Contacted them for an estimate for some roof repairs (we had an inspection a couple months ago and wanted a second estimate for the repairs) as well as gutter cleaning. I emailed the inspection report to them when we scheduled their estimate visit. They sent someone out who looked at the roof and said they couldn't go up there to inspect because the roof material (metal) wouldn't support his weight (despite the roof material being clearly stated in the report I sent them ahead of time and the previous inspector walking around up there no problem). The person they sent said neither he nor anyone else at the company received the inspection report I sent so I re-emailed it while he was here and he did a cursory inspection by walking around the house (i.e., not actually getting on the roof). He said they'd send an estimate within 5 business days. That was 13 calendar days ago, or about 8 or 9 business days ago, and I haven't heard anything since then. read more

I noticed that other roofing companies were not as thorough in cleaning up after the job, not Bailey's crew! Great contractor to work with! Nick Bailey communicated and kept me up to date throughout the entire process. His crew was kind and courteous and extremely hardworking. They cleaned up each day and did a great job of maintaining a safe and clean jobsite at my home. They did run into some unforeseen conditions with the underlayment/plywood after they pulled off the 2 layers of old shingles that were on the roof. The plywood was 60 years old, thin and brittle. Nick contacted me immediately, negotiated and very fair price, purchased new plywood and had his crew installing immediately. This prolonged my project a couple of days but Bailey's kept a full crew and worked through this challenge with ease. I now have the confidence and peace of mind that I have a good, solid roof along with new shingles, roof caps and vents painted to match. They even pulled down an old antenna and satellite dishes and disposed for me at no added cost. I also had new gutters installed and they look amazing! 10/10 for Nick and his entire crew! Rating based on poor follow through. Contacted them for an estimate, sent someone out 3 days later (a Friday). Inspected, wrote a bunch of notes, took pictures, said "I'll send you an estimate in next couple of days". I waited 4 days, called and was told "we only send estimates out on Fridays", so I gave job to one of the other two providers that gave me same day estimates. Would have been nice if Nick had told me when he was here, 'it'll be a week before I can get you an estimate', I would have saved him the effort and both of us the time. read more

I was skeptical after reading the reviews but they are true, most definitely the most difficult company to get a proposal with yet alone a phone call, the person who answers is useless and says she will forward the information. I was informed it takes 2 to 3 business days to respond. I requested a proposal October 4th through Yelp and didn't get one until October 20th I replied to the email October 21st with a follow up request and have yet to get a response. I attempted text email and call with no luck. As much as the company sounds promising on their quotes regardless of how "busy" it is that isn't a valid excuse. After noticing some leaks in my roof this winter, I began gathering quotes and doing research. While I spoke with many roofing companies, I only requested quote from three.It's worth mentioning that many roofing companies I spoke with were hesitant to work on my roof since my roof is flat and many others did not offer a warranty on their flat roofs. First impression about this company was good, they seemed know what they were doing, and showed friendly attitude and good communications. However, they do have quality problems. For example, there was a loose spot on the roof, and the downspout kick is too close to the ground, see picture below, which I am communicating with them to fix it. Answer to the reply from owner: 1. Sprinkler You kept telling me that you repaired broken sprinklers for free. My tenants told me a different story: they were broken because of careless work you did. 2. Permit envelop You told me that my tenants took the envelope even you told him leave it there, so that it caused you additional hours. But my tenants told me no one told them like that. I suggest that you communicate with my tenants to straight that out. Common sense told me that my tenants have no rights to force you to do something. read more

One side of my (steep and high-up) roof was looking pretty battered. I was afraid I might need an entirely new roof--a $15,000 proposition. Whenever there was a strong wind, shingles flew off. Nick came out and took a look. (By the way, this was during Covid-19 lockdown, and he wore a mask and all, which I appreciated) Anyway, Nick said most of the roof was fine, and that he could repair the badly weathered part for $950. Deal. Because it's a busy time, there were a couple of delays, but Nick let me know what was going on, so the delay was no problem. When he was able to send out a couple guys to do the work, they painted all the vents free of charge, to make up for the delay. Tuesday, Nick call me and left a message that he has an opening to do the measurements the next day. I called him back to confirmed and agreed to schedule the measurements on the next day Wednesday from 9am-11am. On the day of the appointment, NO ONE SHOWED UP!! I hired Nick and team to replace my 30 year old wood shake roof. Best decision I ever made. They came out prior to install temporary wood shingles until the project could get started, these were to prevent any more leaks. No charge for this. Once project began, his foreman checked in daily with me to see if any questions or concerns I may have. The team cleaned up every day very meticulously with blower and magnet on a rod to pick up any loose metal nails, etc. They even brought my garbage cans in for me on garbage day! With the previous rainstorm and those coming, it seemed like every roofing company was unavailable. Nick responded to my Yelp request within a few hours and he was able to get his crew out the same day. They fixed the leak as well as other work done improperly by the previous roofing contractor. They worked non stop for hours to fix the roof. They were very thorough and actually looked for the leak from the inside by tapping on the ceiling where the leak was located while someone on the roof was tracking the sound and locating the cause of the leak. No other roofing contractor we've hired has ever done that. They just tried guessing the roof location based upon the leak location. They also cleaned out all the gutters around the house and resealed all the heat and plumbing jacks for the entire house as well.
