We called on V. Mendoza roofing twice and followed through with hiring him after I found out my roofing skills were sub-par. I spent a lot of time doing what I thought was right chasing a roof leak. Within 10 minutes of walking the roof and inside my dining room he told me I was looking in the wrong place. He returned the morning of the next day. Our old house was leaking from the crazy storms we had. V. Mendoza was recommended by our neighborhood Facebook page along with my aunt who has used them in the past. They were very flexible with our availability. The price was fair. They actually quoted me higher than what we actually paid. They did the job pretty quick. We met one of the employees and he was really personable. Everything was done either through, phone, text and email. Their work passed city inspection without any problems. I inspected the roof with my drone and the work looks great. They even added metal attic vents which we weren't expecting. They replaced our gutters also. From what I could see from my cameras the workers were very professional and nothing weird going on which is good since we were at work most of the time. The whole process was easy and the work was done well. I would recommend them anytime. The only thing I can say bad is that sometimes they wouldn't respond to emails or texts. They would eventually get to answering them but when it costs a lot and I don't want any hickups with the payments I just wanted a response within a day or two. It's important to read the fine lines, and know exactly what is getting done in the estimate. We just Love Vicente. Love that this is his business with Pride of ownership and workmanship. He was very honest with what we needed to get done, and that to me is golden. We weren't treated like a cookie cutter customer, because not every house will have the same needs for roof replacement. I currently went solar and had been recommended to do it with them. To pay for roof and gutters is a large amount of money. They left my gutter hanging out so water can flow onto my cement and not outside of the perimeter. I had screws from old gutters still stuck on it and left area with holes i needed to seal. Many dirty spots that was left there after they put in the new gutters. Who knows how the roof was completed. read more

We recently used V Mendoza Roofing as they recently completed another house in our neighborhood and we heard / saw great things. We wanted to highlight not only are they responsive, but also good communication. The crew worked hard in 90 degree weather being on time both mornings and ending the day with a huge amount of work completed. These guys not only worked fast, but quality as well. Two days total for removing old roof/gutters/down spouts, non-working satellite, and turbines, replacing plywood where necessary, installing new roof with the color we wanted/needed as well as the high quality shingles we wanted. They also installed new gutters/down spouts matching the paint directly with our house. The crew did a great job cleaning up during /after they were done as well. Finishing touches were done on day 3 to make sure they got all the details. We got quotes from 3 other roof companies when we were doing our research and I find it important to note V Mendoza was right where everyone else was, if not more in the middle of the pack, which makes them more valuable not being the most expensive roofer out there just because of a name. They were also able to get us in during very busy /high demand season/2021. We were in high need of a new roof and we didn't have to wait 6 months. Wish I could give more then 2 stars unfortunately I cannot. The showed up and started working the second day 30 minutes before the permit allowed and blocked the driveway making it impossible to pull the vehicle out of the garage. Then when they finally finish working they left a satellite dish hanging off the side of the roof by a cable causing a safety issue for my children. When i first contacted them about the dish I was told they would get someone out. Over 3 hours later no one came back so I called. The person I spoke to then was very rude all because I'm not the "owner" of the house. I called the owner and showed them the pictures of the satellite dish hanging as well as of a cable that they cut when redoing the patio. He agreed with me that what they did was not right and it needed fixed. I currently have an unsafe area in my backyard until the satellite company can come out and reinstall the dish because this company refused to do anything except leave it hanging. I will never recommend this company to anyone and would never use them myself once I purchase my own home. The only reason I was nice and gave 2 stars is because the roof itself looks great. read more

Had some problems with leaking pipe vents in the roof. Have been trying to get this issue fixed for over 3 weeks now. Everybody that i called either doesn't call me back, or if they do they blow me off and never show up when they say they will. Called Valente at 8a this morning, told him the problem i was having. he was at my house late afternoon and had my issue resolved in about 30 minutes. and for a fair and reasonable price. Also gave me a better idea of what a new Roof may cost to get put in, though assured me that is at least several years down the road.
