The place has great salsa and the food was good. The waiter was friendly but a bit skippy/spacey. In the receipt says to separate the Plato loco in 3 portions and it wasn't. DO NOT GET THE SOPAPILLA ! It's a disgrace. Isn't the normal fluffy dough that you know love instead it's just a flat literal piece of tortilla fried oblivion with some over processed chocolate syrup and nasty strawberry, artificial ice cream. read more

We stopped in for a late lunch on Friday after my sons OCS graduation, and noticed others did too. We enjoyed a round of spicy margs on the rocks with my requested tajin rims. Drinks were good, food hit the spot. I had a beef taco, chicken enchilada combo plate. My son had a quesadilla of some sort. The chips and salsa were fresh and tasty. This is probably the closest Mexican restaurant to the base and since we haven't been able to enjoy our fav hometown place in a bit, it was nice to dine here. Great service! read more

Ordered al Pastor taco and veggie fajitas. The taco was delicious, however, the fajitas came out and were microwaved steamed veggies. They didn't resemble fajita veggies at all. I ended up ordering additional al Pastor tacos and sending back the "fajita" entree. I'm not sure what happened with the veggies but after asking they did say what was brought out was their fajita veggies. I would go back but will not order the fajitas. read more

The first two times I tried it I was not a fan at all but I tried em a few more times and while I wouldn't order the quesadillas a lot of the other options have been really good, we really like the Columbus burrito, street tacos, chips and salsa, and the molcajete. Order tortilla soup and it's no where near authentic. There wasn't any use of guajillo sauce nor sliced tortillas or black beans. Instead they used the chips you get to dip salsa. Basically it broth with tomatoes, slice onions, a few pieces of avocado, rice and chunks of chicken or beef. I also ordered a beef burrito and got chicken instead. The food taste alright just wasn't what I order nor expected. For a soup and a burrito with no sides and 2 drinks came out to $32.98. Should have been at least under $25 for everything. read more

The place is really, really ridiculously cheap and seems to have a lot of liquor stocked up. The beer selection they have is very authentic, one of my co-diners ordered a beer that seemed very, very exported from Mexico. The horchata was pretty good, not too sweet and came in a HUGE glass. The food, was okay I had the carne asada which was surprisingly tough. The weird thing was that it was sliced very thinly and yet took so long to cut through-the knife they gave me had no screws in the grip which made it a difficult to say the least. I'm willing to give it another shot since it was so cheap and the torta looked delicious. read more

This restaurant is a great little treasure that we found after my son's graduation from Fort Benning basic training. He wanted to take us out to eat after the ceremony and he wanted Mexican. My mom remembered passing this place on the way to the National Infantry Museum, so we thought we check it out. Turns out, this is quite the popular place with the military and civilians in Columbus. LOL I had the chicken chimichangas - all white meat, tender and juicy. My mother had a quesadilla with chicken, steak & shrimp - tons of meat, cooked to perfection (she said it was so delicious she was tempted to lick the plate). The beans and rice were fresh and tasty and the guacamole was as good as homemade (not a puree, but fresh and chunky). Daughters had the enchiladas - no complaints, they were very happy, and my son had a California burrito which was huge. He said he was completely satisfied and that's good enough for me. My daughters were unable to finish their dinners, but the waiter had no problem boxing up the leftovers and packed them nicely in a bag with forks (!) so we could eat them on the way home. If we are ever in Columbus GA again, we are absolutely coming back. Definitely will recommend this place to others in the area! read more

After a long hike at Providence Canyon, we were starving and stopped for dinner. The staff was friendly and we got seated right away. The chips and salsa were brought quickly and they were delicious!
