My experience so far has been great, I came in for an Exam & X-rays. Which turns out I need fillings. Appointment was scheduled for July 7th. However I got to come in sooner. Worst is the experience of my life. Got to my appointment on time at 1 and had my baby. Because I'm a single mom. Dr wasn't even there. No one told me. 1:35 I asked is the DR coming don't I made my Invisalign appointment at 3 so I won't go without my trays. Dr wasn't there! He didn't arrive until 1:55pm By than my baby is fussy I'm worried about my next appointment Dr comes in doesn't say sorry or anything in that matter... Starts doing my root canal I gagged on something that feels like going down my throat. Got up my baby was kinda crying.... So I got her and asked if she was ok And stated I know we have been here over an hour already.... Dr got mad and responded I had a dr. Appointment So I said you scheduled a patient when you have dr appointments? And you came in and didn't even say sorry or anything. I have a baby with me. They did an excellent job here the first time I came here so I paid a lot more to have PPO insurance because they were not in the HMO network just to come here but the second time I came here was not as good of an experience. The doctor was not very friendly this time, maybe in a bad mood or something, and after I sat there for over 2 1/2 hours waiting for him to finish working on another patient even though I was the first person there, I came in on time, a couple minutes after they opened and had an appointment. I didn't get any kind of apology for waiting such a long time. They do have fair prices and the girl at the desk and assistants are all great but I don't think I'll be coming back. read more

My sister has been to many dentists since she had braces and she's has had her fair share of bad experiences .But she said that I should definitely go to valley alder dentist. let me tell you once we walk through the door the receptionist is very friendly and welcoming . We always make an appointment and get helped quickly. The staff is always kind and let's you know what there going to do and why. I've always been explained about the procedures and exactly what's going to happen. When it come to the price of the labor my insurance covers most of the expenses. Overall great customer service and great doctor . Also they speak Spanish which is great for my parents. read more

Dr. Patel is a horrible dentist! I trusted him and his staff but when he messed up on my root canals and crowns that all changes. He spent a year telling me he would fix what he messed up on and sent me to many of his friends in the industry for their opinion. In the end I lost 4 teeth and I crapy made partial. Never got anything fixed because he is a liar. He had me going to all these places to build a case for himself and to run statue of limitations out. PLEASE do not be fooled as I was! You can not trust this man! Find another dentist before something happens and you are stuck in the same situation as I am! read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! You have been warned. I went to Dr. Patel for toothpain, he told me I needed a rootcanal. I had told him that I was planning on having braces soon. He quoted me for the root canal and it was reasonable (i'll give him that). After he did the work I was satisfied and returned to him to have other work done. He was a bit rough, but I am tough so I was okay with it. Flash forward 2 months to pouring down rain and I had an appointment for my two year old daughter. When I arrived the facility was closed, no sign on the door just closed. I was a little upset they neglected to call the patients they had scheduled but I was STILL okay with Dr. Patel. Then my sister kept telling me to visit Dr. Kent Fyfe at Ivy Dentistry. When I went to Dr. Fyfe what a difference! He told me the root canals Dr. Patel did were not needed due to the fact that those teeth would need to get pulled when I get my braces (i have over crowding in my mouth). Dr. Fyfe also told me I only needed two more fillings to get my braces on where Dr. Patel had told me I needed 6!!! I have arrived at the conclusion that Dr. Patel is not a very ethical man. I believe he was charging me for work I didn't even need and to top it off I was paying for my dental work all out of pocket. Literally over $1000 gone to this crook for work I didn't even need. I should have gotten a second opinion but I was smitten with Dr. Patel's new equipment. Don't go here or if you do I HIGHLY recommend a second opinion. You get what you pay for! DON'T GO HERE AWEFUL. read more
