I went there for gas of course and tried to use payment reader which rejected my apple pay which I thought was odd. I walked inside where I was able to use the reader at the cash register. No other transaction and immediately went home. Next day I wake up to two different attempted transactions for $100 something dollars and another for $14.00. Neither was the amount I pay for my gasoline. I will never stop there or at another Valero ever again. Go to Shell, 76 or anywhere else but here. Scam artist at this place. Stopped here just after 10:00am PT on Saturday May 15, 2021 to put air in a tire ($1.25 - which is reasonable) and gas up before continuing with my Lyft driving shift. After sitting in my car by the air machine to respond by text to a family emergency, I was rudely accosted by the clerk in the photo (day manager?) and told that I was blocking the machine for other customers. I was happy to move and did so immediately. Five minutes later, the clerk accosted me again, shouting that I should "State my business!" Oh. I've seen THAT look before... When I asked what the problem was, he refused to state his name. "If you buy something (else), I'll give you my name." The reality was, he wanted me "off of his property" (verbatim) immediately, because I was BLACK. So much for "We people of color have to stick together..." I encourage all POCs, Lyft and Über drivers to avoid this place like the plague. This disagreeable little cretin ruined my positive mood for the day. Being a full-time RV'er for more than four years, we value a clean store, clean restrooms, and quality service. Which is obviously not the same requirements Valero holds for it's fueling stops. Traveling from South Padre Island, Tx with family, we gave them one more try, and true to form our previous opinions were confirmed. Not wanting to deal with the public, one station in Texas, posted a sign on the entrance stating that bathrooms were "closed" for cleaning, but we spend 45 minutes in the parking lot, eating lunch and stretching our legs and the sigh never came down. And like every other Valero we've ever been in, it was dirty and the customer service sucked. We will never use Valero again. read more

I always get the VIP car wash which includes armor-all on the tires, and it costs less than $15. I know armoralling tires is one of the most useless things I could do for my car, but it looks so good. And they don't try to sell me anything extra. The staff is SUPER friendly, this has been my local corner store for a few years now. Items aren't overpriced but there isn't a huge selection...maybe I've also been coming here for years so the selection becomes the same over time. They have a bathroom inside for customers, you just need to ask for the key. Open 24/7 but after 11pm you can only order through the glass window, you can't go inside. Gas is decently priced. Free air with gas fill up. There's also a car wash here, not associated with the gas station but it is attached. Be careful of the people outside claiming they "ran out of gas" and only need a few dollars. They are there all the time taking money. read more

This gas station is conveniently located right off the 10 freeway. I was excited because no one was there and I could immediately get gas. Unfortunately the pump was not working properly, because every time I press it all the way it would stop on me. I did this for about five minutes until I ran out of patience and ask the guy to help. He was really nice and pump it for me. He said it was a problem with my car not the pond which I don't think was right because this has never happened before but at least he was nice about it read more

This gas station/car wash does pretty decent car washes. On Tuesdays they have a special car wash and vacuum for $8.99. They have other packages there too as well as a full detail service. The inside of the place is part of the gas station, which has the usual things that you can buy at a typical mart at a gas station, drinks, gum, cigarettes, etc. The outside waiting area has a few benches with a canvas awning to wait for you car while it is being worked on. The people here are ok, and the service is about what you get at a typical car wash. read more

This review is the for the car wash. I got a $13.99 VIP Special when I came for just a wash and vacuum. I figured it couldn't hurt to get a wax and the interior cleaned so I got the VIP. I came back 25 minutes later and the guy literally stopped cleaning the minute he saw that I was back. The vacuum job was subpar and I had to make them do it again. They didn't get to the hard to reach parts inside my car that I couldn't get to myself. Isn't that what I'm paying for?! When I complained, the woman said that the interior did not include details... ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Don't give me a stupid excuse when you guys do a half-assed job. I came home and finished cleaning. i shouldn't have to do that especially when I complained twice. Stood there for 5 minutes inside (because the outside pumps pay wasn't working) and wasn't even greeted, proceeded to stand there for another 3 minutes (and eventually several customers behind me) only to be told "mam, you can pay outside". I said, I'm in here because the outside one isn't working! Him & his coworker continued to do what they were doing, eventually all of us left! I would have given the car wash here 4-stars, but when I started my vehicle to leave, the battery was dead!!! Since it finally stopped raining, too many other people had the same idea I did, so my car was sitting around for over half an hour before it was finally washed. I suspect the interior and exterior lights were on and drained the battery. I was obviously upset, so the employees tried to recharge my battery with a little red machine. When that didn't work, they told me I needed a new battery. Since my car is relatively new, that didn't make sense. Fortunately, when they jumped the car, it started. For peace of mind, I drove to my mechanic, who ran a free diagnostics test on my battery, which turned out to be fine. Make sure you turn everything off before you get out of your car here to avoid a similar ordeal. You never know how long it will take for them to get to you. I could only see a Suburban in front of me when I first arrived. Little did I know there were quite a few vehicles stacked up around the corner. Everyone was constantly working, but they may have been shorthanded. If you come here on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, it's only $9.99. The rest of the time, the least expensive wash is $13.99. I always pay cash. My auto does look clean, but what should have been a simple errand became a stressful experience. read more

TERRIBLE!! Just awful! We did the $20 executive package where they do the outside and inside. The rims had dirt on them, there was fingertips on the doors, the inside looked like they just took a dirty rag and wiped the top part of the dash. We went back to politely explain that the job was sub-par and that we won't be returning, they offered to wipe the inside again, with me still in the car, they did a quick wipe over where they had already wiped. My husband then asked for the rag and proceeded to CLEAN HIS OWN CAR! To top it off, the next day I got into my car and couldn't see out the wind shield thanks to this filthy haze that had dried up and presented itself. read more

cheap and fast. you truly get what you pay for. got the @20 package and proceeded to the cashier. this package includes them taking out your mats and washing them, which means you have to take the mats out to vacuum. it took him a while, but he did eventually just LIFT up the mat near the seat and do some work there. i came back after the guy wiped the interior down and boy was it slick in there! whatever oil they use to make the dash look shiny, this guy was not frugal with it at all. holy shit. for $20, i think it was a good shot at cleaning my car. under the side mirrors and inside the door handles were dirty so by no means no a full detailing job, of course. they did THIS job faster than i ever could. There should be a wash that lets you do it yourself. is there one? read more

This review is for the car wash. This is the only car wash I go to because it's close to my house and they are usually pretty quick. You have to watch them sometimes with the armor all, sometimes they don't wipe a spot or sometimes overspray. I got the 13.99 car wash that includes armor all and interior and exterior. I wish they would hose down my plastic rugs, I'm not sure if they do that. They do have a repeat customer card, so be sure to ask for that. read more

If you enjoy being mistreated by rude, unhelpful, unfriendly, discourteous and even abusive gas station operators who barely speak English, then put this Valero at the top of your list! The gas is NOT inexpensive, the place is often filthy and overcrowded, with no paper towels and squeegee water that's never changed. Of course, it's a convenient location, which is the only reason one would ever go there. But there IS another gas station half a block away. read more

I agree with Jon R. The customer service here is by far so bad it's humiliating. They think they r something special and treat their customers like crap. All the HS kids go her for snacks and it probably infuriates them so they treat everyone else so bad. The workers are jerks and the station is price gauging. They steal from their customers. read more
