Immediately after signing the contract (and I mean literally, *immediately* after) there was a dramatic switch. We were locked in and they knew it. Caveat emptor. The three years of coverage was periodically marked by technical issues that were a pain to coordinate and resolve. Our outdoor storage shed got burgled a couple of times and interacting with True Protection I just remember having the sense that they did not GAF, to be blunt. The alarm system, and monitoring was a nuisance and source of stress. You will be better served with a DIY solution from Best Buy that does not rely on locking yourself in to these contracts. It is incredibly rare for me to bother giving a negative review. I try to review small businesses I interact with who do great work. When I saw the email soliciting reviews in my inbox, I was kinda shocked. Looking at all the glowing reviews, I found myself agreeing with another reviewer who thought this was deluged with friends and family pumping the numbers. It's just hard for me to imagine a company that consistently delivered such a poor customer experience for multiple years could have these glowing reviews. I I will say it again: prior to signing the contract they are amazing. After you sign it is all downhill. Beware.

Now, when we moved forward with installing cameras and speakers we discovered that the wires they installed were stapled in place and run against the wall behind the spray foam insulation. NONE of the wiring worked, it is all broken and unusable. To make matters worse they said they could fix and install what we wanted for 6k. A full 4k more than the next lowest bid. AVOID!

Security One allowed someone who is not family call in and change the codes on my father's home without showing any proof as to who they were or what their relation to my father was. The codes were changed again two days after my father passed, again without checking proof that my father actually died, who they were and what their relation to my father was. I really have to repeat this: they DID NOT check ID's at all, ask for proof of death, or relationship. When the codes were changed/deleted it effectively locked me out of my father's home and allowed a non family member open access to all his personal effects, including cash, jewelry and guns. And just to make it absolutely clear: my father, at the time of his passing, was unmarried/single and living alone. The two people that added themselves to his account THE DAY AFTER HIS PASSING were merely on the emergency call list. That does NOT entitle them access to his home, to change/add/delete security codes and to add themselves to his account. I find it down right scary that a security company would allow this to happen and would make sure to choose a company that actually cares about the safety of their customers and their families in such a time. I have contacted S1 many times over the last few months requesting full logs of all of the entries to my father's home for the day and month after his passing and they refuse to release this information to me unless I pay them a ridiculous amount of money. This information is needed for detectives to research the case that has been opened into the burglary of my father's home. Due to S1's negligence and general apathy, my father's home was ransacked and burgled. Stay FAR away from this company.

Excellent experience with Fusion Networking & Technology!…read more I had been dealing with a frustrating combination of ISP dropouts and reliability issues with my UniFi routers and access points--multiple times a day, it seemed like something was going down. Cris came right out, diagnosed the underlying issues, and helped me switch ISPs to get a much more seamless connection into the house. He also installed a more robust UniFi UDM-SE, which has made the system much more reliable while also giving me room to expand with additional access points, cameras, and other devices in the future. What has really stood out, though, is the follow-up. The team has been incredibly helpful with remote troubleshooting whenever something does come up, which gives me a lot of peace of mind. The biggest difference? Problems are now the exception rather than a multiple-times-a-day occurrence. And when something does happen, it's generally the ISP--not the network system itself failing like it was before. Great service, knowledgeable team, and excellent ongoing support.
