I used to buy tires from Costco, but after my recent experience with America's Tire in Dublin, I think I've found my new go-to tire shop. While Costco is sometimes a little cheaper, appointments often don't start on time, tire installation can take quite a while, and the tire selection is fairly limited, especially when it comes to all-terrain tires. America's Tire made the entire process incredibly easy and efficient. I ordered my tires online and received regular email and text updates throughout the process. My tires even arrived a day before my scheduled appointment. When I arrived, there were plenty of customers waiting, but they clearly prioritize customers with appointments. I was checked in right on time, my vehicle was brought into the shop about 10 minutes later, and the new tires were mounted and installed in roughly 25 minutes. From check-in to completion, everything was done within about an hour. What impressed me most was the professionalism of the staff. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely understood tires. There was no pressure to purchase unnecessary warranties or extra services, which I really appreciated. Excellent customer service, efficient operations, and a great tire selection. Consequently, my car was ready with no notice and parked way far behind a very tall commercial truck & with no notice!!! I normally don't write reviews, but Dillon Mlynsky at America's Tire in Dublin absolutely earned this one. After a 16-hour shift at the hospital, I ended up with an unexpected flat tire at the worst possible time. I was exhausted, stressed, and just trying to get home safely. Getting towed to America's Tire in Dublin could have made the day even worse, but because of Dillon, it ended up being the best part of the whole situation. Dillon was professional, kind, understanding, and went above and beyond from the moment I got there. He worked with me to find a better tire setup than what I previously had, helped keep it within my budget, and most importantly made sure I got back on the road as quickly and safely as possible. What stood out most was that he didn't treat me like just another customer. He treated me like someone he genuinely wanted to help. That level of service is rare, and it made a huge difference during an already stressful day. I can honestly say this was the best experience I've ever had with any tire shop. Came in midweek, less than an hour before closing time, without an appointment cuz it's not needed to get a free tire air pressure check. Andrew filled the air in all four of my tires and explained that they could repair my left front tire which was significantly low in air, at no cost. Awesome! While checking my vehicle in, he proceeded to offer me a deep discount on replacements for two of my tires with very low tread depth that would need to be changed very soon regardless. No pressure, he just wanted to give me the option. I decided it was in my best interest to take the deal, especially as I happened to not be in a hurry on this day. Turns out, they took care of everything quickly anyway, less than a 30-minute wait for my car to be ready. Andrew even provided helpful reminders, like how a tire rotation is recommended every 5k-8k miles to help the tires last longer, and that they do it here at America's Tire for free. Friendly and professional service, quick turnaround time, discounted price, AC in the waiting area to stay cool on this warm and sunny afternoon... I couldn't have asked for anything more. read more

I'm a long-term customer of America's Tire Company in Dublin, CA. I went in with a positive attitude, happy to be getting new tires. I had an appointment. I arrived on time. They reported that my tires had not been delivered to the store. I showed them the confirmation email and order number, indicating that the tires had been delivered yesterday. They found the tires. This was my first bad experience of the day. I left the car to have the tires installed and got a voicemail saying that my TPS sensors (tire pressure sensors) in 3 of the 4 wheels could not be "retrained" and that I would either have to buy new sensors from them or "roll with" the error code on my dashboard. I told them I couldn't believe that all 4 had been working this morning, when I drove in, but 3 suddenly had battery failures at the same time during tire installation. I quizzed them on how they had attempted to retrain the sensors. They claimed to have done it the right "Chevy" way and to have attempted multiple frequencies. I asked if they had used 315 MHz, which was indicated on the sensors when I bought them in October 2024 *and had them installed at America's Tire Company, Dublin!*" They tried again, but I ended up leaving with indicators on my dashboard showing that all four sensors (not just 3) were not giving any tire pressure readings. So now I'm going to buy a reset tool from Amazon to try it myself. I'll update this review tomorrow if the reset tool works, which would be 100% confirmation that the techs at America's Tire don't know how to reset TPS sensors ... amazing since that's a core part of their job. Finally, I noticed some new scratches on my rims. The car is 10 years old, so whatever, but don't take your newer car there if you want to maintain clean rims. To summarize, 3 problems today: (1) tires not found, (2) TPS sensors not reset, and (3) rims scratched. I'll be finding another tire store. UPDATE 8/7/26: I bought a TPS reset tool from Amazon, put my Chevy Volt into TPS Learning Mode, and reset all 4 sensors on the first attempt. Problem solved. How is it possible that America's Tire can't reset these sensors, which they originally installed? Pics Attached. In two pictures, my dashboard is throwing an error about the TPS system. America's Tire is awesome! Very well organized check in process. I stopped by the tire shop to see if they could top off the air pressure in my daughter's car because the low pressure warning light was on. I initially went inside the store to inquire about this and the associate told me I just needed to go around to the side of the shop and drive through the bay. They have free air pressure check and fill up with no appointment necessary. They have a dedicated drive through lane! What amazing customer service! The guys inside the shop immediately helped me and topped of the air pressure in all four tires. I'm definitely going to consider them the next time I need tires. read more

After talking to the manager and a 3rd party management company, America's Tire took responsibility and paid the cost to fix both the scratches on my wheels due to improper installation. Very professional, but the staff still needs some training. Tires have been great. read more

I have been going to America's Tire for years for all our cars' tire needs. I have never been let down whether purchasing tires, getting lifetime tire rotation services or going through its complimentary drive-thru tire air service. I always get top notch service. And it's not just this location. When we were in Southern California, our car rental had a flat tire. We happened to see an America's Tire branch and drove there. But it was already 5:58pm, 2 minutes to closing. Somebody from the inside ran out to our car and asked if we needed service. They fixed the tire free of charge and said the tire didn't need replacement. They didn't even want to accept a tip! read more

Terrible customer service! I arrived at 2:30pm. Two people ahead of me in line. One the employee took my name and said have a seat and we will be right with you. After waiting an hour in their lobby, no one called my name to help. I then got the attention of another employee and they had no idea that I was even there. After all that time waiting, they didn't even have my tires in their inventory. I will Never, Ever do business with America's Tire Ever again. I'm going to stick with Les Schwab for here on out. I was able to pick it up the next day at no charge due to them being able to salvage my tire. Prompt, cheerful and professional. From the fellow who measured tire tread (Mike) to the fellow who drove the car out (Alex) I'm shaking my head in wonderment at how this location has found such incredible employees! Pretty bummed to write this review but just left this location after an almost four hour wait. I came in around 9:50am for a normal tire rotation. Was told after a quick inspection that I might need an alignment as well, cool, happy to wait if needed, especially since I was a walk in. Got a text message that my car was done at 11:54am. Saw my car parked outside but no one called my name so I waited a couple more mins. Finally decided I check in after 10 mins or so. Only to find out that they had just completed the tire rotation and still needed to do the alignment :/ sat back down, waited some more. Asked for another update at 1pm since my car was still in the same parking spot. Finally got called around 1:35pm with no real explanation for why it took so long or an apology, which was a bummer. 6/100 read more

Car needed new tires. Decided to go with OEM tire for the car. Searched for tires and found different pricing (best price did not include installation). Searched for installation in my area. Arrived at America's Tire website . The website presented an option to have them price match the tire purchase. I followed the process and submitted my request. Later that day received a quote for install at the Dublin location and they matched the tire purchase price. Went ahead and paid online which triggered the tire order and the appointment scheduling. I have been a customer of Americas Tires for over 20 years. Now, my son is one. We get our tires rotated regularly. This location goes above and beyond. Garrett is amazing. Hooked me up with a wonderful recommendation for another car spot that does alignments, brakes, electrical, etc. He's a real one! The quality is always grand and the price is pretty perfect. America's tire is always my go to for new tires. Prices are decent, they're honest about the various brand ratings and comparability to one another. They take the time to understand my priorities to help me make my decision. I usually lean toward Michelin but for my Honda Yokohama turned out to be the better all around choice. The new text feature that lets you track progress is fabulous, so you're not stuck sitting in the waiting room. It does get pretty busy there so have a plan. You can go for a walk, head over to Mimi's Chocolate for a treat or Caps n Taps, maybe shop the hot tubs at Dublin Swim Spa :) read more

Very disappointed with Michael (The Service Writer) I've been a customer for almost 20 years and have always loved this business , I brought my car in for a very minor slow leak in tire repair (A very small screw on top of tire tread, See photo) and Michael informed me that he might not be able to repair and that I need 4 new tires at this time ? I understand that "Sales" is how you make your money but this is just trying to take advantage of a customer , He informed me that if he tried to repair the tire and couldn't I would have to buy a new tire or replace with spare tire ? Had an appointment because my rear tire was constantly lower pressure than the others. For a while my tire pressure light kept going off, I would pump it pray and go about my business but noticed this kept happening too often. Costco wanted to charge $15 just to inspect the tire. These guys in one hour took a look and found a nail. They apparently patched it and said it'd be good until the lifetime of the tires. Not sure if that's true or not but my tires still had excellent tread. I hope it's true because it was really nice of them to offer to patch it (it was free?), versus conning me into replacing it. It felt honest, but we will see how far the tire lasts on a patch? I've always just replaced the tires. read more

Thomas at Dublin America's Tire was incredibly kind and professional, turning a negative experience with Goodyear ElectricDrive 2 tires purchased from America's Tire into an incredibly positive one. I had started to experience a major vibration when driving my car, and had been to America's Tire three separate times to rebalance. I finally took a day off to try and figure it out; I came in for a morning rebalance and when I tested it the vibration was still there! I took it back and Thomas said that returns for service were less than 1% for his team: he took the time to troubleshoot, identify the issue (foam separating from the adhesive on the inside of the tire), and remediate it (replacing the tires). Excellent customer service is incredibly rare these days; thank you for taking the time to help me. read more

This America's Tire location is near the freeway, so it is easily accessible. They have a spacious shared parking lot as well. Service was good here, we were promptly helped when we arrived and our advisor was friendly. My bf had an appointment for a tire rotation and we expected it to be at least a couple of hours, as we were quoted. Literally an hour later or even less, we were informed that his car was ready. The mechanic at the store told me there was a nail in the tire and that the wheel was broken. This was especially surprising because I had just replaced the tire at the same store only two weeks earlier. They quoted me $700 to replace the wheel. When I explained that it was a leased vehicle and that I needed to check with the dealer first, they said they would remove the nail and repair the tire instead. However, they did no actual repair work on the tire -- they simply added some air and returned the car to me. When I took it to the dealer, they confirmed that the wheel had no damage or problems at all but the nail is still on the tire. It appears this store tried to pressure me into an unnecessary $700 wheel replacement. Most wheels for my vehicle cost around $180. I believe they are attempting to scam customers by recommending expensive replacements even when the existing parts are in good condition. read more

If you happen to park your car outdoors, chances are you'll get the low tire pressure warning sign more frequently than if you parked inside the garage. Two-car garages these days only fit your spouses car plus all the junk accumulated over years. When that dreaded orange light comes on and you're in the Tri-Valley, I highly recommend making a beeline to the Dublin America's Tire. They have a dedicated tire technician running a drive-thru service who will balance your tire pressure for free. There could be 3-5 cars ahead of you but at worst it'll be a 10-15 minute wait without you leaving the car. Fast, efficient service! The San Ramon location is LESS preferable. They don't have a dedicated technician and they force you to park in a specific spot where they'll do your air check if they have resources. Waits could be 30 min plus in my experience. I once saw an impatient Tesla driver do a self service and he probably over-inflated his tire before speeding off. read more

I've been coming here for tire for the last 5 years since moving back to the area. I stay loyal to this establishment because customer service is impeccable. They carry a good selection of tires at a fair price point and have always gone way above and beyond to be helpful after the sale. I've had nails, screws etc and they always fix them for free or replace the tire for free if they can't fix it (get the extra protection certificate it's worth it). I'm waiting on 4 hours. And my car hasn't moved from the parking lot. Long wait lines...not enough Customer Service reps. Downright horrible. Most likely won't be coming back. I can't say enough about my experience here. First, I appreciate that they greet and track everyone coming in so no one is overlooked. This is important because they do a lot of business, especially on the weekends. I first came in to get some help in deciding which tires to put on my trailer. My tires were ordered, and as agreed, I made an installation appointment when they called me to confirm that the tires had arrived. They even checked the date on the tires for me, as trailer tires can suffer from 'warehouse fatigue' and sit for long periods before being installed. Fresh rubber it is. On the day of the install, I arrived 15 minutes early to check in. I handled the advisor a small to-do list of items - tire pressure, torque spec, metal valve stems, and a new set of lug nuts I brought with me. They told me that it would be done in an hour, and an hour it was. When the advisor returned, he verbally confirmed that each and every item had been done. Suffice to say that these fine folks exceeded my expectations. I have gotten used to expecting to leave my car for hours on end just for a tire rotation, even with an appointment at 'the other guys'. We requested a tire rotation and balance on our Model Y. We made an appt and when we got there, we turned in our keys and our car went in and it was done in no time. Not too mention, when they pulled the tire off, they found a tire with a nail and repaired it no charge. Rotated it and I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. That's the way to go! Excellent customer service here. I found a nail on my car earlier today, went to Costco and was referred here by Costco. The customer service here is top notch. Everyone who assisted us from check in, to service, to the free tire pressure check were friendly, knowledgeable, and swift. Everyone assisted with a smile on their face and they gave very good advice on my tire. In summary,, they pulled out the nail on my tire, checked to see if air was still leaking (the nail was at a "borderline" spot), and recommended us to go back to our dealership to see if they may cover under warranty (it's a relatively newer car). Then checked the pressure for all 4 tires for us and did a visual inspection... all services did not cost us a dime! They recommended the best course of action for US, and did not try to upsell or push any sales. What an honest, delightful, and refreshing business to deal with! Unbelievable. We are very happy with America's Tires and they just earned a loyal customer... we will now come to AT's for all of our tire needs. read more

Ordered a tire a month ago a paid a deposit and was specifically told it would be ready for pick up since I would be installing the tire myself. When I went to pick up the tire they gave extreme attitude stating "I took too long to pick up" but they never called to say it was ready? Definitely a terrible experience with these guys and will be canceling our fleet account with them. read more

This happened to me for the second time, same exact story. I went to America's Tire with a flat tire, and the salesperson and I inspected it together, finding the object that caused the flat. The salesperson initially said it was repairable, but after they took the car to the shop, they came back and showed me a second hole that made the tire irreparable, requiring a new tire purchase. Given the identical circumstances, it's practically impossible this happened by chance - it raises suspicions about America's Tire's business practices. read more
