I took off work on May 5 for a delivery from Rooms To Go. I used the tracking app they recommended, which originally gave me an 8 AM-12 PM delivery window with a 15-minute arrival notice. The delivery team did not arrive until 1:10 PM. Photos attached. Unfortunately, I had another appointment at 3:30 for my dog, so I had to rush out immediately after the furniture was assembled. After the delivery drivers left, I noticed both of my brand-new end tables -- which the drivers had assembled -- had drawers split in two. There were also scratch marks on the coffee table and a scuff mark, which I was fortunately able to buff out myself. Because the quality was obviously poor, we decided to exchange the items for a different product of equal or lesser value. During this process, Rooms To Go also changed my delivery date to a completely different day than the one I had agreed to. I then had to call in, sit on hold, and spend days waiting for confirmation, which I did not receive until the day before delivery. I then had to take another day off work on May 22 because, once again, there was no reliable delivery time. The drivers were supposed to pick up the damaged items and deliver the replacements. Instead, they delivered a cream-colored coffee table even though: * The website photo showed white * The website description said white * The delivery order said white * The box itself said white Even the delivery drivers agreed the table was cream, not white. When I called customer service, the representative told me that "different companies use different colors" and that I could return it and restart the process all over again. I explained that literally every piece of documentation identified the table as white, and the response I received was, "you get what you get." This was not inexpensive furniture. To make matters worse, they only delivered 2 of the 3 pillows that were supposed to come with the order. Since some items were vendor-direct, I assumed the third pillow would be shipped separately. Today, after checking the shipping status of all 6 items, I discovered the driver had marked the missing pillow as "delivered" on May 22 when it absolutely was not. Thankfully, they are now mailing it through UPS, but initially it sounded like I might have to arrange yet another delivery and take even more time off work. I placed the newest replacement order on May 13, and as of today, 4 of the 5 items still have not shipped. According to the Rooms To Go representative, the vendor-direct company has only just acknowledged receipt of the order. At this point, the process has dragged on for weeks with very little communication or accountability. Overall, this has been an exhausting and frustrating experience. Unethical Business Practices I bought a bunch of furniture through them during my initial move to this area, one being a dining room table. A couple years later the finish on the table started peeling so I made a claim on the warranty I purchased. The claim was initially denied because the report erroniously said scratches, which they don't cover. I had a second assessor come out and they put peeling in the report...claim was still denied citing it wasn't "manufacturer peeling" (what does that even mean). I spoke to the store manager and he said "he would try and work something out". He then proceeded to duck my calls (about 30 of them) for the next 8 months until my claim was past the 3-year warranty mark and, "at this time there is nothing we can do". I spoke to the Customer Care department and they didn't even attempt to provide a solution even after I made them aware that I now needed to fill an apartment with furniture and was looking to see who I would do business with. They could care less about missing out on the sale of an apartment full of furniture...all over a dining room table. I have had few customer service experiences as bad as this one. I visited your store located at 4404 Legendary Dr, Destin, FL 32541,where I worked with sales representative Ray Belville.Following this,I made a purchase for a bedroom set and living room set, with delivery scheduled for March 27th between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM.The delivery team arrived at 9:30 AM, and the setup process took approximately one hour.Upon inspection of the delivered items,I noticed several issues: *A mark on the headboard, *Scratches on the dressers and nightstands, *Black marks on the mattress, and *A large black mark on the sofas. I immediately reached out to Mr. Belville,who informed me that customer care would contact me regarding these issues.Unfortunately,I never received any follow-up communication from customer care,which prompted me to reach out to them directly.I was advised that the earliest available time for a resolution would be April 5th. On April 5th,the delivery was scheduled between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM. At 4:45 PM,I received a call from customer care confirming my address, and I noticed that the delivery truck was parked outside. However,the drivers were not present. Upon inquiry,I learned they had gone to the wrong building.After they returned,I kindly asked if they had booties and gloves,which they did not. I offered to provide these for them, but when I returned outside five minutes later, the truck had left.I then received two missed calls from Vincent Smith,the delivery manager,who claimed the driver had reported that I was being rude. I would like to clarify that I was not rude, but simply trying to ensure proper care during the delivery, given the issues I had already experienced.The core concern here is that the delivery was scheduled from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM,but the drivers did not arrive until 4:50 PM without any prior communication about their delay.I am not sure if the delivery crew was aware that the delivery was for the third floor and there was no elevator and decided not to do the delivery.Given the multiple delays,lack of communication,and poor customer service,I would appreciate your immediate attention to resolving these issues.I request that the damaged items be replaced or repaired promptly and that the delivery be completed without further inconvenience.Thank you for your time and understanding.I look forward to your prompt resolution of this matter. read more

This place is the worst! I own 6 condos in the Destin Area and find their furniture to be reasonably priced, but you get what you pay for. I ordered 2 tables and 8 chairs over 2 months ago. They delivered 2 tables and 4 chairs. I called to have the other chairs delivered and they were due to arrive on 12/16. No one confirmed or showed up. Rescheduled for 12/30 and they showed up and it was before working hours for our management company. Tried to call the driver but they would not return. Called RTG to reschedule yet again. This time we decided to change the address to the office of my property manager so my guests in the condo would not have to be bothered with delivery people showing up. I was transferred 4 times so they could "verify" me and change the address. Then, once verified they transferred me again to the internet sales team to confirm and solidify the new delivery date. Fingers crossed that this delivery will actually take place, but this has wasted more time that it's worth. I've spent more time on the phone being transferred around than I've ever experienced with any other company. There are several reputable furniture companies in the area, I suggest you stay clear of this RTG. I just noticed the other reviews...seems I'm in good company with my 1-star review. The worst customer service you will ever come across. We spent Twelve Thousand, ($12,000.00, 12K, 12 big buckaroos) dollars in a just over an hour with them. They loved swiping my American Express! The furniture was supposed to be delivered and set up by Rooms To Go. We have had some of the worst post sales experience; the driver did not deliver all the furniture at the same time. Dropped off what he wanted to and drove off with the rest. When we called and let the store know, the cheek of the associate to state they will deliver it again but will have to charge us another delivery fee! WHAT!!! The glass of the table delivered was cracked, called the store again, was told the glass is on the water and will be delivered/replaced in December of 2022 WHAT!!!! The beds were assembled incorrectly, the slats were at a 35 degree slope, called the store and was told to disassemble and reassemble it by ourselves, BUT we paid for it to be assembled. WHAT!!!! The Bunkie boards delivered were delivered torn The lamp wasn't working when we plugged it in. The art has screw marks on the frame When we texted the sales lady Lisa, who sold us the furniture, she stated "I am sorry, once I have swiped your American express for TWELVE THOUSAND DOLLARS, I have nothing to do with it". We bought a very pricey Queen mattress which cost a lot of money but he said not to worry because we could return it if not happy with it! I've shopped here twice and have had great experiences both times. Being that the first trip was around 6 years ago, this review will consist of my most recent with an employee named Mark. Mark welcomed us in and I was honestly nervous about being harassed. Not the case. He handled my attempt to brush him off with class and was ready to answer questions 40 minutes later after my gf and I tested out the entire store. His knowledge was vast and was prepared to answer anything instantly. I ended up buying $4-5k worth or living room furniture and it was delivered within a week. If I could I would give this place a zero for service. We showed up early this morning, no cars in parking lot. We are greeted by a salesman named ( Buzz ). He attended to us. I explained that I was on their website and I already picked out the furniture me and my wife liked. Buzz says okay and we begin to show him what we saw on line and via my I-phone. Need an option to select ZERO stars. So the piece of trash sofa delivered today. The frame is so warped there is a 1/2 inch gap to the floor under one of the four feet. Takes about 10 seconds of sitting on it fluttering around trying to balance on three feet to start feeling seasick. After the root canal-level experience of dealing with the salesperson's lies and pressure, I should not be surprised that the deliverable is a piece of crap. Fair disclosure: I called the Customer Service center and was told the warped frame sofa will be replaced, maybe in about 10 days. We purchased a reclining sofa from RTG in Destin, FL just over eight years ago. Yesterday, the power cord gave up the ghost when the plug to the back of the sofa got bent too far and developed an internal short that couldn't be repaired. It's a proprietary plug; I wasn't confident about finding it online, especially since I didn't have the model number or other information on the sofa. So I went back up to the local store in Destin, cord-in-hand, to see if they could help me find one. The store manager, Mick, looked up our purchase, noted it was obviously out of warranty and that it was discontinued, but he printed out a copy of our receipt (from over 8 years ago) with model information for me and wrote down the corporate 800 number for me to call. Here's where it got weird. He proceeded to search the office drawers to see if he could find an old cord, and even went and scoured the warehouse in the back, finding a splitter cord that would probably (and actually did) work for us. He bent over backwards to help us. We've been happy with the furniture, but have to say the customer service displayed by the store manager was unprecedented! A Dining room table with 8 chairs with a Sofa, a loveseat and a single chair were purchased at the Rooms To Go (RTG) on 1/13/2024 and 2/1/24 with the Fortegra warranty to cover accidental stains. We chose white fabrics instead of the grey fabric because the sales person (Devin Pedrosa) emphasized the Fortegra warranty program is far superior to any other warranty programs. Devin stated "if Fortegra cannot remove the stains, the RTG manager will replace the furniture". (attached his text message stating the similar promise). Sofa, Loveseat, single chair, dining table and chairs were delivered on 2/16/24 and 3/7/24. Accidental spills happened on 3/30/24 (Saturday) and we reported the accidental spills to the Rooms To Go (RTG) and Forget. Fortegra sent their tech (actually from RTG staff) to the house on 4/17/24. On 4/17/24, the technician did try to remove stains, but there were some visible stains left still. She told us some furniture would be replaced due to unremovable stains and someone from RTG would contact me for further follow up. Because I have not heard any follow ups, I contacted the salesperson, Devin Pedrosa multiple times (by phone calls and texts) on 4/19/24, 4/20/24 and 4/23/24, 4/24, 4/29/24. (attached screenshots of multiple texts from and to Devin Pedrosa). On 4/23/24, I was able to connect with RTG customer service and I was told that stains were not covered because of "accumulated stains", not a single stain. I asked her that she should send me the written refusal to remove stains and not honoring the Fortegra warranty program. She said it is their policy not to respond in the written notice and only communicate verbally on the phone. It sounded very fishy and was a ridiculous response that she refused the written form of their refusal . Stains on each furniture happened on each accidental spill. How could they claim the stains were accumulated and avoid their warranty contract? It appeared selling this warranty program was an absolute sham and an easy excuse not to honor the warranty contract. In fact, their tech tried to remove the stains, but was not successful. Obviously she reported some stains were not removable. However, RTG was not willing to replace the furniture and found an easy excuse to avoid their warranty program and responsibility. Devin Pedrosa's text responses were that he would ask the senior manager to take care of these issues, but RTG failed to honor the warranty program. His words at the time of sale was RTG would replace the furniture if the stains could not be removed. (screenshots of text messages were attached). During the waiting time, I wanted to remove the stains and asked the local steam cleaning company to remove the stains. The technician reported all stains were removable with his methods, but 4 spots were faulty fabric itself problems and could not be removed. These faulty fabric spots are not easily seen and detectable. I only noticed these spots when the technician showed me (attached the report) Therefore, I asked for a second opinion from another cleaning company, and the technician confirmed the same findings. Some stains were from the faulty fabric and could not be removed, but all other stains can be removed. (attached the report). I have two independent cleaning companies verified that some spots are the original fabric stains which could not be removed. Other spots could be removed. However, RTG declined the responsibility from the warranty even though some spots could be removed. The original stained fabrics are the manufacturer's responsibility and the furniture needs to be refunded or replaced. In summary, some stains were from accidental spills, which should have been covered under the Fortegra warranty that we purchased and paid for. Other spots are faulty original fabric stains itself. The Room To Go refused the responsibility of removing stains under the warranty and also refunding /replacing the furniture with the faulty stains. Again, I requested the full refund of the purchase including the warranty payment, but no refund was done. read more

Cheap overpriced furniture that doesn't last over a year. Bed frame broke and under warranty. Called company, they sent a tech out twice to find out frame was broke. Talked to a lady who said they will exchange the bed frame because the exact part was on backorder, replacement scheduled for next week. 2 minutes later they call me and say it part won't be in for 2 months and won't exchange the frame! We had a great shopping experience here. Everyone was very friendly & helpful. Everyone is complaining about delivery so I'll touch on that... At time of purchase, you sign a paper, that has a checklist explaining their delivery process, and yes, you get a time window. YOU pick the day of delivery, they tell you soonest available date. Our delivery was today, Thursday, 11 April. We got a phone call on Monday afternoon, telling us delivery would be today between 9am-1pm, and that we would get a call the day of by the delivery driver.. As expected, I got a call this morning at 8:45 saying they were on their way. They were here by 9:30, got our sofa unloaded, into the house, set up how I wanted, and were out the door by 10:10. I am so very pleased with our experience, both in the store, and with delivery. We will shop there again for future furniture needs. read more

Within two years we had problems with the leather on one of the chairs and even though we bought the protection plan, Rooms to Go would not even consider repairing or replacing the chair. Two hours into that window, I called to inquire and was told they were "two stops away". I waited past 5 and still no delivery. I called again and was told they were still, "two stops away". I was told I had to still wait around with a revised estimated time of "6 to 10". The company has no regard for your time spent waiting. They over-schedule and expect customers to wait. I'm from California, and I can't get inexpensive furniture this nice looking... anywhere. I ordered furniture for two separate locations and it blew their minds. On delivery day they screwed it up and I took a vacation day to receive the furniture. They track order numbers with telephone numbers and I only have one number, so I had to give them my parent's number. Quality in product is a bit lacking. We got two damaged chest of drawers in a row. The second one was damaged on the back of the chest bottom and at the rear, so we accepted it conditionally. Anyway, our real beef is with the customer service. Over a 4 month period, we called numerous times to the Destin location and reached the same exact person who said the same exact thing, identifying "rooms to go", her name, then hello twice while I started talking as if she could not hear me. While the customer service received in the store have been good so far, my less than favorable experience with warranties and delivery are enough to just never ever go to this place for future purchases. Time is valuable especially while you are at your vacation home. Who would like to have to wait from 7 am to 10 pm for furniture delivery. And at this day and age, why should you? Yet Rooms To Go does require that you commit to this huge time frame for deliveries. Wasting an entire day. Get with technology and be more considerate of your customers' time. read more

Rooms to Go has 2 phone numbers to call but neither will respond but only put you on hold or tell you to try another number. I wish I would have checked the reviews here before I ordered from Rooms to Go. I ordered and paid for my item. I now keep getting messages to confirm my delivery date. I confirm and then later get another message to confirm my delivery date. Now the worst email I received asked me to confirm my delivery date for 2 items I DID NOT order. I tried calling again and then referred again to another number. Finally I decided to call directly to the store in Destin, FL where I had ordered my item, but that person couldn't help me either. Now I am concerned that I will be charged for 2 extra items and I have no way to stop that unless I drive miles to the store and talk in person, but I'm not confident that will help either. We purchased a mattress here. The sales lady pressured us to buy a mattress protector as it acts as a warranty to the mattress for stains (although we were never given proof of this) . We purchased their top of the line mattress protector as we were told it was cooling. We brought it home and it was hot, plastic feeling and would not physically stay on our mattress. We went to return it and was told sorry, all sales are final. There are no signs anywhere and at no point did our sales associate tel us this. The rooms to go 1800 number hung up on us. They told us final sale is on the receipt... well in the world we live in you don't receive a receipt until you have paid for the product... and it is not on our receipt either. Please shop anywhere else. The manager told me it's because they don't sell used items.... ummm everyplace I buy new items accepts returns. Horrible experience. Ordered a sofa. Paid for it up front. Waited nearly three months. They could only deliver at a time no one was home. We asked for a reschedule. They booted us to the end of the line and said we would have to wait another 6-8 weeks to get our sofa. 5 months to get a sofa??? Called corporate.--no help. Cancelled the order. Hope we get our money back without a fight. Absolutely terrible company from the corporate on down. We will gladly take our business and money elsewhere!!! read more
