    Fried chkn waffle sandwich
    Tiffany S.

Dragged a friend with me to the Waffle Mama's food truck after a workout to share a bite although she wasn't thrilled about anything having to do with waffles. I just needed to share the calories as I was in a diet phase lol. We shared the fried chicken waffle sandwich and omitted the dill pickle slaw as per my friend's request. The flavor/texture combo of the sandwich was great. The fried cornflake coating of the thick chicken breast dipped in honey butter sauce had just the right amount of crunch nestled between 2 fluffy sweet potato waffle. My gf to this day still raves about the flavor of the waffles.

We came across this food truck at the Allentown Fair and I've been thinking about the waffle mozzarella sticks ever since. They were one of my favorite things I've ever eaten. My friends got some sandwiches (also on waffles) and were obsessed. I'm following this truck on social media now and am looking forward to tracking them down again!

Waffle mamas was parked at the winery I visited over the weekend. The honey butter fried chicken sandwich was so delicious and filling. Make sure to grab some napkins, the sandwich can get a little messy!

If you're just looking for a simple, no-frills meal, it'll do - but if you're after something special, you might want to keep searching Ralph's itself was serviceably clean yet not exactly sparkling. The menu was as basic as it gets, with no specials or anything to make the offerings stand out. A blackboard with daily features could have added some much-needed variety. Service was similarly uninspired. The staff was polite but not particularly warm or attentive. Our coffee cups sat empty for far too long, and we sat for quite some time, waiting for refills that never came. Oddly enough, the highlight of the experience wasn't the food but another waitress, who cheerfully sang along with the radio. She seemed to be the only one genuinely enjoying her job, and we couldn't help but wish she had been our server. As for the food? It was edible. Nothing was bad, but not memorable either. We left fed but still craving a breakfast spot that delivers both flavor and atmosphere. .

We moved a bit further away but totally worth the 30min drive- it's just a little treat for ourselves during the week when we don't have the kids. Anything and everything is fantastic on the menu. They have your typical breakfast but also varying options, and ingredients mixed together that you wouldn't think would be delicious, but it is. Seasonal menu changes- it screws me up every time bc there are too many good options and I have difficulty choosing just one. Obviously, coffee is local and delicious. Any toast/muffin that comes with a meal is always homemade, or from a local bakery. Staff is always super friendly and very attentive. Update- I started this review months ago and never posted (lol oops!). Came back on to make sure I have raved about this place. If I was on death row, Sammy's would be on my list of last meals. Can't get enough of this place.

The flavor combo in this is perfect, with the garlic bread base, the crispy mozzarella, the perfectly poached eggs, sauce and veggies. It all compliments each other so well. It came with a very fresh and seasonal fruit cup. We have come to expect absolute perfection from Sammy's dishes and this was no exception. We also tried the new zucchini fritters from the lunch menu, but were so excited to try them, I forgot to take a pic. They are described on the menu as zucchini fritters with cheese, but really they are fried cheese with zucchini, which is definitely how I like it. Idk what the sauce is that it comes with but i would eat it with a spoon! They are a definite hit and I plan to order them every time I go, with an extra side of sauce.

We both found beverages and food that suited our preferences (it should be noted that the menu offers a variety of options). My son declared that his burger was one of the best he has ever had! I enjoyed my turkey club, but I think a more accurate name would be " Turkey Blt with Avocado on Ciabatta" because that is what the sandwich is. Regardless, I would order it again. The service was friendly and attetive without being overly so. The atmosphere of the place is relaxed and inviting. We will be back!

We ordered the pork belly bao buns for an app. The pork was painfully dry and the buns themselves were also dry and brittle. We do not recommend at all. I got the mussels in white wine broth with pasta. The broth was bland and mussels weren't to die for, but overall I enjoyed and the portion size was truly insane. My husband got the shepards pie and it was the best shepards pie either of us have ever had. Would be open to trying again but hope the food quality is more consistent next time.

In my opinion, they have the best happy hour in the area. It's every day from 5-7 PM, which is a refreshing change from the typical Monday-Friday happy hours that end at 6. We usually sit at the bar, and the bartenders are always friendly, attentive, and make you feel welcome. The happy hour food and drink specials are a fantastic value. It's easy to enjoy a great evening out for under $50, which is becoming harder to find these days. The crowd is usually friendly too, making it a fun place to relax and socialize. As for the food, I honestly can't remember having a bad meal here. Everything we've ordered has been flavorful, satisfying, and generously portioned. Unlike many restaurants today, you don't leave feeling like you paid inflated prices for tiny portions. If you're looking for a place with great food, excellent service, an outstanding happy hour, and a welcoming atmosphere, the Metropolitan Diner is definitely worth a visit. It's become one of our favorite local spots, and we'll be back many more times.

We didn't stay, I felt that was rude and dismissive. My wife and I did come back today because they open at 10am on Sundays. The food was absolutely horrible. We ordered the eggroll sampler and fried pickles as an app. The eggrolls were tasteless, and the fried pickles were so greasy we couldn't eat them. Then on to the entrees, I ordered the brunch burger and my wife the French toast with bacon. French toast is what it is...not much you can do (and I still question my wife about ordering it). The burger, flavorless and overcooked. To make this experience better, the bacon for my wife's side and on my burger...completely raw. The food took a long time to come out, so no excuses. The service was good and I don't blame them for this. But far too many missteps. This is not just a mistake on one item...this is a restaurant that's lost its way.
