We came to fill up our gas tank and get a coffee and fountain drink on July 3, 2026 at 11:00 am. The attendant was extremely rude. didn't wanna tell me how much the soda was gonna cost and asked why I wanted to know. The prices were not listed on the soda machine. We got out to our car with the barks root beer and found that it was really flat so we went back inside and said it's really flat. Can I just switch to a Coke and she got out a small cup and she went over to the barks root beer and took a little bit of it and drank a little bit of it and said no it's not and wouldn't give our money back or give us an alternative drink. If you read my last gas station review you will get why this gas station experience was SO GREAT! I Pull in and the lady next to me says "hey, I just got 60 cents a gallon off! Do you want to pump the rest and pay me cash for the difference?" I thought WOW how kind! YES! I would love to share your discount! No "spidey-sense" indicating danger... She pulls the hose over and pumps the gas for me! She said "go look at the screen so you can see how much it is" I looked and verified! Then realized I didn't have enough cash on me, so she says " do you have venmo?" Yes I do! So I venmo her right on the spot! I thanked her and we parted ways! The next time I went to this station, I put in my own Safeway number and the screen offered me 80 CENTS OFF PER GALLON! It charge the higher price and not the discount for using cash ( debit card) I ask the employee and he said you can't tap the card you have inserted it and put in your PIN number. This is the gas station we stop by when we're passing through the Bay Area. It's conveniently off the freeway and the freeway re-entrance is just as close. There are plenty of gas pumps and even when it's busy, the lines move pretty fast. They have a store that sells a wide variety of drinks and snacks. This is my go-to gas station whenever I have to travel to the office. It is conveniently located right off of the Bernal exit off of I-680 North. It does get pretty crowded from time to time, but not as crazy as the lines you see at your local Costco. For those of you who shop at Safeway, it probably makes sense for you to sign up for a Safeway Club Card. You can save anywhere from $.10 per gallon, to $1.00 per gallon! Side note: To get to that $1.00 savings, your qualifying spending has to add up to $1,000. Take note that the $1.00 savings can ONLY be redeemed at Safeway Gas Stations and not Chevron. Conclusion: It's in an ideal location, and the complex is very clean. I'd venture to say that their gas prices are amongst the lowest in the Bay Area! I checked GasBuddy for diesel fuel in the area from Dublin, and this station showed up as the cheapest, as well as being close. Many stations don't have diesel fuel, so I could spend a lot of time driving, trying to find it. Navigation was so helpful. It had me pass Bernal Avenue to turn around at Sunol-Pleasanton Rd., instead of just taking the Bernal Avenue exit. Old information? I guess. Once at the exit, it wasn't difficult to find the pumps--and all of the other cars at the pumps. Amid the chaos, there was order--they had everyone going the same direction, thankfully. When I finally got to a pump, there was someone with the hose and nozzle stretched across the back of his car trying to reach the other side. The price was only $3.679. For diesel fuel, that's inexpensive when most stations are charging over $4.00 still. The process went smoothly, accepting my Safeway Club Card and debit card, filling, and then, with the receipt. There was an employee out making sure things were going smoothly. He said that it was quiet. I'd hate to see the station when it was crazy busy. read more

This gas station is my go to every week! It's newly built, well maintained, and conveniently located. With the Safeway loyalty program it's prices can often be lower than the other neighborhood ones. Very convenient on early mornings that it's open 24/7, even though the accompanying Safeway store is now only open 5am-1am. The plaza also has a Starbucks, Poke, CVS, UPS, dry cleaning, and pure barre, so I find it convenient to fill up here while running errands. The flow of this gas station, like other newly built ones are one direction. However it has really long hoses, so you don't need to wait for a side to open up. read more

If you shop at Safeway and use your phone number or Safeway card, then you should be buying gas there! You save on gas just for buying groceries... (and if you buy gift cards the gas reward is doubled, so buy Safeway gift card, then buy groceries with it)... Often times you get up to $1 off depending on how many rewards you have saved up. I remember having $2.80 off per gallon one day, but I think it's limited now to $1... so when you have the max discount fill the WHOLE TANK and some extra containers if you can. The machines are amazingly slow often, and seem to be slower when it is crowded. That's my only hesitation... The gas is cheap here and this station is conveniently located off the 680 freeway and not far from the fairgrounds. Lots of pumps so never a long wait. There is a big store with all the usual snack and beverages. (Smarter to get some items before going into the fair or other event at the fairgrounds). Pumps are updated since that Safeway is relatively new. Bit tricky getting into and out of the area since the station is located in front of the intersection. Aisle widths are adequate to get in and out of the pumps. Only gripe is that fuel quality may be inferior than other Safeway stations due to the fact that i didn't get the most mileage from a full tank than I normally do at other reputable gas stations. read more

I used to go to the Shell gas station (now Chevron) across the street whenever I was running low, but no more. I don't understand why everyone in the immediate area doesn't get their gas at Safeway? The prices are considerably cheaper. Most of the time its about 20 cents cheaper per gallon (paying by debit card). Sure you can drive all the way to Costco in Livermore to save a couple pennies per gallon, but you'll have waste about 30 minutes round trip in driving and then another 10 minutes waiting in their ridiculously long lines. To make matters better, the lanes at Safeway are nice and wide so I don't need to squeeze through cars to get out if I'm done pumping before the car in front of me. They usually have a fuel lane attendant who guides cars to make it even easier. Pros Summary: 1) Cheaper Gas (Saves me $$$$) 2) Brand new facility with wide lanes and new pumps 3) Friendly Staff 4) Right next to Starbucks which makes getting coffee a breeze read more

I like the fact that this gas station is close to freeway and the price is great compared to rest of local stations. The pumps also have the long hoses for small cars (doesn't help for my truck) so it doesn't matter what side u pull up on. I also like they have a Starbucks close, bank and other needs right in that center. The little gas station convenience store is fine and has the basics but not a big selection like inside the grocery store . This gas station seems to have the cheapest prices in the area. There is usually little to no line. You can save extra money by using a debit card, and by earning gas rewards when shopping in their grocery stores. It's right off the highway which is convenient. I just wish they would use top tier gas. Even Costco and Arco use top tier now. It would also be nice if the air pump could be turned on by the customer, like some other gas stations. I checked with "gas buddy" and found out this place sold cheapest gas in the whole area.
