I was granted a test drive and it drove as good as it looked with the very low miles it had on the clock. I got it for a price that was very comfortable and very acceptable. Extremely rude owner. Initially I had planned to purchase a vehicle but my mother had a bad fall and I found myself in a situation where I had to be with her at the hospital and to stay with her as she had a fractured hip. When she recovered and I noticed the vehicle was still for sale the owner went off on me saying that he no longer would finance me, he had no time to play games with people, that he only deals with people who have integrity, and to never contact his dealership again. There was no cause for him to instantly become so upset and lack empathy. After all, it wasn't as if he was holding the vehicle for me and turned away customers the pass 2 weeks. He simply held it overnight at closing time and I highly doubt there were people coming in at that time waiving 100 bills at him wanting to buy it and even if they had, I highly doubt he would have held it strictly because we had 1 phone call. read more

Overpriced and unprofessional. I reached out to him over the 4th of July weekend about a truck I found on auto trader that I was interested in. Auto Trader basically flagged it that the listed price was not fair and had this Kelly blue book value pop up when I clicked their Fair Market Range. When I asked if the price was negotiable ($10k for a 22 year old truck with 205k miles on it), his response was "You haven't even seen it yet. You may want to offer me more then I have advertised it for and say thank you". Disgusting response. I will be making sure to tell everyone NOT to do business here! I haven't even stepped foot on the property and he's already trying to get me to pay more for an overpriced vehicle. NO THANK YOU!!! read more

We just purchased our 2nd used car from JOE. Our first car was around 6 or 7 years ago. We've been looking for an affordable SUV or small truck for my parents for approximately 3 months which is almost impossible these days and since we live in WPB I restricted my search to 10 miles of my location. I exhausted every avenue. Facebook Marketplace, used dealers, private owners, auctions...it was exhausting. Everyone wants top dollar for their 15 year old car with visible and not so visible cosmetic and mechanical problems. I finally decided to give Uzdcarz a call and Joe did not disappoint. One a side note about Joe: He provides the CARFAX on his vehicles for free. No other small used dealer gives you a CARFAX, basically because they don't want you to find out what's wrong with the car, such as Salvage Titles, car accidents, how many owners or if the mileage has been tampered with. CARFAX GUARANTEES THEIR REPORT, which means they will buy the car back from you if there is a defect in the title. Joe answered all of our questions and concerns and he's honest. He's picky about the cars he buys because he wants to sell you a good car and his cars are stored in his warehouse, not outdoors. However, let's not forget you are buying a used car and used cars need work from time to time. Our first car had the normal wear and tear issues that all cars have but never gave us any major problems. I expect no less this time around. I am so grateful to Joe. I was pressed for time and purchased a car quickly without much inspection, so overlooking/missing the issues with the car is partly on me. Still, the salesman wouldn't come down on price and given all the problems with the vehicle, I was overcharged significantly. Body is in good shape no dents no scratches etc. Within a couple days, i noticed the passenger side mirror doesn't work adjust, nor does the passenger side window, the console latch is broken, the driver side mirror is crack and jiggles around anytime i go over a bump and will probably eventually fall off if I don't get it fixed. Biggest issue is the AC stopped blowing cold air within about a month and I'm now being told the compressor is faulty and needs to be replaced. The price would have been mostly reasonable if I didn't have to get all of these things fixed. read more

I looked at a used Ford at UZScarz and spoke to Joe (owner) who was very unfriendly. Treating us like criminals for asking him to come down on a price because the cars four break pads had to be replaced and the rear hatch didn't work, making it a hazard. We tried to reason with Joe about the fact that we would have to pay $400.00 for breaks and $100 repairing the rear hatch. He offered a $50 discount and added that he offered no type of guarantee afterwards for a used car nor that any used car lot would offer any guarantee either. This is incorrect. We eventually found a dealer willing to negotiate with us and are happy with our vehicle. I would not suggest Joe at all. He is an opportunist and a bully. read more

Honorable and caring I happen to be living on disability he worked with me in every possible way he could. I appreciate everything he did for me. Purchased a 2000 Tahoe Z71 which was described by Joe (owner) as "great shape inside/out, no leaks, drops, everything works properly." On Saturday, May 6th and within one day of ownership, the Check Engine Light comes on: P0430. Truckn was only driven about 10 miles when the light came on. Truck is driven to an auto service shop and tell me the catalytic coverter is bad. It needs to be replaced and I am quoted $400-$600 parts and labor (depending if I want one cat). I emailed Joe and he responded by saying he "would NOT assist in any repairs." He stated to me that I should "seek another opinion." On Monday, May 8th I drove the truck to another auto service shop here in my town. Immediately upon stopping, I notice coolant leaking from the engine. The service manager greeted me and informed me it was coming from the radiator. Now I'm told the radiator has developed a leak and cannot be welded and must be replaced. The cost $375. On top of the original estimate now this. It seems as though I was sold a money pit. It's going to take upwards $1000 to make this truck right. The owner refuses to take responsibility and assist in any shape or form. I was told by the service advisor that it is a common tactic of used car dealers to clear the CEL codes to hide those problems from buyers. Please do not buy a car from this place. Joe was incredibly helpful throughout the entire time I did business with him. I financed a car directly through him in December 2015. The car was reasonably priced and in excellent condition. Throughout the duration of the finance period I never had any issues getting ahold of him for questions and he made payment options very easy. I've since refereed three friends to buy cars from Joe and all of them have had similar experiences. - with a lot of car dealers you find they really don't care about anything but their bottom line- Uzdcarz was the exception to this. I wish we'd found Joe at the beginning of our search for a used F150 (over a month ago, and at least 80 vehicles and 80 awful, awful AWFUL experiences ago) - from vehicles for sale by private sellers that turn out to be dealers, where the vehicles are in terrible state, from lies about the sales price - we'd call ahead or text, get the cash price IN WRITING - drive all the way there, to find oh, that's the FINANCE price, the cash price is $4,000 MORE! Even though we'd got it confirmed in writing - to dealers with $1000 dealer fees - vehicles in such disrepair, and so overpriced - when the engine is squealing loudly and being told, oh that's nothing, just cosmetic - no air conditioning at all - oh that's just a $20 fix at any mechanic (liar!) - it's been a horrible experience. We'd almost given up after many sleepless nights and emotional upset (which happens when you get lied to day after day after day). We just happened across Uzdcarz - and wow, what a breath of fresh air and Joe - no high pressure sales pitch, no lies about the state of the vehicle, just an honest, knowledgeable dealer who had a good, clean F150 at the right price - he didn't refuse to let us take it to a mechanic to get inspected (like a lot of dealers) - he was very happy for us to do it and made it as easy as possible. Our mechanic of choice (Midas in Pompano - absolutely excellent if you're looking for vehicle inspections) said it was in good condition, a couple of issues (not surprising for a 2006 truck), but it was a slam dunk - Joe made it SO easy - went through the carfax in detail - patient - took his time with us - no pressure. I can't believe what a GOOD experience it was with him - - we bought the truck - and from now on, we will ONLY buy from him - he's HONEST, not a high pressure salesman - he cares about his customers and wants them to be happy with the vehicle they buy.
