We came here to celebrate our anniversary with family... They chose this restaurant and what a pleasant surprise... Great ambience, wonderful service delicious food highly recommend but it runs a little bit loud, but thank goodness the overall experience was wonderful! Oh, I almost forgot everything is made fresh!!

We popped into o this restaurant after spending the day in Point Reyes. We were DEFINITELY casual, pushing too causal, but from the moment we walked in, everyone was so friendly, and nobody seemed to be judgjng. It was about 7:30 when we arrived, and it was definitely busy. Our waiter Christiano, immediately greeted us and let us know he could get us a table in about five minutes and invited us to have some wine at the bar. We shared the Heirloom Tomato Salad with tomatoes from the owner's garden as well as Rabbit Pappardelle and baked black cod with olive crust, sautéed spinach with salt cured capers, and lemon emulsion. It was all delicious, but the cod was AMAZING!!!!!! The service was also great. Cristiano was friendly and knowledgeable, and there were several other people taking care of us as well. It wasn't quick service, so I would let them know if you're in a hurry, but if you have time to just kick back and enjoy your company and meal, it's definitely nice to not be rushed through. When I say it wasn't "quick service," I don't mean it was too slow. It was just relaxed but attentive. I loved this place and highly recommend. I will be thinking about that cod for a while.

Whole NZ sea bream with lemon emulsion served separately with wild rice and sautéed spinach.

Amazing Italian food, good wine selection, and outstanding service. The caprese salad made with heirloom tomatoes and other vegetables from the owner/chef's garden and the white anchovy and arugula salad exceeded our expectations. The home-made pastas were heavenly. The pappardelle with pulled braised rabbit, the Garganelli with seafood bolognese, and the NZ sea bream with lemon emulsion were some of the best food we have had in Marin for the past 20 years. Franco our server was gracious, attentive, and helpful. The rose Prosecco and organic Italian Pinot Noir were also very nice. We will be definitely returning to try the other entrees. Highly recommend.

This place is really good! We scored with a highboy table overlooking the subtle bustle of their open kitchen. Loved that! Lovely, fast and friendly service. Quality food served just moments after it's made. What's not to love? Reservations highly recommended. Place was really hopping on a Saturday evening.

I have eaten here several times and I have never been disappointed. We found ourselves in San Anselmo on a Saturday evening in August. We followed the music and ran into some friends and hung out a bit before calling Valenti & Co to see if they could accommodate two for dinner. They said yes and we high footed it over there. We ordered the mixta salad $15, wait until you see the picture, the parpadelle, the sea bass, a bottle of white Italian wine and a chocolate tower. All lovely and worth the $.

Juan S. was our server for the night. Very knowable about the menu and the dishes. We started with a classic Caesar salad that we shared. It was plenty enough for us. I ordered the Petrale Sole special and my husband had the Pollo Pomodoro with vodka tomato sauce. Both were excellent choices. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked, as were the mixed veggies. My husband loved the pasta as well. For 2 entrees, 2 glasses of wine, 1 Caesar salad, 1 bruschetta and a cannoli for later, our bill was $152, before tip. Well worth it.

After we were finally seated and put in our order for drinks, appetizers and main dishes, we waited quite a long time to get our food served. Quality-- not sure if we ordered the wrong things or went in on an off night, but for some reason everything we ordered was underwhelming and lackluster, from the: -drinks (cucumber mojito and strawberry balsamic mocktails) -bruschetta was average -meatballs were sort of flavorless -spinach ravioli with pesto was bland -parpadelle was also bland and portion was oddly small Overall, the food and service was unsatisfactory for the price we paid for the bill. We were excited to come here to celebrate our anniversary and left the restaurant feeling super unfulfilled with our meals. Safe to say we won't be coming back to this establishment, nor will we be suggesting this restaurant to friends and family.

There's a nice group of regular young people there that really dig it which is nice. I'm glad they have a hip spot to hang out. However, I do think they should have more servers or at the very least more efficient service. They also have NO items that resemble food so a lot of people bring food in from nearby spots, in fact, this establishment encourages it. (Loss of revenue but most likely their license must be restricted?) I'll walk a block and visit the "FLAT IRON" any day for killer elevated bar food and the great beer offerings and I'll retire my bustier!

The pizza got soggy really fast and everything seeped in. After eating about 1/3 of the pizza I just started eating the toppings because the crust was gummy. **Let me mention here that my pizza probably sat a little longer than needed because they brought the appetizer AND the pizza out at the SAME TIME which made ZERO SENSE why they wouldn't space them out but that probably added to the sogginess of the pizza** *Cannoli - OUTSTANDING!
