I took my truck in mid-July to have an oil leak and an A/C leak fixed. Right off the bat, the owner was upfront and told me to get A/C line dye myself and add it, saying it would save money rather than going through their shop. I appreciated that kind of honesty--it gave me hope. I was able to drop my truck off after hours, which was convenient. But unfortunately, that was the last smooth part of this entire process. I didn't get my truck back until the end of March. What happened in those 8 long months? Well, apparently their one and only mechanic quit. Then the replacement quit too. I gave them a lot of grace and time, but weeks went by with zero progress. It honestly seemed like no one else there had a clue how to work on a Ford--or maybe no one even tried. I made multiple phone calls and heard "about two weeks" more times than I can count. I went in person several times to check in. At one point, frustrated beyond reason, I even yelled at the owner and asked why they were still taking in new work if they couldn't handle what they already had. His response? A shrug, basically. I was told I could take it home and not get the work done, but finding another shop was nearly impossible since most around here only work on semis and tractors. So, reluctantly, I left it there. Eventually, they did get around to fixing the oil leak. I waited a while to write this review just to make sure it actually stayed fixed--and thankfully, it has. However, the A/C issue was not resolved. After waiting the better part of a year, I cut my losses and decided not to take it back. I'm not about to hand them my truck again only to see it next summer. Bottom line: yes, one issue was fixed. But the service, communication, and timeline were incredibly frustrating. I understand things happen--employees quit, life is unpredictable--but if you don't have the staff or time, be honest. Don't leave someone's vehicle sitting untouched for months on end. I won't be returning, and I can't in good conscience recommend them unless you're extremely patient and only need one thing fixed--maybe. The pricing was very fair. Hopefully this was only a hiccup, but do your due diligence.

Well, I'm thrilled I found one and would highly recommend Duo-Tech to anyone who needs service on their car or truck. Thanks!!!

This thing feels so wobbly and cheap when you are walking in the back and loading stuff one wrong placed rock or wheel and your are out of luck. Not to include I was paying cash and told them I wanted something off the top, they gave me 50 or 100 for something or another stating they called their such and such.. and did blah blah blah.. Sitting there next customer walked in... same ol pony show gave him the same amount and he was financing. I will never purcahse another thing from Trailer Plus after my interactions. The team are liars, right to your face. They cold call people like bill collectors, you can drive any direction and the price changes with the wind Colorado to Texas to Utah the prices are all over the place and the ones in Utah/Idaho didnt want to make a deal, and 2/3 employees you talk to have an attitude problem. I think my next steps are to file a negative BBB complaint so that my concerns are formalized beyond Yelp, then take to google reviews and elsewhere. The dudes who sold me the trailer, despite lying to my face were at least lying politely.

This is one of those times when negative stars would be necessary…read more I purchased a trailer from this company just over a year ago. I called to inquire about the specs/price and thanked them for the information. Within 20 minutes, a salesman named Craig Salma called me and did everything short of badgering me to buy. I told him I'd decided I wasn't comfortable with purchasing from a location that was over an hour away to which he began to extol the virtues of his customer service capabilities. I relented and had the product picked up by a friend who lived near the Ogden store in question. $1800 cash payment later, I would begin the worst customer service experience I've had to date. Upon arrival and inspection I noticed the latch to close the ramp wasn't welded on 2 of its four points. I contacted Craig immediately (within 2 hours) of pickup including the 1 hour drive time) and didn't hear back until the following day. As it was the middle of the work week I was unable to get the trailer back to them for repair and he was unwilling to have it picked up. Asking about a refund, he denied any option to do so. After several days of emails and phone calls where the words "Company Policy" and "beyond our control" was repeated, I ultimately convinced them to allow me to take it to a location 30 mins from my work ( requiring me to after take time off). The repair was done satisfactorily by the alternate location but at much expense to me in terms of time and money. In short: 1. The service is bad 2. Lip service is abundant 3. Product is not QA'd as it should 4. Warranty is on your dime and your time, 100%. If this is truly company policy, and not this salesman's shortfalls as a professional then the company should shut down. This is truly an instance that once they have your money, they make you squirm to get any level of service on a 2 hour old product. Craig continued to pat himself on the back for his efforts in the resolution via email but it was I who made all of the efforts in time, money and overall expense that made the product whole. Insult to injury? After 1.5 years, this trailer has another broken weld on a crossmember that bears no direct load from what's being hauled. Bad QA and a salty, salty lesson learned the hard way regarding Trailers Plus service, product and integrity. Seriously, avoid.
