Lastly, I come on this site and often see reviews regarding the personal nature of the proprietor of the business, which are sometimes so vicious and misplaced, it is not a mystery why the writers of South Park want to feed some of the members of this site what they want to feed them. To that end, if you have a problem with either Dan or his staff, I would have to say that the problem is most likely with you. They couldn't be nicer, more courteous and helpful. I know that sounds like a lot for serving somebody BBQ but those fairgrounds on a weekend can be a certified nuthouse. At no time did I see anyone lose their patience or desire to help the customers. I cannot begin to describe the flavors coming forth when you open your lips and take your first sip or slurp of her soups. Her butternut apple squash soup has more flavor than anything you can find in New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco or perhaps even France. I have no idea what herbs and flavors she matches and infuses into her soups, but the flavor goes beyond anything you've had in your lifetime. Today, I tried her shrimp and corn chowder soup. I almost didn't order it, as I've had it elsewhere. I'm yet shaking my head, as I cannot fathom how she gets the flavors she does. Enough. Were I a doctor, I'd be writing you a prescription for her soups and pot pies. This is the perfect time of year for that, and her prices given the volume delivered, are excellent. I paid about $13-17 for an entire quart of soup. Consider a restaurant gets from $6 to $8 dollars for a cup, Mia's soups are not only a bargain, but they are also a meal unto themselves.
