I don't know why people are complaining about high prices when gas prices are always high. If you want cheaper prices, go to Costco, an independent station, or walk. The station is always kept clean inside and out, and the staff is friendly. What else could you ask for? read more

I thought it was me, but ohhhh no it ain't. One thing about cars, when you are about to run out gas, you try to go to a gas station that is convenient for you! But damn!!!! Sure Valero was a convenience to stop but not to pump. Well, I stopped here to pump. It so happens this time didn't park my tank next to the pump. So, I went into the store and paid cash! Usually it doesn't matter folks which side you park right?? Like Safeway and Costco....the pump can reach to the tank regardless...NOT!!!! Not here or any valero. SHITE!!!! I was not wasting my time, so I went in got my money back and went down the street. I called the repair shop and spoke to James the shops manager and ask about repairing a flat tire and that I did not have a spare and needed repair as soon as possible. Well he agreed to help me an asked me to bring it into the shop, now I only live 5 blocks away so I carried the tire down to the shop when I met James he was very pleasant and easy to work with. He right there and then stop what he was working and fixed my tire within minutes (5 min) I was out of there and on my way. The price was reasonable and the shop is clean and free of clutter. I have a bone to pick with the two "ahem" reviewers that gave this Valero one star and their stated reasons for doing so. Not the cheapest station around (not an Arco in sight) but my gas light has been on for well over 10 miles now and this place was convenient. I pulled up to the pump with the tank on the correct side (doesn't take a genius). I brought my cash inside (the lady was nice) and pumped my gas. Then I left. Short and sweet - ships passing in the night - that's how I like my interactions with gas stations unless they have a nice full service convenience store attached and then I'm all about settling into a short term relationship. Bad customer service. I needed propane and I saw their four foot tall "Propane" sign out on the sidewalk so I pulled in and asked the cashier girl if I could get my tanks filled. She asked the guy who just came in from the shop, as he was at the soda machine getting a refill, "could you fill a propane tank for me?" He was only three feet away from her. His response was "sorry can't hear ya " as he grinned at her. They let me walk out without a word! I guess they didn't need my money, the soda refills were free! read more

This place is still open, and my receipt for my gas says 7-Eleven, and the gas pricing is Valero. Even though it is open I would just avoid this place at all costs. Today was my third time coming here and even though it's in a convenient location, I now refuse to come here. On my first visit, I got a car wash along with my gas. The machine at the pump was telling me to go inside, see the attendant. I went inside, told them I wanted a car wash and to fill up my tank with $30. The car wash was going to be $12 or so. When he entered the numbers, he put in $50 and unfortunately I didn't notice until after he ran my card. I said, why does it say $50? And he apologized and said he hit the wrong numbers. He gave me cash back. It was annoying, but hey, people make mistakes. Went back to pump my gas and the pump was not ready. I had to go back in and ask him to reset the pump. From when I arrived at the pump and finally finished pumping gas 20 minutes had passed. I went into the car wash and one side of the car wash barely had any soap. So half my car was washed fully and the other side was half washed. On my second visit, because I'm all about second chances, again, when I tried to pay at the pump, it told me to see an attendant inside. This time I was in a hurry and walked in to a long line of people, half who weren't buying anything, so I imagine were getting the same message from the pump. I waited and finally got to the front, and then the guy walked away to look for something. Then he noticed me and came back to take my card. Now, today on my third visit I was in a bit of a time crunch as I was on my way to work, I used a different debit card, hoping I wouldn't have to go inside. Without fail, the machine at the pump (I chose one I hadn't used before) told me to see the attendant. Now, I was pissed. Why can't these machines read my card, why have these out here if they don't even work? I go inside, there's a line. I finally get to the front, tell the man to put $25 and then I see $28 on the screen. I asked him why it said $28 and his response was because I hit the wrong number. This was twice now that someone who worked here (if that wasn't the same man from the first time he "hit the wrong number") had entered a higher amount than I told them. I was livid. Are these guys trying to scam people and hope they don't notice? Are they just careless and press buttons without paying attention? Or do they have a glitch on their computer? EITHER WAY, NEVER AGAIN. I don't trust these people or this gas station, so I'd stay away. If you've experienced any of what I described please write here. Warn people. read more

Not going into any great detail here, it a gas station. But, the other review is unfair, so here you go. Do they have the cheapest prices in town, no - but they are in line with other major brands and a few cents less than what you would pay right next to the freeway. The mini-mart (emphasis on mini...this one is old school) is nothing special...expect to get a candy bar, can of soda and a lottery ticket, that's about all the space they have. But, they have LOTS of space in between the individual pumps making it easy to get in and out around other cars, they have FREE air & water for your tires and such, soap boxes and squeegees at each pump (not one squeegee for all 12 pumps), and they sell Propane on site as well. If I am not filling up at Costco to save some dimes, this station is A-OK. read more

Called and was told propane available until 5pm on weekdays. Stopped by today at 4:45pm and cashier said "the guy" was closing up and wouldn't fill my tank. She double-checked and he confirmed he was done for the day. I had pulled up to see someone else leaving with full tanks but service was denied to me. The car wash was was awful. It confused the two drivers in front of me and I was required to see the attendant inside to reset the machine. He left his food preparation gloves on during the car wash maintenance. The machine left soap on my vehicle. The spotless rise is a total fraud. I see spots. I got a slurpee there two days ago and their "buffalo chicken roller" looked like a warmed over mozzarella stick- gross! read more

This review is just for the car wash and most particularly, the vacuum. Their high-tech vacuum system has some kind of feature that I presume may have been designed to keep the vacuum from sucking up all the dirt on the ground around the vacuum machine if someone hangs it up while there is still time on it. However, this is NOT a very good feature for cleaning your car. It requires that you jam the nozzle into your carpeting or seat fabric before it produces any suction. Somehow there has to be some sort of seal around the edges of the nozzle, which, by the way, is not straight but corrugated so that you have to push the nozzle REALLY FAR into the fabric to generate this seal before it starts sucking up any dirt. If you hold it close to your hand, you will feel no suction whatsoever. So, the vacuum does not work on the sides of the seats to pull up any dirt between the seat and the side of the car, since it is impossible to get any seal. Likewise useless for places like cupholders, etc. Basically, this vacuum does not work well at all for actually cleaning your car. I used it here on Saturday and still had to go to Shell to actually vacuum my car where they had the old style, extremely strong suction vacuum with straight edges on the nozzle. The car wash towels are a nice touch, but clearly an afterthought as you have to go all the way back to the vacuum area at the entrance of the car wash, to find the towels. This is a touchless wash system, so it doesn't really get the car as clean as one that swishes some kind of material all over your car during the wash, Due to space restrictions, when they installed the new wash, there is a very sharp, almost 90 degree turn immediately upon exiting the blowers. Pay careful attention here. Gas is fine but for a car wash, I am going to have to go to Shell a bit farther down the road. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE! I live in the neighborhood behind the station. A few months ago I put $10 of gas in my car. My car is a Prius. $10 is like 1/2 tank. As I pulled away I noticed that my gas needle didn't change. I just figured I was seeing things. About a month later I went there again. I put $10 of gas in my car. As I pulled away, I noticed that nothing registered. I went to a fellow working there and showed him. He said it was probably my gas gauge. But it only happened at this station. I called the owner, and he said that it was impossible and didn't know what else to say. I decided to never go back to this station. So.... just last week I gave my son $10 and told him to get me some gas. He got home and told me that he put the gas in, but the gauge didn't register. I asked him which station he went to. He said VALERO. ARGHHHHHHHHHH!!!! I've now been ripped off for $30 from this station. And now my family knows better than to ever go here again. BE VERY CAREFUL. There is something very wrong with the pumps at this gas station. I've been burned 3 times now... and won't be back again. read more

Ok.....overall, i have had ok experience with this Valero station. #1, they are very convenient. #2, i have taken my car to have my oil checked, which turned out to be virtually empty of oil, and they filled the crankcase at no charge. And #3, they quoted me some service work on my vehickle that was quite competitive. My beef is that i recently required my propane tanks for my BBQ to be filled, and since Valero offers that service, I headed over for a re-fill, a task I have had this Valero do on several occassions to date. But on this visit, they couldn't get their pump to connect with my quick disconnect fittings on my tanks. They tried both tanks, and nada. The fitting are in new condition (seeing that i purchased them last year). One might conclude that the issue is not with my tanks, but with Valero's fitting, which I observed to be out of round and likely the issue. You may say, so what? These things happen, get over it. But, my issue is the attitude I received from the gentlemen who was trying to fill the tank. When I expressed my surprise that he was having a problem, and mentioned that I have had him fill my tanks before, he replied "you see the same thing I'm seeing....it doesn't fit". Oh well. My expectation was that he would show some sign of customer service and apologize and let me know that he would look into it further at a later time. Perhaps he just needs to replace the male fitting of the pump, maybe a $5 item. But no, he recommended I try elsewhere. So I did. I went to the U-Haul in Dublin, and they filled me up no problem. I have no confidence that this guy at Valero is going to investigate any further. i mean, c'mon, I can see if one tank didnt' work, you could argue it was an issue with my fitting. But both tanks not working with his pump? Don't just look at me with a "oh well, can't help you" attitude. So now, U Haul has my propane filling business. Perhaps he was having a bad day...I may even give him the benefit of the doubt and try again next time i need my tanks filled. But in this competitive state of economy, where your customer is your business, my expectations were not realized. All ya gotta do is say, "hey, let me change this nozzle tip when I can get one, cause it doesn't make sense that i used to be able to fill your tanks, and now I can't...try me back next week". maybe he's gonna do it anyways, but it was really the attitude that I received that set me off in writing this review. read more

I use to love this car wash and took all my cars there. The last couple of time it did not wash the side of my cars, in addition it does not indicate the clear coat on the $8 wash and I don't want it because it gets junk on the window. I thought they had fixed the wash since I had seen maintenance being done but NO. I got back to the drying area and once again side and wheels not washed and yet I went through the extra spray at the beginning and No I do not use the brush since that is why I want touchless!. I went inside to let them know and the one guy said nothing and the gal came out to look and asked if I wanted another wash, No, it is not washing the car, she stated did you use the brush first , NO that is why I use touchless to avoid scratching she then stated "well maybe your car was not dirty enough" really! that is the silliest statement I have ever heard. They did finally give me my money back and thank god I printed the receipt since she needed proof. WHAT, you can see who goes into the car wash on your screen. I love this wash when it working but its not and they made no suggestion of having it fixed since it was the fact that my car was not dirty enough. SAD read more
