I have been a client of Holladay Vet for the lifetime of two beloved pets, despite their higher…read morecost, because I felt that their service was good and they had helped thoughtfully throughout the years. I found a dog on the side of the road and rescued him to foster him. I went in to get him checked out so that I could know about any health problems before he was adopted to his forever home, and to get him some immunizations just in case he was behind. During this appt they signed me up for a Paw Plan, stating that would be the cheapest option and not mentioning that it would be several hundred dollars when I canceled the plan at his adoption. So here we are, I have spoken to their billing department (Quentin who was rude and aggressive from the beginning) and their manager (Brittney who spoke to me with a complete lack of empathy and told me it wasn't her job to explain to me why we couldn't come to a compromise over +-$100), neither of whom has been able to explain to me why I should be paying hundreds of dollars for an adopted dog to get two immunizations when I could have gone any number of other places for immunizations that would have costed me less than the Paw Plan payments. They were rude and completely uninterested in a compromised cost, and they have absolutely lost my business forever. Don't expect for any longevity of a perfect client who has paid tens of thousands of dollars over the years, to get you any special consideration. Just a small amount of compromise would have left me feeling better about the interaction and about Holladay Vet in general. I would STRONGLY suggest that Holladay Vet invest in some customer service with their billing. The vet techs and people working at the desk clearly have some; it would be a good idea to clean up the back half so that people like myself don't feel so betrayed and taken advantage of. I would suggest going to ANY other vet clinic in town.

When I arrived at the…read moreclinic for my scheduled appointment time, it seemed to be Standard Operating Procedure to gaslight me every which way possible rather than simply admitting their online system had failed. If you insist on only using an online booking system, it is not a responsible business practice to have no way of accommodating your customers when it glitches, other than telling people they will have to come back in a week.

Quite a stressful experience as…read moreI discovered my dog needed to be seen by a vet, I called roughly 5 other vet hospitals and they could not see my dog until the following week. So grateful this clinic had an appointment available for us when I called a few days in advance. Check in was simple and easy. There were a few people waiting with their pets that were waiting without an appointment to be seen. I think it's nice of the clinic to do that and allow them to be seen when the vet has some time, so many other places would turn them away. Anyway, the technicians were so good and sweet with my dog and they took really good care of her. I felt the vet examined my dog thoroughly. I don't know comparability of the cost, the exam fee was about $50 and then treatment an meds, we ended up at roughly $102. A small price to pay so my dog could be taken care of so well. The technician gave her a few treats and was so sweet. You can tell that the staff really does care about animals. They do vaccinations, I believe nail grooming, among other things. They are undergoing some construction I believe to expand some. I would recommend this place for all of your animal needs!
