get my letter that I am expecting. It took me a FULL 45 minutes of this nonsense. PLEASE AVOID THIS GRIMY POST OFFICE WITH IT'S EQUALLY CRUMMY CLERKS. IF THEY WORKED FOR ME I WOULD FIRE THEM ALL. read more

I had issues with this USPS picking up packages from our business that were scheduled for pickup, but not being picked up. I called them the following day again to confirm if they would be picking up the packages, and once again I gave them my confirmation number. Everyone I spoke to seemed confused. One person told me that they didn't pick up packages there. I was put on hold 3 different times for 15 to 20 minutes at a time. Who does that?!! The last time I was put on hold I'm not sure if they forgot about me or they just didn't want to deal with me. Not a great way to start the day. FRUSTRATING MORNING!!! Anyone that answers the phone at a place of business should have some type of phone skills, and not put you on hold when your in the middle of a sentence. read more

Why why why is my mail or packages not being delivered. Once again I get notifications that my package was delivered yet I got nothing! Last package about 3 weeks ago was delivered by a person that got my package delivered to them on a totally different street and zip code. Sometimes I'm outside working on vehicle and I hear the mail person talking away on the phone so obviously it's a distraction to read the right address on mail. The post office keeps me on hold forever when I call so I drive to post office while still on hold. When they acknowledge me in person I tell them I'm on hold with them on the phone and they dont care. They always give the same crap excuse they are busy yet all I hear is loud laughter coming from the back. Everyone that works in the package department is a joke. I also get text that location was not accessible, I live in a house. No gate, no code, no nothing.
