Stopped in for a dinner pick up at Vale. The Vale wall is so cute and it was a nice little vibe in there. The staff were very friendly and provided great service. I ordered a small sweet earth bowl which had sweet potato noodles, teriyaki chicken, broccoli, and curry honey mustard. Only giving four stars because it was a little on the salty side. I also got the vegan chocolate chip cookie to satisfy my sweet tooth and it surely satisfied it! read more

Absolutely awful. Spent 25 minutes waiting for our food. When asked if we could take a bowl on the menu and make it into a wrap, we were told, "no, we can't do that - no substitutions." Won't be back. The workers clearly didn't want to be there and $38 for a wrap and a bowl? No thank you. Ordered a small size bowl and they didn't even fill half of the bowl and sent my friends the same amount. What's the point of making a bowl small size if you're not even going to fill it? They used to be good and fill the bowls to the top but today they didn't even send half. For all 4 bowls we ordered. Ridiculous. Edit: my friend didn't eat more than a bite of her bowl. Extremely disappointing. Food that had been sitting out for so long that it was mostly dried and crusted over and the tuna for the Poke bowls looked like it would've given you some type of disease. The staff was friendly, and there is a ton of potential but more attention to food handling practices would be greatly appreciated Last of all, I never appreciate going somewhere all of their advertisements look like tons of healthy vegetables only to have them covered in sugary and salty sauces. read more

I finally made it into Vale Food Co and I'm glad I did! I ordered the Smashed Avocado toast and it did not disappoint, next time I will get it without the Feta as it was a bit overwhelming. I like to enjoy my avocado and the feta overpowered it too much for my liking. I also ordered a small bowl with cilantro lime brown rice, broccoli, and Turkey spinach meatballs. Just had an excellent catered meal from Vale at work today. Most everything was excellent. Turkey Spinach Meatballs, Teriyaki Chicken, Vegan Buffalo Tenders, Southwestern Salad, Greens & Grains Salad, Chipotle Mac & Cheese, Sweet Potato Noodles, Roasted Broccoli, Buffalo Cauliflower, Cilantro Lime Brown Rice, and various sauces. As someone who normally eats at Bolay or Fresh food co, Vale has been a disappointment. The serving sizes here are so small, it seems stingy. The protein options are nice since there are vegan options, but I'd also prefer if there were more chicken or meat options. I probably would not choose to eat here again, but the options are healthy if you're looking for a light and quick meal. read more

Sunny Ilyas is Founder & CEO for Vale Food Co, a rapidly growing healthy fast casual restaurant in Florida that offers build your own bowls; Acai bowls, and also provides meal plan delivery services. A true entrepreneur, he set out in 2014 to create a meal plan delivery company to provide people with healthy food that is delicious, convenient, affordable and has variety. In 2016, he was able to grow from a meal plan delivery business to opening up as a restaurant as well. As a dual revenue stream company, Vale Food Co in a year has been able to grow into 3 locations in prime real estate and thrive.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Vale Food Co. in Gainesville. The staff were visibly angry at each other on my arrival, and this caused a significant delay in my order. To make matters worse, they were extremely rude and arrogant. When I tried to inquire about the delay, they yelled at me and suggested I cancel my order instead of resolving the issue. Even after I escalated the matter to the manager, I was shocked that there was no apology on behalf of the staff. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. We waited over 45 minutes for açaí bowls, even though the place was not busy. On top of that, only 2 of the 5-6 bowls listed on the menu were actually available. Malaysia was great at helping me understand the food choices. This is my first time in. She was very friendly , she smiled and offered me a taste of the meatballs since I wasn't sure if I would like them. She made eye contact which is always important to me and she spoke to where I heard and understood her. excellent customer service. As Mario says, your greatest wealth is your health. He offered me a free cookie for a review and recommended his coworkers Ally & Justice. I personally interacted with only Mario and Ally myself, but Justice seems like a great worker as well. I'm particularly impressed with Mario's customer service - and not only because he offered me food. He readily exercised genuine compassion and salesmanship, which is hard to find a mixture of. I'm honestly really frustrated with my order from this place. The pulled chicken was dry, lacked seasoning, and had a weird sweet flavor that just didn't work. The cauliflower rice, which I paid extra for, had a strange smell like it was nearing spoilage. Vale has been an almost everyday go-to! The açaí bowls are amazing no matter how I switch the toppings. The lemon pepper salmon is super super tasty. The food here is simple, tasty, and fresh. It's a typical upscale fast-food, but healthy and the prices are reasonable. It's not fancy, but just what is needed for a quick bite. Vale also seems to be more environmentally conscious than 90% of the food places in Jacksonville, so I would rather give them my money. Build a bowl-flexible to your eating needs and bam! good eats! I can't speak highly enough on the food, service, and overall atmosphere at Vale! I have truly become a regular and my favorite is the spicy sweet potato noodles with broccoli and their turkey, feta meatballs!
