What had happened was that I had bought a new laptop from LG (~9 months ago) and its' performance was just so weirdly slow from the time I brought it home. In particular, the proxy setting just would not turn off no matter how many times I disabled it. Plus, the PC performance was horrifically slow. Not a good sign and I did a lot of malware scans with no luck on finding any issue. Finally, I got fed up and, after a bit of research, I found Allstate. The guy at the repair shop was super nice and attentive to my observations. The end result was excellent - all the issues were fixed (proxy and computer speed) and my PC is as it should be - fast and efficient and it has been 3 months of excellent performance. Repair price was okay too. Total recommend.

I looked up local PC Repair spots and Allstates Computers had a very high rating and more importantly was actually open on the weekend unlike most of the other independent PC repair places I saw online. I came in without an appointment and John got right to work on helping me diagnose my problem. He tried a few tools to get a sense of what the problem could be, talked me through the various levels of repair that we could go down, and sent me home with an initial fix that hopefully solves it without me having to buy a whole new rig. All around great service and appreciate him taking the extra time to get me an answer then and there vs just having me drop it off and then having to wait for a response. If I do end up needing to upgrade to a new system, John said he also does custom PC assembly so know where I'll be going when the time comes.

I noticed an issue with the screen and wasn't sure what to expect, but they honored their warranty without any hassle or pushback whatsoever. No charge, no runaround -- just great customer service. They got straight to work and had everything fixed in under an hour while I sat in the store, connected to their Wi-Fi, and knocked out work on my laptop like I was at a coffee shop. Honestly, the fact that they stand behind their work so confidently is what's going to keep me coming back. It's rare to find a repair shop that's both fast AND trustworthy. Highly recommend!

I had to be the one to call and follow up to find out what was going on. Communication was the biggest issue. It was very difficult to speak directly with the technician working on the console, and I received different information depending on who I spoke with. It seemed like the staff wasn't on the same page, which made the process frustrating and confusing. I understand that repairs can take time, but I was specific in only requesting a cleaning so there was no need to keep my console for days on end for "diagnostics". Keeping customers informed and having consistent communication would go a long way toward improving the overall experience.

Then I found this Yelp review that talking about this store repair man consulted/discussed with the customer about the customer's computer. I thought "that's it! That's what I wanted!" Tony-san the owner of the store was considerate, knowledgeable, experienced with computer repairing and what is more...he was fare to the customers and professional. I felt beyond satisfied...it is like more impressive. Thank you very much Tony-san! I recommend you to several of my friends. They'll come to see you when they need your help with their computer. English review first. Japanese version follows below…read more I am writing this review with great disappointment, as I had been a customer for approximately six years and would like to share my personal experience. I had relied on this business not only for my personal computers, but also for computers used at a company where I previously worked. Because of that, I trusted the owner and continued to use his services for many years. I am not an IT enthusiast, nor am I a gamer. I use my computer mainly for everyday tasks such as email, internet browsing, Word, and Excel. When it became necessary to replace my computer, I was recommended an older Mac running Linux Mint. During our discussions, I repeatedly heard negative comments about Microsoft and Apple, while Linux Mint was strongly promoted. However, I felt that more emphasis was placed on the advantages of Linux Mint than on understanding my actual needs and intended use. The following day, I spoke with the owner and told him that I intended to purchase the computer. During that conversation, I was informed for the first time that the screen had a yellow tint. Because of that, I said that I wanted to see the computer in person before making a final decision. However, when I arrived at the store, my data had already been transferred to the computer. Since I do not have a technical background, I felt uncomfortable deciding not to purchase a computer that already contained my personal data, so I went ahead with the purchase. After I started using the computer, I experienced several issues: * Frequent internet connection problems * A keyboard that did not function properly * Excessive heat from the computer (it became noticeably hot within about 10 minutes of startup, even when no applications were being used) When I reported the overheating issue, I was told that it was normal for the computer to get hot. When I explained that the keyboard was not functioning properly, I was told that the keyboard was "working." However, I did not consider the computer to be functioning normally for regular use. In addition, many files in my Documents folder were missing after the data transfer. I was told that the cause was the failure of my original computer. However, other data was transferred successfully, and as a result, I lost many document files from my Documents folder. The owner ultimately accepted the return of the computer. However, the data transfer fee became another point of disappointment. I was initially told that the fee would be reduced to $40 because I had been a long-time customer. After I returned the computer, I was charged $75 and told that the discount had only applied if I purchased the computer. What disappointed me most was not the computer itself, but the way the situation was handled afterward. Problems and mistakes can happen in any business. However, I did not feel that this situation was handled in a sincere or customer-focused manner. As someone who had trusted and used this business for many years, the experience was extremely disappointing. If you are considering purchasing a used computer, I strongly recommend carefully checking its condition and functionality before making a final decision.
