We're big fans of Valentino's for breakfast, and stopped in again on November 2, 2025. As usual, the food and friendly service were top-notch. The tots they serve with breakfast have a unique fand delicious flavor. We tend to keep things simple when we eat breakfast, and Valentino's consistently delivers great quality and flavor. My eggs were quick perfectly as well the country sausage. It's a reliable and we'll be back again! Keep in mind if you pay via credit card there is a processing fee so plan ahead and bring cash to save money. read more

Made another visit to Lansdale, PA, to continue exploration of its breakfast scene. Valentino's Bistro was this day's destination. Good choice. Although it sounds like an Italian dinner spot, it actually serves three squares a day, with the morning meal very dominant. I sat in the streetscape sunroom overlooking North Broad Street, and enjoyed excellent service from the moment I sat down until I walked to the cashier to pay the bill. There was fairly high turnover, and a large family presence, sometimes with three generations at the table. I went with the New Orleans Omelette (sausage, onion, hot pepper, feta) with hash browns and rye toast. It was cooked in its own frying pan as evidenced by the high smooth half moon shape on my plate. So much better than putting it together on hot steel alone. It was moist, chunky and delicious. Coffee flowed freely and I received a small stainless pitcher of milk on request. I'm not sure what lunch and dinner are like at Valentino's, but I would certainly return for breakfast. read more

Nice bistro tucked away in Lansdale. The service was efficient and pleasant. Lots of options for breakfast. Very extensive menu. Coffee was fresh and kept coming while we waited for our food. It does take a little time to get your order but that just means you have more time to conversation. The food was very fresh and plentiful. The omelettes are huge- 4 eggs. Delicious Belgian waffles. I love the ambiance here. Every section of the restaurant has a different look to it. Overall, great vibe from the decor and set up. We were sitting in a sunroom-like place for breakfast. The service was friendly. There was a variety of selection for breakfast, very diner vibe. Everything we ordered was good. We really like the coffee variety. Prompt service and large portions - a great place to go if you love breakfast food! We had a party of four, but there was plenty of indoor seating to fit larger parties. Most of us got the eggs Benny which was all right, and my friend said he enjoyed his panini. All of us agreed the food was a little too salty (and the yolks weren't runny enough, but that's just IMO.) Our waitress was very nice and attentive. I love it here! Been coming to this spot off and on since the early 90's. It was Grimaldi's back then. But this family owned and operated bistro is a real gem along Broad street. The food is ALWAYS great and the conversations are pleasant. I remember one time the father, wanted me to try a lobster and egg dish, I didn't have the money for, so he comped me! On my recent trip, I got a coffee crumb muffin which was BIG and delicious! And of course...a cup of coffee. I should see about getting an I.V. drip of that stuff, although then I wouldn't be able to taste it! read more

I have driven past this restaurant several times but never stopped for a meal. It is kind of at an odd location and can easily be overlooked. I recently found out that they serve breakfast. Breakfast is one of my favorite meals so I decided it was time to visit. I ordered Coconut Crusted French Toast. This was French Toast stuffed with a blueberry cream cheese mixture and then sprinkled with toasted coconut and powered sugar. So yummy and so filling. I also ordered a side of scrapple which is a local favorite. Not everyone has this on their breakfast menu so I tend to order it when it's available. It was cooked perfectly. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The breakfast menu is sizable with about a dozen omelet options plus sweeter options like pancakes, waffles and French Toast. The interior decor resembles an Italian eatery but the menu options are more diner style. The food was delicious and served promptly. Service was good with a friendly server. I would definitely recommend for breakfast. Went back to the restaurant for breakfast. This time I ordered from the omelet menu. I chose the Monet omelet which includes spinach, tomato, bacon, ham and mozzarella. I omitted the onion. It was delicious and so filling. I ended up with a doggie bag (eats for tomorrow!). We have eaten here many times over the years. Service and staff are both great! The menu is huge with something for everyone! Personally, I the Eggs Benedict! It's a cool little place to grab a bite and see people you know. It's a bit of a landmark in Lansdale. The sunroom gets a little warm in the summer months. Maybe a ceiling fan would be helpful? Really kind staff and yummy breakfast! We've ordered delivery a few times for breakfast because I saw that they offer gluten-free options. Gluten free is not listed on the delivery app menus but I took a chance ordering pancakes and adding a note requesting gluten free. I figured if they sent regular pancakes my husband could just eat them. Not only was it not an issue, but they clearly labeled the food for us as well. I've ordered gluten free pancakes and Belgian waffles with no problem and it has been really nice as a treat once in a while, esp. since most places in our area don't offer gluten free versions. I thought they had gluten free muffins as well and ordered them, opting to just refund if they didn't have them. Instead of refunding the gluten free muffins or just sending regular muffins in their place, they sent a free order of gluten free chocolate chip pancakes with a note on the box. It was so nice of them, and completely unnecessary! Having to adjust to a gluten free diet is a big, inconvenient chore and often disappointing as you realize your options for treats have been seriously limited. Every meal kind of becomes a drag. It's really nice to have a local place that can accommodate this need! I realize that ordering these kinds of foods pretty much guarantees cross contamination because we can't expect kitchens to have totally separate areas and tools just for some orders--but it's a choice I make once in a while and I'm lucky not to be a person with severe/immediate reactions to exposure. I've never felt sick after eating breakfast from Valentino's and it's not an everyday treat but I'm super grateful to have it as an option!!! read more

Wow...what a delicious breakfast the boys and I had here. The place wasn't very busy at all, which concerned me at first, but so glad we went in anyway. Plenty of choices on the menu but I went with the Dutch omelette while my boys had the short stack of chocolate chip pancakes and a plain Belgian waffle. Service was fast and friendly and our food came out hot and quickly. I was completely stuffed by the end of my meal, which I washed down with one of their special coffees for the day--a pumpkin latte. My boys enjoyed their meals as well. Another plus for us is that there are gluten-free options on the menu, so the next time we come back, I will bring the wife and there will be several options for her to choose from. A few days later, I was talking to my Mom about this place to let her know she should try it, and as it turns out, several of her church friends eat here all the time as they love it as well! I was impressed how fluffy the omelets are! My daughter is very picky about her pancakes and these come out perfect and tasty! You get a good size mug of coffee. Slightly on the pricey side but that is everywhere you eat at. At least here it's delicious. And the staff is wonderful. read more

I was hoping that I found a new diner to go to. The cream chipped beef tasted like raw flour. The coffee, definitely not a fan.

I can't say anything bad about Valentinos bistro. I have enjoyed every one of my half dozen experiences here. I spent last valentine's day at this establishment and ate lobster ravioli, I recomend that dish. Breakfast wise you can go wrong with a bacon egg and cheese. Crab cakes are another favorite of mine from Valentinos. Really the menu should something for everyone. One thing I notice is they sit me at the exact same booth everytime, there's a whole other section I have never even seen. Part of me wants to ask to sit there and part of me wants to keep it a mystery. There's nothing wrong with the seat I always get, it's a nooth right by the window and has a nice view of broad street Something I realized is that its hard to eat dinner here because they close a little after lunch on weekdays. Fridays and Saturdays they stay open later. I think this is a worthwhile restaurant to visit in lansdale. read more

Very good food and service. I had breakfast over medium eggs (perfect) scrapple ( prepared one of the best I've eaten) pancakes (tasty). Mom had French onion soup ( she loved it literally gone in 1 minutes time) and veggie grinder. Hubby had the Al Pacino, he loved it, broccoli rabe is something he never had before however the grilled chicken was flavorful and tender. Average food, service is ok. I'm not sure what this place is going for. Seems like they're a mix between italian restaurant and a diner. Service leans more towards diner service though. Not sure if their lunch is any better but breakfast was definitely just average. Their cappuccinos (including the milk) are also made from pods which I thought was odd. read more

This wonderful little gem of an eatery was a great find for a really good breakfast. This is a family owned business with friendly, attentive wait staff and customers. Our waitress, Angie, made our visit feel as though we were among friends. Adjacent customers were social and enjoyed Angie's service too. The menu is diner style. The breakfast was delivered quickly and exactly as requested; firm eggs were firm. The cream chipped beef was delivered on the potatoes at our table and on toast at the neighboring table - as desired . Traveling through the small towns surrounding Philadelphia can certainly be an adventure. From winding roads to suddenly changing names of streets, the actual journey alone can be exciting. The journey can also be long, which can lead to hunger and the need to find somewhere to eat. Ideally that place will be pleasant, competent, and satisfying. Valentino's is similar to many of the Italian style restaurants that dot the suburban Philadelphia countryside. I am always amazed at how many "Pizza" and "Italian" restaurants there are in the seemingly middle of nowhere. Most of them are located in strip malls and seldom seem to have any differentiating qualities. The restaurant is certainly pleasant, the owners and the staff are gracious and very warm. I actually stopped in after looking at a few other restaurants and Valentino's was the only one with any customers inside. It was a normal dinner time, and seeing as how Valentino's had a crowd I thought it was a promising sign. Although I enjoyed the service and appreciated finding a lively restaurant rather than an eerily quiet one to eat in I cannot say that I overwhelmingly enjoyed the food. The portions are generous and several of the dishes are presented in a home cooking style. However, there is little balance applied to the seasonings, with some being too bland and some being too salty or bitter. Several of the pasta dishes were overcooked to the point where the pasta broke apart on the tongue. If you have problems with your teeth this could be a positive thing. I certainly got the opinion that Valentino's is a popular locals destination. I believe they try hard. However, it was very hard for me to leave this place feeling satisfied especially when the bill came to more than $20 per person. read more

Super cozy, family Italian restaurant right in heart of Lansdale. It's nice and big with lots of booths and seating. It had lots of locals and families there, which was nice. I loved my salmon and potatoes, so buttery, flavorful and rich. It also comes with soup and salad which was great, as well as some rolls. The best thing was the chocolate peanutbutter bomb, soooo rich filled with whipped pudding type filling and a crispy chocolate crust. Delicious!
