I had such a great experience at Rapid Mobile Repair! I actually found this business on Yelp, and James was the only person who called me back after I left a message. He even apologized for missing my call, which immediately showed me how much he values his customers. That level of professionalism and care is hard to find these days. I have never needed to find a mobile repair shop because I keep my phones in pristine condition but I did need to upgrade from my 64GB SE but did not want to pay for a new phone. In my search for a refurbished phone with genuine Apple parts and a new battery, I went to the usual suspects, Amazon, Swappa, Ebay, BackMarket but after having to return two phones that were supposed to be in Mint condition when they were in fact defective and after reading a ton of reviews on each of those sites that made me feel hopeless, I had a thought that maybe these repair places would have used phones that they refurbished themselves and if it's a reputable place, then they would offer a warranty and I could easily get it repaired if needed. So after searching on Google and Yelp, I came across 3-4 places in the South Bay that had terrific reviews so I reached out to each of them to ask if they had any used SE 3rd Gen or 13 minis iPhones for sale. No one but James got back to me and he did in fact have one the phone and he confirmed it would be in "like new" condition with a new Apple battery. So I went to the store today and like everyone said, James is the NICEST FRIENDLIEST guy. and during the time I was there, I witnessed his interaction with 5 other customers, treating each one with the utmost courtesy and respect. And nearly all said to me that they have been coming here for years. WOW ... This is one of the best business examples I've ever had. I brought my iPhone in because the camera would not focus, kept shaking, and was making some grinding noise. James said he knew exactly what it was. He said It would take approximately an hour to an hour and 15 minutes to fix it. 25 minutes later, he brought it out repaired and also put on a new screen cover on the phone at no charge Now, my iPad sound stops periodically. I have to do a hard reboot to get the sound working again. I hope it's only a one day visit at this "hospital" and that I will be able to bring at home the same day repaired. Charging port connection has never felt better after the clean! Phone feels absolutely brand new now. And they automatically replaced my phone screen protector (replace and install) since it had a scratch on, all included in the initial price!
