If I can give it a 0 I would!! before I went in. I called to see if they did gel nails. I was told yes, so I made the appointment and specifically told them I wanted my old gel nails removed and to do a new full set with one nail being extended. so I went in and the original person who started to take off my nails, decided that she was going to remove the gel that was sitting on top of my nails with another fake nail instead of buffing it off and putting acetone on it like they normally do. I asked what she was doing and was told that as long as it didn't hurt me, I was fine yet I can see the top of my nails being ripped off onto the gel because of the way she was removing it. once I said something, she decided she was no longer doing my nails, so I was passed on to the owner now being the owner. I thought I was in good hands. Well, I thought wrong! he tried to let me know that the powder he wanted to use on my nails was gel when in fact, it was not and they had to show him what gel actually is. He then proceeded to take off my old gel and didn't give me any sort of manicure my cuticles were not pushed back or anything. He put on a layer of no chip clear base before starting the gel! if anyone has ever gotten their nails done, they know that is a big no no and I said something right away. he insisted this was the way to do it so I let him and now it's been two weeks later and the gel has completely fallen off my nail my nail has broken and the no chip base coat is still on my nail. so unless you're going in for a typical manicure or no chip manicure, I probably would not go here. read more

I was told a fill in would be $40. I had one missing nail. I was charged $73. I understand design and gel cost extra but $3 for one nail is absurd. The nails fell off less than a week and they were transparent so you could see my actual nail underneath the acrylic. read more

Disappointed in my service from Long. Reading the positive reviews I was shocked because he didn't speak to me at all during my appointment and seemed to be irritated with me. It was weirdly tense and not relaxing at all. He also used the sanding band on my natural nails and cut my skin several times without apologizing. I had to pull alway a few times because it hurt. He also was reading texts from his phone WHILE buffing my nails. My cuticles are still sore. I've never been this unhappy with a nail service, so I will not be returning. read more

First time customer... and will definitely be returning! Had a spa pedicure with Vivian and it was great! Has a good conversation with her all while I received an excellent service. They are taking COVID precautions as best they can. All the spaces and stations were very clean and the place looked beautiful! Didn't have to stand around searching for my color... they provided swatches for me to look through. They spaced customers out appropriately and I felt comfortable the entire time. They were never pushy about upgrading my service or adding to my service, as I've experienced at other places. I can't wait to return! read more

My usual places weren't able to take walk-ins so I tried V Star Nail spa but I won't be back. My pedicure was great and lasted several weeks before chipping but the same nail technician did my manicure and did the most horrible job. She applied such thick layers of nail polish and top coat that my nails bubbled immediately and took hours to dry (which means several of them were smooshed or had imprints on them because who has 3-4 hours to sit still and let their nails dry?). I could've easily done a better job of painting my own finger nails and I was very annoyed that I had paid for a professional manicure that was that terrible. The inconsistency was confusing because, again, the pedicure was well done and lasted well over a month. I was disappointed with my visit, for sure. read more

Been back maybe 3 times in last year and a half. Definitely not the best in the area for nail service. There is a younger girl whose been there awhile who is great at pedis. Never been overly impressed with dip mani which is my go to. Not a great color selection either. read more

My friend and I had an appointment at 5:30pm, we get there, pick out our color, and nobody acknowledged us for 40 minutes. Nobody came and told us how long it would be or they appreciate us waiting considering we had an appointment scheduled. We decided to leave and as we get up still nobody acknowledges us. The first time we went my friend got a pedicure and the woman did the service so quickly which wouldn't be an issue but her pedicure chipped within a week. This business has poor customer service etiquette. Needless to say, we will not be doing business with them anymore. read more
