Always a wonderful place to visit today was very busy especially during Ramadan. Reservations are highly required, food took a little longer than normal and items were forgotten. Little sad but they are short staffed will come back but not during Ramadan. See y'all soon

Great Mediterranean restaurant tucked away in a shopping plaza with plenty of food options. The ambiance was cute. Had a great server who was fully aware of ingredients and could help navigate the menu with my husbands food allergies. Portions were huge and worth the price. The lemon mint smoothie was the perfect touch for a post hike. Ended my meal with baklava but they also have ice cream options for dessert.

INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE. We will definitely be returning. I found this restaurant on Yelp and took my dad. The fresh pita bread and three sauces as a free app was such an amazing touch- it's the first time I've been to a Mediterranean restaurant that has a starter. The chicken tikka and beaf tikka dinner plate was a big hit with my dad (and myself). The chicken was so juicy and both were perfectly flavored. I enjoyed the falafel, and it was warm and fresh! I have been chasing the perfect falafel after visiting Israel- and holy cow this might be it! The restaurant is beautiful, and the people were so kind and attentive! We will definitely be returning!

This by far is THE best mediterranean food we have had. Mediterranean cuisine is my favorite. We have went to Austin, Cedar Park, and even Belton and it's been average. The hummus is as fresh as you can get. The warm pita bread is out of this world. It's so light, fresh, and airy. The staff is outstanding with service, smiles, explanations of menu, and making sure your experience is the best. This is truly authentic homemade Mediterranean . The best thing is that this food is soooo healthy for you!! Our son has never had baklava. We ordered him a piece to go and he said it's the best desert he has had! We will definitely be back!

I have returned once again! This place is seriously so good. You can tell food is authentic and made to order. The bread is so good I ate TWO of them. Service was good, they forgot my water and still charged me for it lol. After I told them I didn't receive the water they took it off the tab. Still gets 5 stars bc the food was that good. Go give this place a try!

An elevated Mediterranean food experience in Round Rock! The ambiance is beautiful. I believe food magically tasted better in a pretty space. The decor is a feast for the eyes! No magic is necessary for the food though- it is fresh, well-prepared, and delicious. The service was expedient, polite, and not overbearing. I would definitely say this is my new favorite place to enjoy Mediterranean cuisine! It's a "must"! Enjoy!

I've had usta kababgy a few times when it first opened in Lamar area (the original location before they moved across the street). Food was excellent but I didn't write a review then cuz the service wasnt the best. This round rock location was unassuming from the outside but has some pretty nice ambience inside. It was pretty busy on a Friday night. This time, the service was homely and kind. Got the sharing bbq plate - comes with 7 skewers of your choice + hummus and tabbouleh, and bread. Not sure if bread is unlimited. The food was all fresh, the tabbouleh was the best I have had yet. Usually it's heavy on the lemon and parsley and both were fairly muted here. The meats were all good. My fav was the chicken kabab and the lamb Tikka. Besides those two and the chicken Tikka, the rest of them kinda tastes the same to be honest and I really don't know which is which. Still, it was all still good though. The 3 sauces (garlic, tahini, and some kinda really spicy sauce) really helped in enhancing the flavors. The bread was just fantastic too. I liked the music too but it was a bit too loud in my opinion. We had a pretty good experience overall.

Chicken and beef kabob plate. Beef was amazing. Rice is also very good. Hummus so rich and creamy. All of it was delicious.

Amazing food and service. This place will easily become a regular in your rotation of dining out. I could eat here once a week and not get tired of it. Hummus was so creamy and smooth. Beef kabobs was juicy and tender and had amazing flavor. Do yourself a favor and eat here soon!

Some of the best kebabs I have had in the Austin area in a long time. I ordered the lamb, chicken and beef/lamb kebabs and enjoyed the lamb the most. All food is cooked fresh before each order and tastes delicious. The service was great here. 3 different workers came and checked on the quality of food and made sure we didn't need anything. At 6:45p on a Sunday, there was no wait and only other family eating inside. This was my first time eating here, but I had heard raving reviews from my parents who are seasoned vets at this place. Their recommendation did not disappoint and I am currently planning my return before leaving town in a week. When hearing it was my first time, they gave me some free complimentary desserts that were also delicious. Very fresh.

Parking is plentiful right in front of the restaurant. We came by on a Saturday around 1 PM, worried it might be packed, but it was actually pretty quiet. You can sit anywhere you like, grab a plate, and pay when you're done. The space is large and open, with three full rows of food and drinks plus a dedicated station for fruit and desserts. Everything was fresh, not overly salty, and there were plenty of options. My favorites were the hummus with eggplant (so flavorful with great texture), the salad and cucumber salad (fresh and refreshing), the dolma (perfectly done), gyro (tender and tasty), baked cauliflower (so good), fried chicken (juicy, crispy, and not salty), falafel (extra crunchy), and the lentil soup (simple but delicious). And don't miss their coffee at the checkout--it has a hint of warm spice and is the perfect finish after a meal. Surprisingly, I ended up loving the vegetable dishes even more than the meats. Overall, yes, $26 per person is on the higher side (what doesn't cost these days, right?!), but it's a great spot to try a variety of Mediterranean dishes that are fresh, simply seasoned, and let the ingredients shine--perfect whether you're new to the cuisine or just want a bit of everything.

Thanksgiving came around and we had zero desire to cook or clean. Our "plan" (and I use that word…read moreloosely) was Golden Corral. We figured if we got there early, we'd beat the crowd. Cute of us, honestly. We pulled up and that parking lot looked like Beyoncé was performing. Cars everywhere: on the grass, on the curbs, people creating their own imaginary parking spaces. People circling like it was Black Friday. Absolutely not. We left with no backup plan and even less hope. Pulled up Yelp and I remembered that Dimassi's buffet had been on my radar for months, but was it open? Called them up and CHA-CHING!!! Money! They were open, guys. That phone call felt like hitting the lottery. Thanksgiving was saved. We arrived and Dimassi's was calm, clean, and the buffet bar was fully stocked with hot food fresh out of the kitchen. They had your Mediterranean favorites: dips, salads, gyro meat, dolma, chicken kabobs, saffron rice, the good garlicky toum, warm potatoes, fresh pita, everything. They even prepared a turkey for patrons who wanted some. Wow. They understood the assignment. Now a couple things could be tweaked. I like my baba ganoush served warm...and maybe they could have had some lamb options? But, honestly? For a buffet on Thanksgiving at $23 a person ($9 for the 3 yr old with us), they delivered HARD. Dimassi's didn't just feed us...they rescued us from the Golden Corral Hunger Games. Thank you for being open. Thank you for coming through in the clutch. You saved Thanksgiving.

Not only are they incredibly kind, but also very knowledgeable about the vegan options, and even keep all vegan prep separate from animal products. For the first time ever, I was able to try real tahdig, so thoroughly crispy that you can hear it crunch between the teeth of your dining companion across the table. Khoresh bademjan is typically made with lamb, but in this case, tender lentils carry the eggplant with enough meatiness that you'd never think the dish had ever been prepared differently. If you only get one thing, though, make it the ash reshteh. Don't be fooled by the size of the bowl; this is one hearty entree, absolutely packed with chickpeas, lentils, kidney beans, soft wheat noodles, and more herbs and spices than I could identify on a single spoon. I'm already plotting how I can recreate this at home, ASAP. There's even a vegan dessert! Sweet and sticky halva, which is rich enough to split four or five ways at least, if you weren't already stuffed from the main meal. It's a double-edged sword that it was so quiet on a Saturday night. No fight for a table or wait for service, but it worries me that there's almost no buzz for this family-owned business. My original plan was to order Jimmy John's and take lunch to my kids at school but that plan was derailed when I saw the word Gyro. Came to Yelp to check out the reviews before I got selfish and ate lunch alone and lo and behold not one review yet. So of course I had to take one for the team right? Right! Walked in, there was an iPad saying order here but as I went to tap it I was welcomed and offered to order at the counter. Their menu seems pretty simple but being an awkward introvert I panicked and just said GYRO please. To go! (so I can eat in my car in your parking lot so I don't have to see or talk to anyone of course.) Okay I wasn't expecting much to be honest, with the way the menu was printed I felt like I was ordering from a trailer but this gyro let me tell you, top 3 gyros I've had in my life. I will say I like spicey stuff so if you do not you may want to ask for sauce on the side or no sauce. I don't know what's on here but it has a light spiciness to it. On the other hand if you love spice you may want more. So I'll be back, I want to do my research on the menu and try something else next time. Personally I could just eat a bowl of the gyro meat and be perfectly happy.
