Called Byron Parker Sunday Evening and left a message telling my problem and requesting assistance. Monday morning (12/1/2025) I received a call from Rebecca who told me a man was available that morning. The man was at my door in under 20 minutes. Unfortunately, I didn't catch his name but he immediately went to work on the drain system. Opening the clean out plug and using a snake he had the drain operating properly in no time. He performed some checks on the remainder of the system and noticed that the sink basket was very loose. He took it apart and using new putty reassembled it so that it no longer leaked. I was very impressed with the service provided by Byron Parker and its employees. Having worked in the plumbing department for many years in one of the Big Box stores, I recognized the skill of the man and the thoroughness of his actions. I have been a customer of Bradway Plumbing for 5 years. This morning I called requesting help with our aging mini-split a/c system and was told they would no longer provide service to us as a result of an incident that occurred last Fall when driving past the owner's house. The workers they hired were installing electrical conduit and a box truck in front of us stopped before starting again. My wife and I, with our two dogs in the car, began to proceed. I assumed it was safe to proceed. The truck suddenly stopped and the reverse lights came on, so I blew my horn, knowing they could not see us behind them. Suddenly, the two workers startied screaming at me, cursing and calling me names and verbally abusing me for proceeding. My wife and I were very shaken up by this and called the local police to report this violent behavior. I am extremely upset as well as disappointed that this company would turn their back on me as a customer. The only reason I am giving them two stars is that we have always been satisfied with their work. Knowing that this is how they operate, I would never even want to use them again. They actually should get 0 stars for treating a customer in such a way. EDIT: to be clear, I never said the workers who verbally abused us were employees of Bradway Plumbing. But it is Bradway Plumbing who we just discovered will no longer do work for us. There is no misplaced blame, other than Robert now trying to blame me. I guess he thinks we should just accept being verbally assaulted and cursed at by the people he hired to work on his house? Maybe he should have spoken to the people he hired about the incident. Anyway, I am now fully aware of the type of business owner Robert Bradway is and will happily move on.

He knows his business, gave good advice, and did great work. Tim came out to check out some electrical problems we were experiencing and didn't try to sell us service/work that we didn't need. He replaced some broken outlets and fixed some sloppy wiring work that another company did, as well as installing conduits and an outlet for outdoor wiring. The situation WAS urgent given that evening temperatures were in the 40s and the house needed heat. Tuesday morning we had another HVAC technician come over who diagnosed the issue within half an hour! and contacted the manufacturer soon after to remedy the situation. Not trying to "hurt" a small business, but as this interaction represents what you do, it's unacceptable. Try to imagine a customer's dissatisfaction when they're ticked off enough not to answer your call. BTW the Yelp name is my son's who regularly uses social media whereas I don't.

Next morning I called back when the office was open and someone was round within an hour and sorted everything. It then turned out there was a small issue that needed sorting out that he'd missed and I called and within a couple of hours someone else showed up to fix it. Having dealt with a number of the team they've shown themselves to be honest, responsive, friendly and really committed to looking after customers.
