We rented the limo for 6 hrs during memorial weekend. Sonia was great and very accommodating. I accidentally locked my car keys in my car and she was nice enough to drop off half the group at one winery and then return back to pick us up without any complaint or trouble. Not reliable at all. I have been using their service for years and even recommended them to friends & family. But they don't value good customers. They were supposed to pick us up yesterday and confirmed it day before; but when I called when we landed the airport I was told to call again once we get our luggage so I called again and I was informed that our ride is on the way just little delayed due to traffic. After 1 1/2 hour I called Tom (owner) again to follow up, he asked me how many of us in the party which is stupid because he knows. Then next thing he told me they can only fit 1 person, they can't pick us up anymore and we will need to find a different ride. Not even apologetic about it or tried to make up. They communicated well about date, times, and that I would have to pay an extra fee for gratuity prior to event day. She did her best to keep us on schedule. I would recommend this service. We took this limo to Napa for the day and were provided with 2 decent bottles of champagne and plenty of water. Our driver Louis was very friendly and accommodating. He called 15 min before he arrived to find out our first 2 stops. He even stopped an bought us a bottle opener on the way home so that we could drink a bottle of wine we had bought at one of the wineries. Gave is a sob story about how he won't get any of the pre paid tip we charged originally, 180$ tip!!! We felt bad but we only had 20$ cash to tip so we gave it to him. Summary: after the experience we had with this company, I wouldn't use their services again even if it was free. Our chief complaints were: - The phone operator doesn't speak or understand English. After 3 phone calls trying to set up a date/time, we were finally successful in scheduling our trip via email. If we hadn't bought a groupon, we would've bailed sooner - but they essentially already had our money. - The day ended with a nasty confrontation with the driver (who said he's the owner). He demanded an additional $200 in cash and was very insistent and unreasonable about it. More details: - The groupon didn't say anything about a minimum tip but he was relentless that the minimum is $100. You're not supposed to tip the proprieter of a business (he said he was the owner), but we did so and felt we were being very generous in doing so. - He then proceeded to demand an additional $100 for being a half hour late. We refused to pay this, which lead to an argument. Our rationale was: 1) We were in the limo at the time he said we had to leave. 2) He took a different route home and PICKED UP A WOMAN ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD on the way back, without asking permission or giving an explanation. This is undoubtedly the reason we were late because there was very little traffic. 3) He was continually unprepared during the trip. We provided the winery names in advance, per their company's request, and he brought the list of names but didn't bring their addresses. We looked up the first address on our phone and gave it to him. When we came out of the first winery, we told him we were ready to go and the car didn't leave for several minutes. Turns out he still hadn't looked up the addresses (during the hour we were wine tasting) and was flipping through a Napa magazine looking for an advertisement by our next winery so he could get the address from the magazine. I booked vallejo airporter for a girl's winetasting trip in Napa. I purchased it on Groupon and was a little nervous about what I'd get. Our driver Soniya was fantastic. The limo was clean and equipped with water and sparkling wine. The company was reliable and was friendly. Soniya went the distance by taking photos for us to recommended a lovely place for lunch. She waa by far the friendliest limo driver I've had. I will definitely call them again for future trips. read more

The limo showed up nearly 2 hours late, which meant we had to cancel reservations and rearrange our day--a day that was to celebrate a special occasion. Referring to it as bad service is an understatement!! The limo had been reserved and the reservation confirmed prior to the date. I wonder how this company manages to stay in business! Highly recommend Vallejo Airporter- had a great experience from first phone call to our drop off. I noticed a Groupon deal for a 6 hours and 2 bottles of champs for $495, including all fees and tip. Since we were very limited on the dates we could use it I decided to call the company first to make sure they had availability for us. The man I spoke with was extremely nice- had me set up everything right then with him on the phone and even upgraded us to the limo van for the same price. I'm SO happy he did- the van was easier to get in and out of, and more room for the group. The only suggestion is to have their A/C looked at. It got pretty warm that day and the A/C couldn't keep up with the sweaty ladies- got a little unbearable towards the end of the day. BUT Other than that I would totally recommend them. Sonya was our driver- such a beautiful and sweet young lady. She was flexible and plugged in our destinations into her GPS as we went- loved her! She also kept us on track by being our time keeper for the appointments we had set up. Loved everything about it and cannot wait to use them for our next trip back! read more

Bought a Groupon then called the company to add an extra person and was told our group of 9 would need the extended limo and the charge was an extra $75.00. That seemed fair but when we added a 10th person and I called to make sure the 9 person limo would seat 10 I was told again another $75.00 charge. The extended limo did not arrive but the regular 8 person limo did. Our party was scrunched and we were hanging on to the roof during turns. An extra charge per person is fine if the car seats everyone we paid for. The only rule the driver mentioned to the group was to make sure the champagne glasses were put back in their places. The driver was fine, arriving a few minutes early for our pick up and dropping us off a few minutes early to our final destination. We ended up waiting a bit when we called for each pick up. The $110.00 automatic gratuity was acceptable. At the end of the trip the driver immediatly checked to see if the 12 champagne glasses were in place and told us one glass was missing and there would be a charge of $20.00. Obviously this was a scam to get another $20.00 in gratuity. This ended our lovely day on an upsetting and sour note. I would not use this company again. read more

I recently purchased the Groupon, six hour wine tour for nine, in September 2013. I had no problems reserving the date of my choice but while making the reservation on the phone, I was told of an additional $100 fee (gratuity); on top of the $375 I had already paid for the Groupon price. I would think that this "fee" would have been included in the Groupon deal or if I were to include gratuity that it would be up to my discretion. On the day of my reservation, the driver did not even attempt to find my house, but rather waited at the bottom of my hill, causing him to be a few minutes late. Finally on our way to the first winery, the driver proceeded to take the longest route to the first winery, causing us to be behind schedule eventually resulting in paying for an additional hour. Our driver, Chris, was very unprofessional and did not listen to any of our requests. We told him about the wineries we had reservations at along with times, and upon our arrival at these wineries proceeded to tell the winery personnel that we did not have reservations and the wrong number of people. Chris also did not open the limo door at any of the wineries, and proceeded to call me at each of the wineries asking if we were ready to leave. Once back at our pick-up location, I approached Chris and asked him to go through the limo and tell me if there was any damage that I should be aware of. He told me that there were two broken champagne glasses, of which I paid him for ($20/each), and he left. No more than 30 minutes after being dropped off at our pick-up location, did I receive four calls saying that a ceiling mirror inside the limo was broken and that Chris was returning to our pick-up location with his boss. Chris and his boss continued to accuse my party of breaking this mirror when I clearly asked the driver, before he left, to go through the limo and note any damages (only the two champagne glasses were mentioned). Upon our initial pick-up, the driver of the limo did not go over anything in the limo, nor did he do any sort of walk-thru. I would not recommend this limo service company to anyone. I was very unhappy with the quality of service I received and would recommend that this company be avoided at all costs. read more

If this is the same company (CA Airporter) out of Vallejo CA, this company is terrible. First we took a flight from SFO to Cancun Mexico. Since we were leaving very early in the morning they said we would probably be alone on the shuttle (4 adults 8 luggage) they showed up in a OLD minivan that barely accommodated us all and our luggage, don't know how they would have expected to squeeze anyone else in there. The trip to SFO felt like the van was going to tip over or the driver didn't know how to drive. Anyway we were on our way on vacation so I let it go. Upon arriving back in SFO 9 days later I called them from the runway when we landed at 2:50pm. They sounded like they didn't know who I was but then said OK we will have some one there at 4pm. I said ok well we have to get out luggage first anyway. we waited and waited, no call, called them back at 4:10pm they told me the driver had had a flat tire and they would have to send another driver and it would take over an hour!!! Are you kidding me!! He was rude and unaccomodating, I will NEVER use this company again and would suggest that you do not either!! Cheaper is not always the best!!! read more

We called approximately 10 days prior to the date we needed to be picked up at SFO, then called back about 5 days later when our airlines changed our flight times. During both conversations, we confirmed that our flight from Miami arrived in the morning. When we landed at SFO after a 6 hour flight, we called Vallejo Airporter to advise that we were on the ground and to ask where we were to meet the shuttle. The man who answered the phone hemmed and hawed, then gave us three different excuses as to why the shuttle was not even close to the airport (the van broke down, there was traffic enroute, etc.) He told us the van driver would call us right back and let us know when he would be at the airport. We waited for 15 minutes, then called back. This time, we got an answering machine. After about a half hour, we finally got a call from the same man who told us that someone had made a mistake and they had us down for a pickup in the evening. He said no one would be coming to get us and we needed to find another way to get home. We finally did manage to catch a ride to our home town on another shuttle, then had to take a cab to our house. We will NEVER deal with this company again. read more
