It was the one time during the whole thing I found the right place on my first visit. The florist helping us knew exactly what he was talking about and for some reason knew exactly what I wanted even if I didn't. The only thing I knew for sure I wanted were my favorite flower, carnations and eucalyptus. He had some many great suggestions and my bridesmaids bouquets were so beautiful, with their stems elegantly wrapped in silk and the extra garnishing on all the the flower arrangements had a sparkling quality to them which brought out the winter theme I was going for. Candelabras were included and they even went and measured the mantel pieces in the venue to see how they would fit. It was divided up into pieces so we could use it as one big arrangement for the formal pictures and then divided up for the ceremony and reception. I think they are priced too low for what you get. I only had to meet with them once and everything worked out perfectly.

This was around the summer season so she was really busy. I let her know I was having a smallish wedding and described my color theme, coral and navy. I only needed a few key pieces to brighten up the outdoor space, some big arch flowers, a few boutonnieres and corsages, as well as my wedding bouquet. I didn't have a wedding party since it was so last minute so that was it. She sent me a quote for a very reasonable rate. I was a bit nervous about the flowers because I have not previewed what they would look like or what kinds of flowers she would use. I just sent her my payment and hoped for the best. Fast forward to the wedding day. I had the flowers delivered to the venue in the Seattle Laurelhurst neighborhood. My wedding planner said they arrived on time and were in perfect condition. When I arrived and first saw them I was really impressed. The flowers were simply gorgeous and so me! I wish I had ordered more flowers! The colors and flowers she selected were bright and refreshing and my bouquet was the perfect size; not too big or small. I had a good experience working with Ally for my 2007 wedding. My flowers were one of my top…read morepriorities, and I over-did it a little with my expectations. She was very accomodating and responsive to my requests. We had 2 planning sessons, and to be honest, I needed a few more. Pros: She was professional, budget-friendly, and created beautiful bouquets and centerpieces. She arrived on time, and brought helpers to help set up and pin boutinneirs on the fellas. Huge pro: We definitely threw a kink in the floral planning and Ally was instrumental in bailing us out at the last minute. I had planned to use potted plants as wedding favors, one pot per couple. They were also doubling as decoration for the table. After my mom and I realized that growing the plants from seed, transporting them to the reception, etc was going to be too difficult, I hired Ally to make me 200 hand-tied mini rose bundles to place into the pots. The bundles were not the color I expected (off white roses), but they were a huge undertaking and she definitely did a great job of making a relatively last minute fiasco into a lower stress experience. Cons: My arrangements were a bit of a surprise. The men had very normal salmon-pink boutinniers, when I expected that they would be more of a deep fuschia/magenta/poppy darker pink, almost red, color. I had brought her lots of magazine pictures of what I liked and my general style, and unfortunately my flowers really did not look anything like what I had imagined. My sister's MOH bouquet was actually the most beautiful in our group, and I wish I had swapped with her before the ceremony. The centerpieces were a bit too small, which was my fault because I had cut them down to make them less expensive. Aside from some of the bouquet/centerpiece surprises, she did do an incredible job and I would recommend her. I blame myself for not clarifying more exactly what I wanted since it was clearly pretty important to me. If I were going to be a bridezilla about anything, it was going to be the flowers!
