Efficiently snaked the drain and got the water draining again. He cracked the 2" drain nut that secured the drain pipe to the p-trap. Did not have a replacement. Tried to fix it with plumbers putty with no success. I did not have a replacement in my arsenal. Called his boss and asked if I could buy one and install it myself. I agreed as by now he had been on the the job for 2 hours. He changed me the 2 hour rate and no discount for the broken nut or compensation for my time and money to fix his mistake. Very pleasant young man but he should have had replacement parts on board and not wasted time trying to fix something that couldn't be fixed and gone out himself to buy the part and replace it.

He also looked at the water softener and said he didn't know anything about them. Both of these requests were sent to Peterson's before someone was sent out. However, if you want a professional, that knows what they are doing, to get it right and not tell you "I don't know anything about these." Well... consider that before calling. Or just request a professional also with your inquiry. This will save you time, money and frustration. They probably have a professional there. We just didn't get that person. This would be fine if we were informed immediately that the company would be sending someone with no knowledge of our requests. That way, we would have went somewhere else straight away. Warren Wilde took care of the water softener, he even told us what exactly was wrong just from our description over the phone. He looked at our water softener and said, "I don't know anything about these...." I showed him a pin that supposed to be attached to the softener and he said "Yeah I don't know why there'd be a pin in it." So we are paying for a plumber to come out and NOT know about water softeners? So he installed the bidet but it took him just shy of TWO hours. When he finished he said it was leaking (maybe not his fault)- but two hours for a bidet? I installed it myself at our other house in 15 minutes. The only reason we had a plumber do it was because we needed a different T-valve and he didn't get a different T-valve- he just rigged the one we had to make it work (might be why its leaking????). We do need to get a new water softener but will be using someone else to install it as they did not leave us with much confidence in their abilities.

Yeah, I know it was a weekend of all days, hence why…read moreI only contacted companies that took call, open 24 etc. I started with companies that had 5 star rating, let me be clear I was willing to pay a fair price. I happened to call Rollie's as they fit the criteria. From the minute the owner answered the call, he sounded annoyed. The longer the conversation went on I was feeling like i was a bother. He genuinely made the call uncomfortable, that I even asked if he wanted to do it (wants the business) and that I could get someone else. He made me feel like I was interrupting his Sunday, which I get I was, but it did say this business was 24/7 on call. He made sure to say it was going to cost me and that it was a 40 min drive; his tone was condescending. I had him on speaker and even my husband was appalled by his behavior. I decided to end the conversation with that I would get someone else, that he didn't seem like he really wanted my business. I ended up getting my problem fixed with a different company that had superior customer service from the first phone call all the way through to him walking out of my home with my problem fixed and at a way cheaper price than your quote. Customers don't want to feel like we are putting YOU out or that we are a bother. Customers don't need to put up with rude businesses. We can bring our money elsewhere. There was a legit reason why I needed it fixed on a Sunday. If you'd rather spend family time with no interruptions, might I suggest you close your business to weekdays only. Even if I were to have believed you that it was no problem, your tone suggested otherwise. I don't even think I could have trusted your work or the end price for that matter.
