This post office is hands-down, the worst post office I've had the misfortune of visiting. Due to my job, I visit regional post offices nearly daily and this one is the absolute worst. In particular, a woman with a thick foreign accent and blonde hair. She was so precise and meticulous (you'd think that would be a good thing, it isn't in this case) in her job, she was oblivious and uncaring to the massive line forming. She had no sense of urgency and she was giving every customer an incredibly hard time. So much that it had to be intentional. The person in front of me had a prepaid first class package they were dropping off that weighed in at 9.1 ounces. She would not accept the package because the person only paid for 9 ounces. I openly gawked in disbelief. I thought I was on some candid camera or reality show. I don't know what her problem is, but she should not be working in customer service. She does a disservice to customer service and I'm appalled she works in a capacity where she's allowed to abuse people because she doesn't have to account for her actions.

They have outside mailboxes for after hours and inside it's just like any other post office... including the typical unhappy and grumpy workers. I really can't figure it out. If their job is so bad why don't they quit and get a job that makes them happy? I mean they are lucky enough to have a job with normal hours, great job security and benefits so why so grumpy? And why take it out on us? I swear I have a panic attack when I wait in line because I know how mean and awful they are going to be.

And after reading other reviews, I see there is no sense in me going to the current Strongsville postmaster with these complaints as I do not believe they will be addressed. In any case, this one is even closer to work too, not to mention the lack of traffic to get there. The employees here have always been incredibly friendly and helpful. The country, small-town charm really shows. The selection of stamps is usually quite limited. Them being in a smaller town they don't get a large quantity of the new and unique ones. However, they're a full service location and I have already shipped countless packages out of here. There are even some select occasion cards available on a small rotating rack and an assortment of the flat rate envelopes and boxes. Outside, the building still has an older Post Office charm to it with brass (at least in color) letters and numbers on a red brick façade. There is parking both on the street and in a large lot adjacent. I've never not had a place to park and never had to wait more than 5 minutes in line.
