Recently changed nail salon because my nail technician Tina moved here. One can have a subpar nail salon with an excellent technician and it will keep you returning. But this is not the case here, atmosphere is tranquil and relaxing with the spa type music they play. I sat in front of their water fall sign and it was nice to hear the water drops with the music. The pedicure chairs look new. It's comfy and the Intensity is firm. There's kneading, percussion and roll out features. I love that they use plastic to cover the feet bowl. Better for sanitation purposes. I got the basic pedigree and manicure. Massage was amazing. Again Tina is skilled in getting those ingrown skin out and using the foot file tool to shave of those hard dead skin. She also is great with light conversation!!! The only downfall is at the manicure side you can you can hear the Orange Theory music through the walls. It didn't bother me. read more

This place did not disappoint. I walked in around 9:30 in the morning & took a chance on their services based on reviews. I was greeted with a warm welcome & seen by Alicia right away. She took great care of me, suggesting colors for my nails for an upcoming event and did a fantastic job on my pedicure and gel mani. She took her time. It was a relaxing experience. I also appreciated the fact that most of the techs spoke English with oeach other, which you don't find often. Additionally, they use single pack, sanitized tools for each client, as well as single use files--a plus. I think I got my nails done by a chick named Jen! I really didn't like the way how she rushed doing my nails and was being so rough. I asked for a specific design and got something so different. If she couldn't do it from the beginning why continue. I was given a $5 off coupon the first time I came but I wasn't able to redeem it because the lady was rushing me. And she took the coupon but didn't apply my discount. The first Time I came my nails were done by a guy and he was super friendly and took his time to do my nails the way I wanted it. My daughter and I stopped by as walk-ins for a mani/pedi and spa pedicure earlier this week. We were offered drinks and promptly seated and allowed to review the menu of services before deciding what to have done. Both of our nail technicians did an excellent job and took their time to make sure we were happy. We both had gel french nail treatments done and they are holding up well and look great. First- the spa is really clean and tidy!!! They have so many polish choices and do not push for extra services. We all had wonderful pedicures with relaxing messages!!! Have been coming here for a while now for special occasions but I've recently been coming in every 2-3 weeks regularly. The first time I came back here my nails were perfect. The length and the shape of the acrylic was on point but the second time I came here my nails weren't smooth at all. They were bumpy and too thin. When I brought this concern to my nail tech on the next trip she blamed it on the matte coat they use. She said it wasn't good and to get them shiny next time. On that same trip I decided to try something new and get gel nails with acrylic and left so unhappy. She didn't shape it good at all and left the corners so pointy and uneven that I almost cut myself while washing all the powder off from filing. When I told the tech she got really annoyed and told the other tech sitting next to her. After she applied the gel color I asked her if she could clean the edges up since they looked so messy (like my 8 year old niece painted my nails.) At this point she got really annoyed and told me that I should've told her I wanted a manicure because my cuticles needed to be cut. Her explanation made no sense to me since she avoided the topic all together. After she finished destroying my cuticles trying to clean up the mess she made, she stood up and left me at the table while she waited at the front desk. Never would I ever refer anyone here again or come back here. read more

I initially wrote a bad review for this salon - the nail technician did not understand what type of manicure I wanted so I had a really bad experience. After posting the review, I got a call from the manager who apologized for the miscommunication and wanted to make it right. I wasn't able to make it back to get the right type of manicure but they issued me a gift card so I can go back when I return to Florida. I honestly wanted to like this place as I saw good reviews and its closer to my house than my usual spot. But the lady who did my nails was incredibly odd. When she did my pedicure, she cut a toe nail way too short that it hurt my toe and when I left the salon, I noticed it had a scar.. I was also told that I get to choose the type of pedicure like in terms of lotion,,, she just handed on over the lavender... not that it makes it difference, but when it states I get to choose and I don't.. then it does. Also, I usually get gel but I want a break fro gel. the lady was pushing me to get gel or the dip nail polish and after I kept insisting no, she got a little annoyed from what I could tell. Then she wanted me to pay prior to nail polish application, which is fine, but I am assuming she didn't like my tip. but honestly, I left a very well amount. She then applied nail polish quickly and was rather upset when I asked her where I can dry my nails. Overall, I am not going to come back and I will stick to my extra 15 minute drive to Millenia area when for the same price, I get treated well. read more

I went there a few times. The last time while I was waiting another customer was trying to pay and leave in order to catch her bus to get to work on time. The Manager was having trouble with his credit machine and the customer didn't have cash. He made her miss her bus because he wouldn't let her leave without paying. I would have given her a free manicure or told her to pay next time. I won't go back because that shows me the manager doesn''t have his customers best interest in the forefront. I love V Nails! I am very picky about how my nails are done and I love working with the staff here. I have found only a few nail artists around town that can do traditional pink and white acrylic to my expectations. V Nails does the best! I also like that the manager is actively involved to make sure customers are happy with their experience. They also have a nice rewards program that is an extra benefit for returning customers! Horrible. Toe nail chipped from my pedicure and I stopped in to get it fixed, and the technician wanted to argue with me about the color I had painted them! I owned the color myself and had just ran out so was pleased to see it on my first visit there. I am very familiar with the color. She wanted to paint the nail some orange pinkish, and continued to disagree with me on what color I had painted them. I got up and walked out and now will have to go and buy the damn polish because I want my day old pedicure fixed... Dumb. read more
