When I arrived Saturday at 8:05am (They open at 8am!), there were two groups ahead of me already. The gentleman was alone, but he was already in the process of checking out the first couple and we watched him go over everything very nicely with them. Then he accepted the return from the second couple, inspected the cart and checked for gas, then asked them to wait for a moment while he checked our golf cart out before taking them to the airport (super cool that they have this service! We didn't use it since we took the ferry over, so I'm not sure if they charge for it, but still very convenient!) He quickly called us inside, found my paperwork already ready and got me all checked out in less than ten minutes. When going over the golf cart, he even encouraged me to take photos of it for proof of any scratches. The cart itself ran great and we went all over the island in one day with it. When it was time to return, we only had to put a bit over 4 liters in it! A gallon for all the driving we did was a steal! He looked over the cart quickly, cancelled our deposit, and had us out quickly. Great experience and I recommended everyone! Oh! And it's easy walking distance from the ferry!! A lot of the other cart shops I saw were farther into the island and I was so glad I didn't pick some of them because I have no idea how I would have made it to their store!

After walking 10 minutes uphill in the 90-degree heat, I was told my child was not allowed to ride on the golf cart and that I would not receive a refund. If children aren't allowed, that policy should be made crystal clear before customers book and pay. The same goes for the **$250 security deposit**, which was never clearly disclosed upfront. Instead of working with us or offering any solution, they kept my deposit and sent us away. We were left without a golf cart after planning ahead and paying in advance. Good customer service starts with clear communication, honesty, and giving customers all the important information before taking their money. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience. I would not recommend this company and encourage others to ask about **all policies, age restrictions, deposits, and refund policies** before booking so they don't end up in the same situation.

When the cart died, i called the number to let them know and figure out the best way for me to resolve this, and they told me to leave it in a legal parking spot and they would come get it. I didnt know they were going to charge me a tow fee for something that was not my fault. I would never rent from this company again.

If you are out of the business hours, the pick up will be next morning 9am. We booked one day ahead to pick up at 9am instead of 1 pm. It was worth it! Airport & Drop-off: The drop-off process is incredibly convenient. If you take the early flight, you can drop the car in a parking lot next to airport --2-3 minute walk with $25 drop fee. Work hours, they offer a prompt airport pick up and drop off. The most surprise part is I accidentally took the car keys with me back to San Juan! I was so worried about how to return her key or pay for the lost key, but Julimar was understanding I was rush to the airport. I communicated with her and shipped the keys back to her overnight using USPS, she did not charge any extra fees for that. I am trully appreciate. Vehicle Recommendation: We had a Kia, which was sufficient for most main roads. However, some roads on the island are quite rough/unpaved, so a Jeep would definitely be better, more comfortable choice for exploring. Thank you, Julimar, for making our trip so much easier. As soon as we stepped off the ferry, we were approached by several UTV rental companies. We ended up choosing UTV Rentals PR since they were the first to speak to us. The first red flag came almost immediately when their shuttle driver told us there wasn't enough room for both of us, so I had to leave my girlfriend behind while I went to pick up the UTV. When I arrived, the vehicle I was given appeared to be in rough condition, but I didn't think much of it. We were excited to start exploring the island. Unfortunately, our adventure took an unexpected turn. Around 5:02 p.m., our UTV suddenly stopped working, leaving us stranded. I immediately tried calling the rental company, but there was no answer--they had already closed for the day. I then called every phone number listed on our rental contract, but no one responded. After nearly 40 minutes of panicking, trying to troubleshoot the UTV, and even attempting to contact AAA, we were feeling completely helpless. As a last resort, I walked up a random road hoping to find someone who could help. That's when we met some of the kindest people we've ever encountered. They didn't hesitate to help us and even drove us back to the rental company. The driver introduced himself as Jerry. At first it didn't register, even though he was wearing a Jerry's Jeep Rental shirt, but I later realized it was Jerry himself. He and his wife showed us an incredible amount of kindness, compassion, and genuine hospitality when they had absolutely no obligation to do so. What started as a stressful experience ended with a reminder that the people you meet can make all the difference. Jerry and his wife turned a frustrating situation into one we'll never forget--not because of what happened, but because of how they treated us. We are truly grateful for their generosity and willingness to help complete strangers. What I liked about the service was letting them know west time the Puerto Rico ferry would be dropping us off on Culebra. They picked us up from the ferry and drove us 5 minutes to their business location. There must have been 7 of us waiting in line to rent a vehicle. The problem was there was only one girl doing all the paperwork. This took some time and you could see every one was antsy to move in with their day. She was by no means in a hurry to get us checked in and out the door. I will say there would have been no way we could have made it to our cottage located on one of the largest hills on the island that over looked Flemingo beach. We took the off road route to get to the beach instead of being with the crowd or having to pay the entrance fees per person and per vehicle. There was no way a golf cart or even a car would have survived that fort road and I'm still wondering if it was even a road. But the jeep did us well. We had no problems with it. Or was comfortable and my girlfriend was able to connect her iPhone and listen to her music and / or podcasts. The only issue was we needed to make sure to fill the gas tank back up before returning the vehicle. We finally found a gas station near the ferry dock but there was a large line to wait. They must only have one gas pump. Plus road construction didn't help us. We had a jeep to return and a ferry to catch, so we decided to pay the rental fee for gas. I found out that the price for gas was $17.00 a gallon. Luckily I only needed one gallon. I will use Carlos Jeep Rental when I return to Culebra island.
