What a great little gem, the owner is really nice and welcomes you as if you were friends at his home. He sat with us, and even showed us the updates that are coming, that place will look amazing. The only thing they need to improve on is the signs on the road, both our friends and I went to the driveway on the other side, and we thought that the place was right on the road (where the sign is) so we both almost left thinking that it was closed. There is no food, just popcorn, which is good and freshly made, however, you can bring your own food. The ambiance is relaxed and fun. It's a good place to meet people when you seat family stile. We will be back.

This place just gets better and better with subsequent visits. Bartender Nyx is an absolute alchemist when it comes to concocting mead cocktails. I'm not entirely sure she couldn't turn Rumpelstiltskin's straw into gold! There's a ton to try here, from a wide array of meads (some barrel aged), to farmhouse ales (I'm a sucker for the saison noir), to mead mixed drinks that do an incredible job of imitating standard spirit based cocktails like a Moscow mule, whiskey sour, or Long Island iced tea (the latter of which is made with four different meads). They are seeking investors right now to facilitate expansion. They are promising a 1.7xreturn on investment, and plan on investing the funds to renovate the tasting room, for a beer with Union City brewery, open a distillery (Enniskillen Distillery), expand their selection of Norse Nectar products, and create an outdoor seating area, which is a must amidst a pandemic and with the summertime coming up. That said, I feel safer here than just about anywhere else because the tables are so expansively spread apart and it is such a high ceilinged warehouse that you don't feel like you're going to breathe in someone else's air. So basically, if you're flush after the last stimulus and want to support local, it's not a bad option to be part of a helluva cool joint! The location is a little quirky, but it does end up being the Goldilocks just right for us because it's halfway between our place and downtown. There's plenty of parking, the bathrooms are clean, and it's sort of a cheers vibe (or a Skol vibe, perhaps!) for townies. I always see someone I know here!

I had been meaning to try this place for months, and we finally went yesterday. When you first walk in, it's unassuming. But you do not even NEED fancy decorations to enjoy yourself. I got a flight of mead and also sampled other friends' meads and cocktails and was astonished, it's so great. One of the owners hung out with us, told us more about the meads and the processes and the plans for their new space. They sell Pagan and Nordic merchandise and I almost needed a shopping cart. This was the highlight of my week!

This is what it's all about. Local, small businesses with quality product. We came in based on recommendations and happily tried their flight of everything (for 2 people only, considering the high ABV). The meads are clearly crafted with passion and knowledge, and shoot, are they tasty! Careful, they'll creep up in you! If you visit in the fall, be sure to enjoy the Idunn, it's an instant classic. The viking folk music playing in the background brings the theme & culture together. Can't wait to see how this places continues to evolve as I'm sure it's popularity will grow.

A newer hidden gem of a place! The mead is amazing! And mead cocktails - oh my goodness those are a treat!

So damn delicious!!! If you aren't drinking their mead, you are missing out!!

What a cool place! I'm unsure what it has to do with Shakespeare (I thought there would be some…read moresort of theme, but didn't seem apparent). The service was great! We were seated right away and our server was very attentive. We started with the cheese curds and some beers. The selection of beers was huge! Beers are reasonably priced and the curds were delicious. Wasn't a huge fan of the ranch, but the marinara was very flavorful. I got the small southwest nachos. It was still big enough for 2 meals. These were amazing! The queso is made from scratch and really elevates the dish. All other ingredients were fresh and delicious. My friend had the dill club sandwich and said it was great as well! Overall a fantastic experience. Would definitely return.

Went to watch some March Madness basketball at Shakespeare's while in town a couple of months ago…read more We were able to grab a seat wherever we wanted in the upstairs bar area (the lower level is a music venue). Our server brought over some free popcorn and we ordered drinks. They had some deals going on ($1.50 off New Belgium beers). There were plenty of TVs to watch and the vibe was pleasant. As it got busier, our server disappeared more, but we weren't in a hurry. We got the small order of southwest nachos for a snack to share - these were really good. I was kind of surprised at how small the order was honestly, but it was fine to split between the two of us. The chips were crispy, the toppings were plentiful, and I loved the cheesiness. Overall we had a good experience and I'd stop in again to catch a game.

Restaurant Name: hub tavern and grill Dish: woodfire Pizza…read more-loaded fries- cheesy bread Price: 67$ Date Visited:3/9/26 First Impressions: The overall ambiance of The Hub Is warm and cozy and a great place to meet up socially when it comes to friends it's in an easy to locate area with parking nearby. Presentation - 8/10 Pretty standard presentation for the pizza nothing to out of the ordinary. Taste & Flavor - 8/10 The Meat-za had a good flavorful balance -The sauce could have been a little bit better, The cheese bread was great by far my favorite dish was probably the loaded fries they were well seasoned a perfect amount of cheese and a great amount of pulled pork. I will say my favorite part was probably their old fashioned it was very well prepared The flavors are a direct match and it was made correctly. Freshness- All of our food was freshly prepared and still warm when it came out to us- The drinks took a little bit longer but that's a given. Portion Size - 10/10 The appetizers we ordered were filling enough to where me and my husband only ate half of the pizza and took a little bit of everything home with us I would say it's well worth the price. Value for Money - 7/10 For the pizza it was 20 bucks The old fashioned I ordered was 11 which is a little bit more than most places charge in my area but the quality was good The cheese bread was a little expensive for the ingredients they used. The loaded fries were well worth their price. ‍ Service - 6/10 Our server was friendly however he was a little too friendly and got a little too close to us and made us feel a little uncomfortable he wasn't on top of things but it seemed he had a lot on his plate so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. Overall Rating: 8/10 Final Verdict: I would go back here for the appetizers and drinks as a social gathering or as just a get together with friends they do have a good atmosphere and it seems like a lot of people come here to relax after work. Overall I would say it's a good place to come and try a good wood fired pizza.
