I have been a customer of Bradway Plumbing for 5 years. They installed a hot water heater for us,…read moreand have completed multiple plumbing jobs such as toilet installations, sink faucets, UV light systems, and more. This morning I called requesting help with our aging mini-split a/c system and was told they would no longer provide service to us as a result of an incident that occurred last Fall when driving past the owner's house. The workers they hired were installing electrical conduit and a box truck in front of us stopped before starting again. My wife and I, with our two dogs in the car, began to proceed. I assumed it was safe to proceed. The truck suddenly stopped and the reverse lights came on, so I blew my horn, knowing they could not see us behind them. Suddenly, the two workers startied screaming at me, cursing and calling me names and verbally abusing me for proceeding. My wife and I were very shaken up by this and called the local police to report this violent behavior. I am extremely upset as well as disappointed that this company would turn their back on me as a customer. The only reason I am giving them two stars is that we have always been satisfied with their work. Knowing that this is how they operate, I would never even want to use them again. They actually should get 0 stars for treating a customer in such a way. EDIT: to be clear, I never said the workers who verbally abused us were employees of Bradway Plumbing. But it is Bradway Plumbing who we just discovered will no longer do work for us. There is no misplaced blame, other than Robert now trying to blame me. I guess he thinks we should just accept being verbally assaulted and cursed at by the people he hired to work on his house? Maybe he should have spoken to the people he hired about the incident. Anyway, I am now fully aware of the type of business owner Robert Bradway is and will happily move on.

It turns out a lot of pipes froze that night, because no one had any techs available. The best I could get from mist was a promise to have someone call me in the morning. Josh from Holmes, though, called me back immediately. He helped me stop the water that was flowing out of the burst valve, made sure I had some emergency heat, then scheduled me for first thing in the morning after he finished with his next client. He fixed the problem and even made some improvements to make my system a bit more resilient going forward. He was there all day, so I was expecting an astronomical bill since I had called in an emergency basis. I was pleasantly surprised to see the price was very reasonable. I had actually made that exact repair myself 5 years earlier (Josh said it was a quality issue with the valve and not my handiwork that lead to this failure, and I choose to believe him), so I know the going rate for the valves he used, and I know what the labor was like to install it. They charged a fair markup for the parts and a competitive hourly rate for the labor. And of course, Josh did the work a heck of a lot faster than I did back in 2021. I'm very pleased with the service and the quality of work. I'll definitely be calling Holmes the next time I need any HVAC work done.

I asked about their refund policy and was told there would be a $45 cancellation fee, even if I canceled the following day. I've never heard of any similar kind of a policy. Chris was very responsive, answered the phone, didn't have to speak to a machine and hope for a…read morecall back. He was also able to make time for us later in the day. Had to pull a well pump, he located the problem, it was a wire that was worn. He was able to fix that wire, notice other problem in the prior installation, address them as wells. The entire job was done that night, working until 8:30 PM. He was very easy to speak with, was able to clearly explain and show me the problems and worked hard until the job was done right. The price was high but better then I would have been charged by others. He was honest. I would recommend Chris and Twin Country Plumbing and Heating to anyone with a plumbing problem. Thanks Chris

So he reinstalled it properly and waited awhile to see if it flushed on its own. He then called in to home base and was told to charge me $245. I could tell he was embarrassed. So he knocked off $5. This is not a company I would call again.

Kitchen Sink became completely clogged early Saturday Morning (11/29/2025) Tried the usual cures…read morebut to no avail. Called Byron Parker Sunday Evening and left a message telling my problem and requesting assistance. Monday morning (12/1/2025) I received a call from Rebecca who told me a man was available that morning. The man was at my door in under 20 minutes. Unfortunately, I didn't catch his name but he immediately went to work on the drain system. Opening the clean out plug and using a snake he had the drain operating properly in no time. He performed some checks on the remainder of the system and noticed that the sink basket was very loose. He took it apart and using new putty reassembled it so that it no longer leaked. I was very impressed with the service provided by Byron Parker and its employees. Having worked in the plumbing department for many years in one of the Big Box stores, I recognized the skill of the man and the thoroughness of his actions.
