My BISSELL was DOA upon arrival at Vacuum Center Destin. Few days later it was ready. Upon firing that bad boy up, I was totally floored. It was like new. It roared with full power as never before. It didn't sound that good or powerful brand new. Fantastic repair/overhaul and the cost was fair. Also gave me excellent helpful tips. I would recommend this joint to anyone. Took an old ORECK vacuum in to trade on a new machine. I knew they specialized in a brand called SIMPLICITY that was similar in the look of an ORECK, but wasn't sure what to get. The owner, Bob, was not a bad guy who was going to 'con' me into buying anything, like another review, he's just a good salesman. We listened to what he had to offer and left the store empty handed to think about it. After reviewing other brands, we returned and took the trade on the new machine. We also purchased the small, hand-vac for off-the-ground cleaning, along with a furniture attachment for dog hair and we couldn't be more please. You can hear the dirt being sucked up that our other vacuum missed! I'll was a great purchase and I hope this machine is as good or better than my previous ones, and we're off to a good start. We now have 3 Simplicity vacuums and could not be happier. My Simplicity canister had a cord problem and Bob went to bat with Simplicity and it was replaced at no charge. Their service department is excellent and I really appreciate the follow up. I would highly recommend the 'Sand Vacuum' (upright) if you live on the beach, have pets and need a heavy duty powerful machine. It leaves nothing behind. The portable strap over your shoulder model is fabulous for cleaning ceiling fans, top of cabinets, drapes, the car etc. It is nice doing business with gentlemen who remember your name when you walk in the store. read more

THIS PLACE IS A TOTAL RIP OFF!!! I needed my Oreck serviced and being new to the area I went to him as a local repair place from Oreck website. I was manipulated into buying a new Simplicity vacuum for $630. 2 days later I tried to return it without even opening the box and I wanted my Oreck back. They would not give me my Oreck back and I could only get a store credit and they had nothing in the store I wanted. They didn't even SELL Oreck, he said this new one was better. There is small print on the bottom of the receipt that says no returns and only store credit is available. My Visa company couldn't do anything and I also contacted Oreck who was very upset with the treatment I received. They are sending me a replacement Oreck and I believe they will no longer do business with these con artists...at least I hope so. I am telling you, he talks a good talk to your face, but is really a skunk in disguise. Stay away unless you are ready to be ripped off big time. Read all the reviews. I wish I had first!!! read more
