Easy seating, i cake fairly close to closing so i did few the service lacked just a little as the one waitress was focused on a bigger party yet she didn't keep up with the beers she just asked how many we had. Absolutely infuriating. The food is expensive and flavorless and served by a waiter who could not, under any circumstance, have possibly cared any less. I took a bite of my beef taco and began to get angry. I took a bite of my chicken taco and was good and irked. Any place that serves cole slaw with your Mexican meal has already made it clear, blindingly, sparklingly, dazzlingly clear that what they serve is a flavorless, cheap bastardization of Mexican food rather than the real thing. The horchata sucked, the attitude sucked. I paid my bill and nearly ran out of the restaurant. And I was so chapped that I decided I had to get that taste out of my mouth. 3 of the 4 meals we ordered came out together and were fine. I took a risk and ordered fish tacos wanting something light and fresh. It didn't come out, had to ask and they seemed confused like they had forgotten we had even ordered it (write it down maybe). Listen. It's a Mexican restaurant in the middle or rural Kansas. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal consisting of the Pollo Loco with complimentary chips and salsa. Read some reviews that said the salsa was too watery. It definitely has a thin consistency but great flavor. The pollo loco is grilled chicken cut into strips topped with ground chorizo and topped with melted queso. Amazing. Sadly, this was not what we expected with a four star rating and local recommendation. The chips are warm and the salsa ok but that was the best of the meal. Chicken Fajitas came with a weird bbq type sauce on them and what little peppers and onions there was was burned. The beans were runny and Rice a Roni makes much better rice!
