5280 Hopyard Pleasanton, CA Raja is the best! We locked our keys in our car, with our phones and everything, and he generously let us use his cell phone to look up tow companies and our insurance and talk to our insurance for over a half hour. Probably closer to an hour. He was very patient with us and helped us even when his shift was ending to use the store phone so we could continue having our conversation with the insurance (who couldn't find our policy which was what was taking so long). This gas station has touchless car wash with 3 different wash options. I got the works for $11, the car wash quite long for being a machine operated, it lasted about 5-6 mins. At the end, it gives you about 80-85 seconds to dry your car so that's definitely not enough time!! It got most of the dirt off of my car and it looks pretty clean. But the pressure of the water or maybe the dryer is so high that it DENTED my car! My bf also came here many times but his car was never dented. So I think it depends on how strong your cars metal is! It just dented the trunk area of my Mini Cooper. This is a review of the car wash only, which is a drive-through, stationary car wash. To my knowledge, this is one of the only truly TOUCHLESS car washes in the area - no brushes, cloth scrubbers, etc. BUT, you should check with the station to see that the car wash is working, because, in my experience, it is often NOT working (like today it was out of operation). Also, if you paying by credit card (and not by using a voucher for a free car wash), you need to pay in the store, because the card reader at the car wash entrance does not work. One other tip - after the washing portion is done, drive as slowly as you can through the drying jets, as the degree of drying will be the greatest is you go slowly. read more

Thought I would try a touchless wash since I won't go to any other car wash with those beaters. I read mixed reviews but thought I'd give it a try. I noticed the machine barely spraying anything at first, then it started to spray however mostly on the ground but eventually my car. It last about 6 minutes I think, I got the works at $11. I made sure to drive ever so slowly out of the dryer area as with most car washes. It did a decent job. I will say when I got home my car was not covered in dust but the hood still was dirty. Kinda weird! For a quick job when you're unable to do it yourself it's ok. Would I go again?? Most likely not. The other type of car washes do a better job but I guess that because of the fabric/plastic things that beat the crap out of your paint. All in all, not really worth the price but again in a pinch it will work. Probably opt for the lower price option as it did nothing extra. read more

This Chevron is supremely cheaper than any other Premiun Gas station in the area (the whole bay area)... I mean, really, when gas was peaking $4++ something this station always has the lowest prices, this was the first that I saw to go below $4 when it was frickin ridiculously expensive everywhere else. Plus, the carwash is fun with the tri-color foam wash, although that could be a little less pricey... oh well... They do not go the Extra Mile to help you out here. Their car wash did not work when I tried to use it . Went into the store to get a refund and the store employee told me she could not refund my money because I used the car wash . I explained that the car wash was not working and that I would like a refund . The Employee told me that she could see from the store that my car was washed and that I was trying to rip off the store. The manager told me the car wash had been working recently. I again explained that the car wash was not working that it might looks like I went through but nothing happened. The employee than called me a liar and went out to examine my car. When we got outside it was very clear my car was in fact dirty . She refunded my money after calling me a liar . Enough said. I have a new 2018 car that I always wash by hand. I recently took the vehicle here to get it washed, since it was pretty dusty and I didn't have time to wash it by hand. A few days later, I discovered a dent on the roof. Obviously I have no way of proving it, but I am 99% certain this car wash caused it, as it had only been hand washed up until this point. I figured this car wash would be safe due to being a "touchless" wash, but the high pressure jet of water must have been so powerful that it deflected the metal. Just a word of caution. read more

My wife and I came into this Chervon Gas Station to turn in winning Lotto Scratchers total $120.00 My wife gave the cashier her I.D. but was unaware it expired a couple of days ago. The cashier would not give her the money for the winning scratchers, so i gave the cashier my License which does not expire until 2018 the cashier still would not give us the money. Frustrated and Confused, My wife walked back to the car upset feeling embarrassed in front of the other customers. I decided to called 1-800 Lottery on the back of the scratchers. After talking to a live person for over 15 mins who works with the California State Lottery. The lady on the phone told me "Since you were present with a vaild drivers license the person working at the gas station should give you the money for the winning scratchers regardless if you're wife has a expired license. You have a current valid drivers license. California State Lottery filed my complaint and will be contacting Chevron Corporation for failing to follow the rules & regulations. I also gave the Lotto the cashiers name, location, and time. I then took my winning scratchers to the Dublin Chervon on the other side of the Freeway (Hop yard) and i explained exactly what happen with the Chevron on the corner of Owens Drive & Hopyard. Both Gas attendants said: Dude even though you're wife has an expired license, you have a current valid drivers license to redeem your winnings so i do not see what the big problem is They gave me my $120.00 with no problems! This cashier at Hop Yard / Owens drive refused to talk to the lady on the phone who works for California State Lottery instead he phones his manager (speaking in his language NOT ENGLISH) to where i could understand what he is saying to his boss.
