I've been coming to Fontana Dental Group for over 15 years. First of all, I love all the reception up front.These young ladies have always been so kind and welcoming. Some of the ladies I would like to name is Maria, Yvonne and the manager Laura. Had some dental work done late february by doctor Lund and her assistant Nellie. These ladies did an amazing job by keeping me calm and me very well.I didn't feel a thing. Going back on monday March 9th for an implant and I'm not even nervous. I hope George is there. He always makes me laugh and has a great sense of humor he's one other that makes me feel very comfortable and tells me you'll be just fine with a smile. Let's hear it for Fontana Dental Group! If I could give them 0 stars I would! My alt was at 3, they didn't take me in until 3:45 pm. I sat there until 4:18 waiting for someone to see me and nothing! Then the back office lady was talking about how hungover she was and how much she drank on Saturday and Sunday. I then let the front office know I needed to leave and she was so nonchalant about it. Everyone there doesn't care about patient care or their time they are just there. I later then called to make sure they don't charge my insurance because I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to schedule somewhere else and she was so rude I let her know my issue and she was just like "okay". Everyone was really nice , I called to make an appointment and they said they had something available for the next day ! And my wisdom teeth were coming in so that's really awesome cause I was in so much pain and afraid I wouldn't get seen until who knows when ! The girls at the front desk were so sweet and helpful and the orthodontist and the dental assistants in the back were even nicer! As I was saying about Fontana Dental Group my experience took a turn for the worse as I reached out to office staff about my experience with Ocean Dental Group was told from Fontana Dental Group that the manager was out of office we would relay information and sorry for your bad experience at ocean Dental Group, was told manager would reach out by end of week but the week came and went being a proactive Person, I reached out again to Fontana Dental Group and was told that office was closed Monday so I would not be able to communicate with manager , manager would be back on Friday but again Friday came and went without the manager from Fontana Dental Group reaching out to me about my experience with Ocean Dental Group mind you Fontana Dental Group had referred me , so I reached out again to Fontana Dental Group today July 29,2024 at 1:03 pm phone call lasted 3 mins and asked to communicate with the manager as I hadn't received a phone call back regarding the situation at Ocean Dental Group, so was placed on hold and after about 2 mins the manager came on the phone and the first thing she tells me is how can I help you , so I informed the manager if she was updated on my experience with there referral at Ocean Dental Group and the manager was like " how can I help you " again I told the manager no how are you going to help me moving forward with my treatment plan, then the manager said we are cutting ties with you and no longer treating you here we sent a letter to you , I then told the manager " why" and the manager said it's in the letter and I said " why can't you tell me why your office is no longer treating me" " I did nothing wrong " and the manager told me it's in the letter and " I told the manager your office is ok with another dentist office calling the cops on a referred patient all because they requested a copy of there treatment plan " The manager responded with there's a lot of other dentists to seek treatment with and pretty much hung up on me. So please be aware that this office is ok with there patients getting harassed and threatened with Ocean Dental Group staff and the female dentist on site they work in conjunction with each other as both offices cover Medi-Cal patients that have smile California with Medi-Cal dental and all Medi-Cal dental plans in California too, the manager is very rude unprofessional and clearly hates to be bothered and is in the wrong job field as she's also unsympathetic to the patients she supposedly cares for, so please seek treatment elsewhere if possible and I hope both reviews help in determining your decision. read more

Never going back here. I call for an urgent appt for pain(my insurance assigned me to them automatically) Then they get me in same day. Ok cool. I go in wait and I'm there for a while. Like ok fine. Then... After all that wait and x-rays the dentist referred me out to an "endocrinologist". I think the dentist meant endodontist. To look at my gums, roots for possible root canal. Like ok that's fine. Buuut!!! Then the receptionist chick urges me to go soon, call and make an appt because "really soon we won't be taking your insurance". I asked how soon will that be, she didn't have an answer for me. Why couldn't they tell me that when I first called! So I don't waste all that effin time there!! I am not about to follow through with that referral to come back and have work done then end up with a big ass bill my insurance won't pay because they "won't be taking this insurance soon" ! What!!??? Heck no! And the two places I had the options if choosing both have bad reviews! .I found a new dentist, reassigned my insurance the next day. Screw this place. read more

I went there some time ago to get a light enamel filling due to sensitivity. But instead they drilled in a few cavities! Next thing you know, a few molars are sensitive immediately after the visit. I never had cavities since I was a child until I walked out of that "dental" office after a cleaning. Needless to say, I searched for another dentist and had to pay to get work done that I didn't even need in the first place, plus the enamel issue I originally had. You've been warned. read more

This IS the best dental clinic you could go to. It is in Fontana, everyone knows where that's at, easy transportation to get there. About 6-10 minutes. Walk in and greeted with friendly staff! Maria, is very good at being productive, great to clients. Handles phone calls great and will give each client wonderful service! Now about dental work, I had these 2 wonderful doctors handle taking out my teeth! They did such a good job and felt nothing. Injections didnt hurt what so ever, and I'm sensitive to stuff like that! After that they give you information and a toothbrush to take home! Definitely recommend for dental appointments! read more

This business claims to be open M-F 8-5 PM only to have their doors locked & calls forwarded by 4:30PM. (or earlier) The office hrs listed on the door & online say M-F 8-5PM. Ive been calling 5 days straight from 4-4:30 PM & get forwarded to their call center. The call center blatantly admitted to the office closing early. May 24, 2018 I called at 4:30 PM and was told their office was closed, May 25, 2018 I called at 4:20 and was told they left early for the day By the call center. I went online & requested an appointment 3 days prior to the date. (Bc that option is available online supposedly) I have NOT gotten a call, email, or any confirmation of my online appointment request. It is now the day before my appointment request & I have heard nothing. I asked the phone operator today & said "so the office is open M-F 8am-5pm, it's 4:30PM and they left early for the day? " the phone operator responded "yes." I showed up to the office itself at 4:30PM to see if they were actually closed, & the office was locked for the day. This business is horrendous. My family had been coming here for years now and I must say I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. The front staff is great always very knowledgeable about any procedure, medication, or even helpful tip that you can use during and after your child has undergone the procedure. The back staff is always so nice and comforting especially with my lil ones there never scared and best of all they offer different opinions wean it comes to Anastasia. Back staff also always keeps you informed of what there doing or what's gonna happen. Now the doctors I have to say they are very caring never rushing through the appointment like other places I have been to at Fontana dental group the doctors actually care and do there best to keep my lil baby's calm and they play along with them gaining there trust my kids actually like the dentist Office is clean They offer extended hours in a working Mom and to me that's important I don't get out of work till 5 and I they have appointments that late .... read more

I had the worst customer service here. I currently have an extreamly bad infection in one of my broken tooth. I was told to take antibiotics for a week and come back to get the tooth pulled. I asked for pain pills to help me get through the week till i come back to get the tooth pulled. Mind you i was due to return for the work in 7 days. They prescibed me pain pills for 3 days only. By time i returned the infection didnt get any better and i was in even more pain then before. I was taken to the back to have the dentist stick me in my lip with the numbing needle. When i jumped back and told her she was sticking me in my lip she denied it, got an attitude and began to argue with me. Then got an attitude and walked out. Her coworker then tried to explain to me that i basically was making stuff up. I told them that its very understandable things happen. All that should have happen was an apology for hurting me. PERIOD. Since it didnt happen i was very upset, i became more upset at the fact they tried to tell me I was basically making it up. I told them i know she stuck me with the F*****G needle and so I was asked to leave. They did not pull the tooth. So i left in more pain then i came in ......RUN !!! WHILE YOU CAN .. They do not care for their customers. I still dont understand how im wrong for being upset for them hurting me and denying the whole thing like im insane. THIS PLACE IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! DR YANG IS HORRIBLE!!!! I went to them with a horrible toothache. Waited 1 hr before they called me back just to do xrays then go back out to the waiting room for another 30 min till a room was avilable then to take me in the room finally to tap and irritate the tooth that was already hurting send me out to wait in the waiting room again for another 30 min. Finally they perscribed medication that i was allergic to after writing it in my paperwork and got asked 2x what i couldnt take. And the conclusion to Dr Yang was she couldnt give me pain meds and send me to the ER to get the meds from them. After spending 3 hrs with them i still had to wait another 2hrs in the ER... Never will i go to them again. And incourage anyone who is looking for a Dentist to STAY AWAY!!!! read more

There should be MINUS stars for this outfit! They are every cliche there is about BAD DENTISTS and WELFARE and MEDICARE FRAUD I went to them, because they are the only dentists available on my Kaiser Permanente Medicare Delta Dental plan. I'm leaving Kaiser in February, because their level of concern for patients is so low, and their prices are so high. I knew there was a problem when the second sheet I had to fill out on Fontanta Dental Group's numerous forms began by requiring me to understand and agree to a statement that, "Dentistry is not an exact science...." Really? I suppose you could say the same thing about coronary bypass surgery, but I wouldn't want it under those conditions. The form then went on to state that since every dentist is "different," I could not hold Fontana Dental Group responsible for anything they did during treatment. It didn't take the Ph.D. I have to decide not to sign any such thing. But either they were too careless to notice it wasn't signed, or they knew, as I do, that it was absolute BS. They took me to the X-ray room, where they took a full set of pictures. I was then ushered into a "treatment" room, where I noticed that there was no bowl or water supply for rinsing my mouth. The tech came in and placed the X-rays on a light box. I can read X-rays, so I looked at them, and realized that they didn't show anything! They were taken to the dentist, and returned in two minutes. Then the doctor came in. She barely glanced at the pictures, which makes sense, since they contained no information. She asked me three questions (why was I there, what was my name, and who sent me? Probably have some lawsuits going over mismatched people and treatment), picked up a pick, and ran it down the upper and lower gums and teeth on the side nearest her, the right. She only bothered with the outside and never even looked on the inside. She never touched or looked at the left side at all, but after about a minute of poking at places that felt perfectly fine to me, she said that I needed two crowns and three fillings, and had no problems on the left side. She said that I should go wait in reception to talk to their "financial coordinator." (I checked around, and to date there are no schools offering a credential for Dental Financial Coordinators. There's a disreputable used car lot just up the street, so I guess there are some salesmen moonlighting at Fontana Dental Group.) I asked the dentist about the normal cleaning that is standard procedure in the "Cleaning, exam, X-ray" first visit. She said that would have to be a "deep cleaning," with anaesthetic with their "specialist." She had not measured the depth of the pockets, which is the usual precursor to requiring a deep cleaning, probably because she suspected it would show I didn't need one. I said, "How about just giving me the regular cleaning you owe me, because that deep cleaning is not happening." She left the room, and the tech escorted me to the waiting room, where I was asked for a $10.00 co-pay. I'm not supposed to have a co-pay for the X-ray, exam and cleaning, but I plan to go after these jerks for fraud, so I want a clean slate. "Just have a seat please, and the financial coordinator will be right with you." "No thank you," I said to the receptionist. "I wouldn't think of doing business, or inexact science with you people." "Then will you please leave now." It was clear I was not the first person to react in this way. "Right after I have a word with the patients waiting to be bilked." I turned to the others in the room and said, "Get out of here while you can. They just want your money, or the State's or Social Security's money, and you are going to go through a lot of debt and pain for nothing if you stay here." "Please leave," the receptionist said. "Okay, but just one more thing: you should be ashamed of yourself." I left. read more

I cannot tell to you enough times NOT to come here!!!! They try to get you to have unnecessary dental work. They're so money hungry and don't care about your teeth. They do VERY poor work, one of my fillings fell out a few months and had to be replaced by them and I had to have it redone somewhere else a few months after the second one they did, now I'm worried about the others they did. They gave me a crown in poor lighting that I couldn't tell was way too light until it was in permanently. They listened to me when they were trying to get me to buy crowns but when I told them I'd rather have braces first the dentist literally made a face and walked out and never came back to finish talking to me because they don't do braces here. Very unprofessional, scummy, and dishonest. Don't come here!!! UPDATE: another one of my fillings from here had to be redone. The filling I had redone somewhere else is still PERFECT a year and a half later. I'm now seriously questioning if the root canal they did was even necessary. ANOTHER UPDATE: I'm incredibly blown away by the extremely poor and unethical work done here. I am going to find if I can take further action to report these people somewhere. The crown from my root canal fell off today after about 2 years the dentist who re-cemented it said they shaved the tooth down WAY too much and that they did not leave a ridge to hold the crown he also said the crown is not the right shape and is too straight and there is not enough room in between the neighboring teeth. and surprise another one of the fillings they did broke and had to be redone. Bottom line: I do not recommend this place. Seriously, go somewhere else. I have been coming here for a year and I'm going to transfer before having any more work done. They withhold information, the work is okay (I've had better, much better), they only care about getting your money. During my deep cleaning they just let the water spray me in the face. It was so uncomfortable. I need to get a crown, not getting it here. They did do my root canal though. For the crown they're trying to talk me into getting the lava crown (it's like $1500 with my insurance.) I did a Google search and I'm SO GLAD I decide to wait. Since the crown is in the back of my mouth the lava crown is the worst because it won't last as long, it's more damaging to surrounding teeth, etc. I called them back and again trying to talk me into that crown. When I got my deep cleaning they didn't numb the bottom. It hurt like hell. I spree up more than once to no avail. When they did the other dude I created enough of a fuss that they stopped and numbed me more. Trying to save some money. Shameful! All this doesn't even scratch the surface of my disappointment. At least the cleaning was free. But I have spent hundreds here, but I will not spend anymore. Not here. Oh and when I got my wisdom teeth pulled they didn't give me any care instructions. I have tried many different doctors in the area, but none compare to Dr Lubczuk. He and his staff made me feel extremely comfortable, which is hard to do at any dentist office. I started bringing my kids and they love it.....very kid friendly. Prices were better than other offices in the area....I checked. I had a root canal done and after a few months I noticed there is pain. They left excess cement in my gums the crown was pushed too high up. I just decided to go elsewhere and it ends uo being the root canal was not done properly and it had to be done over. Also the manager was a bit too rude and doesn't know how to handle certain situations. When i asked to speak to someone else she said there was no one else but her. My family and I used go to a different place and now we are so glad we changed to Fontana Dental Group. My kids feel so happy to go to the dentist now. That make me feel very comfortable that now my children are not afraid of the dentist. They understand that patients are already afraid to be there and they really try their best to make us feel good about being there.
