    Thank you for this opportunity to praise the staff at the Murrieta VA clinic. My experience was fantastic. I have worked with the audio Dept. before and have always been more then satisfied with the service. My recent 10/8/24 and first appointment with my new primary, Dr. Pathak was outstanding. From the moment I arrived, it was clear my grandmother was in the hands of absolute professionals who genuinely care. Grace is the kind of nurse every hospital should strive to clone--knowledgeable, calm, attentive, compassionate, and incredibly thorough. She took the time to explain everything clearly, answered every question with patience, and treated my grandmother with dignity, warmth, and respect at all times. Her bedside manner is truly exceptional. Nilo was equally outstanding. She went above and beyond in every way--attentive, kind, gentle, and always one step ahead of what my grandmother needed. In the middle of what has honestly been a nightmare, these four caregivers were a bright light. Their empathy, dedication, and humanity did not go unnoticed. I had gone to their location in Menifee in November 2025 for a routine mammogram. A few days after that, when I had returned to Arizona, I received a call from them saying they needed more images and that I also needed an ultrasound, for my left side only. They also mentioned that before I could make an appointment, I should call my primary care provider to determine if it was an emergency situation. That always freaks anyone out. However, I had this same situation before in the past, but on my right side. I called my PCP, verified that it wasn't an emergency, and was able to call Breastlink to make my morning appointment at 8 am. I knew going in that it was probably just dense breast tissue showing up on the mammogram like it was last time. Nonetheless, I was a bit worried going into this early Monday morning appointment. I arrived a few minutes before my appointment, checked in and sat in the lobby. They will send you texts and emails ahead of time so that you don't have to fill out paperwork when you get there. Expect to spend a few minutes filling those out if you don't do it electronically. I was called to the back in under 10 minutes. First for the mammogram, and then I was taken into a different room for the ultrasound. There were 2 techs, and when they were done, they told me to wait for the doctor, who would come in and give me the result verbally. They would then forward the results to my PCP. Thankfully, the doc came in within a few minutes and let me know everything was fine. There is nothing to worry about and that I was good to go. I was out in about an hour, which is a pretty reasonable time frame if you ask me. The ultrasound needed to be done here because the Menifee location does not perform them, if I recall correctly. I'm thankful for the staff here. They are knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. I'll be back again next year!

I walked into one of the girls at the front arguing loudly with a patient over a co-pay. Her tone was very abrupt, aggressive and impatient, zero compassion. This was already a turn off for me! While it was easy to schedule an appointment and I was called back within a few minutes, it all went downhill from there. I sat in the hall for over 30 minutes to be called back, while the whole hall of other women were called one by one and then even new patients being called back were seen before me, I thought I was forgotten. The techs in the back, there was a whole gaggle of them being very obnoxious and loud with their personal conversations traipsing back and forth across the hall and congregating in a room near the exit to gossip. It was very unprofessional and it didn't help my anxiety at all. The tech who preformed my scan was sweet and patient, the girl who did my ultrasound had zero personality, all in all it was over an hour for this visit. I was told by the ultrasound tech to wait while she consulted with the doctor, not the doctor came in and spoke with me. Then I was a dismissed with a "you're good, we will send the results to your doctor" such a disappointment after a great prior visit.

Kaiser…read morehas only a few Emergency Rooms in Southern California and the nearest was a long hike to get to. The consulting nurse indicated Kaiser contracts with some hospitals near us and that we can head to them for medical help. Although it took over 6 hours to come to the conclusion they did not know what was causing my wife this pain, it was not for a lack of trying. They took X-Ray's, did CAT scans, ultrasound, various blood tests and she saw several people in which all were caring and professional. They provided a referral to a specialist and provided documentation of everything they did along with notes for us to provide to Kaiser. A prescription was given that has provided relief from the tremendous pain she suffered that sent us to Southwest Healthcare ER. This is not a big hospital but after this experience we can attest to it being well run. 5 stars and much appreciation for Southwest Healthcare System care for my wife.

As any parent would be, I was concerned and looking for guidance and reassurance. Unfortunately, the visit felt very dismissive. The doctor came into the room and stated that "fevers are good" and that if my child was not in pain, I did not need to treat the fever. While I understand that fevers can be part of the body's normal response to illness, the way this was communicated came across as dismissive of my concerns as a parent. I left the appointment feeling unheard and without the reassurance or explanation I was hoping for after bringing in an infant with a high fever. Parents seek urgent care because they are concerned about their child's well-being, and a little empathy and communication can go a long way. I hope future families receive more compassionate and thorough care when seeking medical attention for their children.

From the second I arrived and was at the check in I let them know I wanted my partner with me (who is the father of the child I'm expecting). They wouldn't let him even stand next to me during the check in. When I got called back my partner and I walked back and they said he couldn't come with me due to their policy and HIPAA violation. I said I am the patient and consent to having him there so it's not a HIPAA violation. She insisted he couldn't go back due to safety reasons. I told her I am fine going back for the safety questions alone but once complete if he can come into my patient room I'd like him there for support and they denied him entry. I got my pregnancy test result and got a "your pregnancy test is positive do you want me to give you papers for termination or prenatal" from the MA. They lacked compassion, patient care, and building patient rapport. The MA then came back and gave me papers on prenatal care as I requested (all things I had googled). The PA Carly comes in and tells me they don't do prenatal care there. She asked me if I wanted to keep the pregnancy I said yes she said congrats, she could draw some blood for STI testing, and provide information for a care coordinator to help me set up Medicaid. It was very short and nothing else was discussed on what I should expect. What upset me even more than not allowing my partner entry, was in her clinical note she stated in her assessment that she discussed exercise, a healthy diet, importance of vaccinations, Zika, Covid-19, etc. Which in fact none of this was done. The provider needs to Clean up the dot phrase and be accurate in the services provided. I am sure this was written to get paid. The entire interaction with her lasted less than 5 minutes and none of what was listed in my clinical note was done other than being told I'm pregnant, obtaining labs, and we don't do prenatal care here. The clinical note should say just that. While I'm thankful I was able to be seen, I won't be returning even for services outside of prenatal. I feel sad and disappointed they took a special moment away from me and partner.

During that call, I was informed that the refund had been placed on hold for no apparent reason and was assured that it would be sent within 30 days. However, I never received it. After the 30-day period passed, I contacted your office again with my insurance representative. Once again, I was assured that the reimbursement would be sent, yet I still have not received it. At this point, despite multiple promises and confirmations that the refund is owed to me, I remain unpaid. In addition, my attempts to resolve this matter have been met with significant difficulties, including calls being disconnected or terminated before the issue could be addressed. This ongoing delay has caused unnecessary frustration and has resulted in a very negative experience. I am requesting that my reimbursement be issued immediately and that I receive written confirmation regarding the status of the payment.

You get sent to some other country to make appointments or getting a message to your provider, which don't get to the provider. I had a very important message to let my provider know that I was going to wait on my bone marrow biopsy which my provider told me that she didn't get it. As well, when I did go to my follow-up appt, my provider ordered the wrong bloodwork, and the office sent me a message to do the bloodwork before my appt. which I did, and it was the wrong bloodwork and I didn't get any answers as far as what my issue was. As well, the billing department is terrible. For 5 months I called repeatably trying to get a billing statement with no success! As well, I had to call many times asking them to subtract off the co-pays I paid. They told me that would be sent to the statement dept., which there was no such thing in the end. You get someone from overseas that barely speak English and they say the same thing, that they will look into it for you and call you back and they don't. I was finally able to get transferred to a supervisor that promised to email me a statement and mail me one as well. I never got either one. I got a copy of my ledger a month later with no return address to send the bill. I had to send her three more messages and threaten to get an attorney and, a month later I got a letter stating that they have been changing the billing process and I was sent another copy of my ledger, not a billing statement. But, on the letter they typed out the billing address to send my payment. This office runs absolutely terrible in every aspect! And anyone that has cancer or trying to find out if you have cancer this place will cause you an unbelievable amount of stress when that is the last thing you need. I now have to go to another Oncologist to get the correct bloodwork ordered so I can get some answers, after waiting for 4 months only to have the wrong bloodwork ordered and no answers. I will continue to file complaints with other organizations that will look into the way this facility is operating, AWFUL! Betsy C
