I'm used to the foo foo massages and this was quite the opposite. The guy massaging me got my muscles warmed up just enough and went to town. I was in such a need of a massage and this definitely did the trick. I was already sore going into the place and I knew it was going to hurt and it did, but I am feeling much more refreshed today. Vitality Spa is fantastic. The people who work there are kind and attentive and skilled. Incredibly relaxing and effective. The pricing is better than fair for the customer, which includes their suggested tips. I don't have a problem giving a $20 tip when the massage rate is so good--all told, it's still a better deal than anywhere else you could go for the quality. It is hard, physical work, and even when I have gone right before closing, they always still apply the same intensity despite likely being exhausted and sore themselves after a whole day of doing it. read more

My husband who often has sore feet due to his profession and myself wanting some reflexology on my feet after surgery decided to try Vitality. My husband found them on yelp, and based on their great reviews he made us an appointment. We arrived to a dimly lit space with many massage chairs and tables, they had soft music playing - offered us hot green tea as they busied getting the foot soak prepared. Within minutes they had us both soaking out feet in very warm water as they massaged our temples, necks, shoulders, arms and hands. I was much relaxed by the time she begin the foot massage which was truly outstanding. Every kink and stress point in my feet were worked out - nothing was overlooked or neglected! All I wish was we had scheduled longer (but, a 45 minute foot massage really should be plenty) it just was that good, I didn't want it to end! OMG, this place was heaven! I'm not about the ritz and the glam of spas. I prefer a place where the masseuse knows how to work out my knots. I went on a Sunday morning when they just opened. The service they claim to provide is just wrong on so many levels and I received a very offensive "massage" where the guy decides to take his open hands and proceed from my neck down my back over my f-en ass down to my hamstrings and back as he practically laid on top of me ....OPEN HANDED!!! So disgusting and so inappropriate!!! My body is a mess now. I'm very active and tried to workout and can't breathe because my ribs are all jammed up and won't expand. I received a beating and it's not acceptable. These places should not be in business, not professional, not trained, and learn how to speak English DAVID or PETER...funny they have "American" names and don't speak a word of English. I like to come here for the reflexology. I had a few surgeries on my leg and it helps with the muscles spasms/cramps. They are very nice, its easy to get an appointment, it is very clean and comfortable. It is important to communicate if the pressure is too much or it hurts. I would let them know if you have any sensitive or soar areas ahead of time. You cannot beat the price. The area can be a little sketchy at night as it is located on Federal and Alameda. I would come during the day if you can. Also wear comfortable clothes. read more

I love this place! I have been coming here for years. Off and on, I try other places but I always end up back here because I never find a better massage. The massages offered here are very much the traditional Chinese style and may seem different if you are used to the Swedish massage that's more common around here. The obvious difference is the communal room and clothes on massage. The massage itself tends to be harder pressure with different movements than other styles. They stretch your limbs and beat on you a bit (in a good way). One of the ladies even got on the table once to get a better angle. They are serious about working out your knots! I love the reflexology portion of the massage too. There's something about soaking my feet that just melts my stress away. I would advice against this type of massage for people with injuries. Communication can be a bit spotty and the pressure can be quite intense. Personally, I love the strong pressure and lack of awkward conversation but explaining sensitive areas can be a challenge. I used to always get the 75 min combo but have since moved on to the 90 min combo. Both are an amazing deal. I have made appointments before (a good idea if you are a group) but usually I just come on a whim by myself and have never had to wait to get in. I was first attracted by the price but have continued to coming regularly for years because of the quality. read more

This place is great if you want no frills massage. There is an earlier review trashing it and it sounds as though they were after a spa experience which this place is not. It is very comfortable, you are served tea and every masseuse there has been friendly to me. It is in a group setting and so you will hear the phone ring and the door open. That said It is an amazing deal and if you can't shell out a ton of money for a massage it really does the trick. The massage therapists know what they are doing and I personally love the soaking my feet in a bucket of hot water part. Pressure can be hard but I enjoy this and have always walked away feeling great after a massage here. Go here if you are adventurous and want a great massage and you will love it. I recently messed up my back during weight training and needed to see somebody fast. Just got a 30 minute massage and I felt 100 times better! The staff generally give amazing massages and are very direct - its not a spa environment with smelly private rooms (which is not really my style) or staff who whisper in your ear but they do amazing work and are real professionals who get the job done. Highly recommend if you have kinks or pulled muscles or are looking for a massage with no muss. read more

I only discovered this spa after visiting this shopping center with an out of town guest during a kung fu seminar. I had only been to one or two other places for massages (mostly Massage Envy) and this one blew all of them out of the water. I got their Combo 2 service which started with a 45 minute foot reflexology session followed by a 30 minute full body session. It was really great not to have to worry about getting undressed and making sure everything was covered. Not only was it one of the best massage sessions I've ever had, they really got into a lot of places that I've had trouble getting other masseuses to work on (hips and glutes). I don't think I'll be going back to a Western style massage place any time soon. This was way better in both experience and price. read more

Completely disagree with above post. Went there yesterday and had a great experience. I paid $30 for a 1-hour combo foot and back massage, which is a great deal. The decor might not be up-to-the- minute groovy cool, but it's a clean and tidy space and not ugly. By the way, the staff is Vietnamese, not Chinese, and I thought they were all very professional and very nice. I love a deep-tissue massage, but if it got painful at times, I just signaled to my therapist and he let up on the pressure. My treatments were done with me fully clothed. I would recommend this to anyone who might avoid massages because they are nervous about disrobing. I will be going back to Vitality again! read more

Mi lady and I visited at 10:30am on a Saturday and they slotted us right in (check in at the office on the upper left- we were treated in the office on the upper right, a bit smaller). Went for the 30/30 deal for $30. Reflexology was a solid chair massage while feet soaked, then an intense foot massage- a real doozy! We were in side by side chairs. Then they propped us up and walked us down the hallway to two simple massage tables, we disrobed (me to my drawers, my lady stayed in her clothes) and they placed a partial sheet on us and administered a vigorous massage. Serious pressure and use of elbows, etc. Thorough and very complimentary to the reflexology. After it was over we were offered a small cup of tea and walked back over to the main room (many communal massage tables FYI) to pay by credit card. Next time- bring cash to make it easy for everyone:) overall a really excellent experience. read more

This place is the best foot spa in Denver, and I've been to most, if not all, of them. You start and end with a cup of hot tea and I always hear the therapists wash and scrub their hands after they work your feet and before they work on your face and head, which I appreciate infinitely. I've never asked for light pressure so I can't make a recommendation for the faint of heart, but if you are looking for classic Chinese Reflexology, you won't be let down. I took my two daughters to this place because I heard it was great and I wanted to surprise one for her birthday (she had never had a massage before). My other daughter has had massages many times and so have I. We did the combo #1 with the 1/2 hour foot massage and the 1/2 hour body massage. I have to say, mine was good. The gentleman seemed to know what he was doing although he was a little too agressive at times but overall, a good experience. The daughter I took there for her birthday thought her massage was great too. She said she was a little skeptical because of the location and the appearance of the establishment (not fancy at all, simple but nice). As soon as we left, my other daughter burst into tears and said it was the worst massage she has ever had!! She said the man who did her massage was extremely rough and painful, more like jabbing and poking than massage. She was in extreme pain when we left and I felt terrible. I asked her why she didn't say anything, and she said she told him it was hurting but he did not lessen his force. I had seen him working on another client when we first arrived and I thought he looked a little rough. My daughter was literally traumatized. I went back in to talk with the woman and all she kept say was "I'm sorry, I'm sorry". I don't think she knew what else to say. My daughter said the man was not skilled in any way - it was obvious he didn't know how to give a massage. I don't plan on returning any time soon. read more
