He arrived for his appointment on Dec 12, 2024 to be told it was cancelled on Nov 1, 2024 because Brite Smiles had decided to no longer be enrolled in the plan. We receive no call, no email, no card from them about this cancellation. To further comlicate their incompetence an appointment was made for me just a week and a half prior. Apparently, the reasoning behind this decision was cost-savings. Well, Brite Smiles just lost two customers, plus those enrolled in dentalplans.com. Beware!

They claim to treat children, but unfortunately, I did not feel that they had the patience or understanding necessary to properly care for a child with autism. What was even more frustrating was the communication between the offices. It took almost a full year for them to send my son's dental records/report to his new dentist. This caused unnecessary stress and made the transition to a new dental provider much more difficult. I expected a dental office that treats children to be patient, compassionate, and understanding of each child's individual needs. Unfortunately, that was not our experience, and I would not recommend this office to families looking for a provider who is truly prepared to work with children with special needs.

I have never been to a dental office who did not ensure that the service I was receiving (or my child) was covered. No one told me prior to the services as a courtesy and blamed me for not knowing clearly not verifying my insurance as I kNOW they are supposed to ahead of time. I called again as my son was having pain and informed them I still had the same insurance as last year AND a new Delta dental but I never received a card and asked if they could look it up as my personal dentist (adult dental) has done this for me to verify and simply got a "NO" you need to provide this information we will not look it up. I also had a balance that was previously in collections which I paid and was told they don't see it was paid so my child can not have his cracked tooth looked at. I spent a total of 1 minute tops using the information they texted me and was able to confirm I in fact had paid this balance so I highlighted and texted the number they provided showing I did unsure why they could not see what I found in 1 minute. I received NO response from them. I am so disappointed as I love the clinical staff and the doctor but the front desk staff is horribly rude and clearly not doing their job properly. ** The new office that got him in right away informed me they can absolutely look up our Delta Dental information with the subscribers information as can any dental office. **

My daughter is outgoing, well spoken, and friendly. However, of course a practitioner forcing their way into her mouth with no warning would be alarming!) ***The folks here in Millis worked with my child, made sure she was comfortable, repeatedly told her she was doing a great job, and let her do things like feel their gloves and masks with her fingers before going into her mouth. We were caught off guard, as traumatic, and were given a hasty explanation when it occurred. The follow-up communication was poor and at times argumentative. We switched providers for all our children after this experience and are still dealing with the aftermath. This was not the first negative experience with this practice. We should have switched earlier. Dr Morgan also told us on two occasions "that this has never happened in my career". Read the reviews here on google and on Yelp, and you will see a clear pattern of behavior. We rarely give reviews or complain, but we felt compelled after our experience.

I asked if the missed appt were based off this year?? they told me it was since he started going to Happy Teeth dental. They apparently base all missed appts since your child first starts attending. I'm trying to see if I can transfer over to a different dentistry.

After we were seated, forty minutes after our appointment time, an assistant asked whether nitrous oxide would be used, which I declined. The dentist then entered the room without washing her hands and did not introduce herself or confirm my son's identity. She did not explain that she intended to proceed with an extraction. She briefly referenced a "bite block" without clarifying the nature of the procedure. Without obtaining informed consent, the dentist administered Novocaine and exited the room, again without washing her hands. After the injection, an assistant presented an iPad for consent. I asked what I was being asked to sign and was told to "read the iPad." The dentist then returned and extracted the tooth. Post-procedure instructions were provided only after the extraction was completed. At no point prior to Novocaine administration or extraction was informed consent obtained. Additionally, I observed a lack of hand hygiene upon entry and exit, which was concerning as the dentist continued to see other patients. I raised these concerns during the visit. My feedback was dismissed and met with explanations rather than acknowledgment.
