I just finished my allergy test and then had a follow up visit with Dr. Hurley for my ENT issues. And,..............*drum roll*.................it's been confirmed! His professionalism and patient care is not a hoax! My first office visit was not a fluke! .......*trumpets blare* :) !!!! He gave me options on deciding what the next course of action should be for my health issues and even helped me take pictures of my allergy test reactions on my arms. Haha Cool! Based on my experience, the 2.5 star rating is far too generous. During my visit, my symptoms were not properly addressed, and I did not feel my concerns were thoroughly evaluated. After seeking a second opinion, serious issues that had been overlooked were identified. The physician providing the second opinion mentioned that he frequently sees patients from this practice with similar complaints. The administrative staff was equally disappointing and unprofessional. It's clear that their goal is to churn and burn patients, schedule repeat visits, and prioritize revenue over patient care. In Dec 2025 I saw a dif't ENT who told me that the RhinaAer would never be covered by my insurance so I found Valley ENT in my insurer's portal and called to find out if they perform Clarifix instead. They do. Booked the appt. Found out 2 days before my Valley ENT appt that my insurance approved it after all, but I was already scheduled to see Dr. Kelsch @ Valley ENT so I kept the appt. I explained that I already had a scope and sinus ENT 2 weeks prior but they said they needed their own. Fine. But then when we were ready to discuss the 2 options, Dr. Kelsch left the room and returned with 1 pamphlet for each (not super helpful when you want to know deeper, and pros and cons). He stood in the doorway, one foot and his body halfway out, and apparently my appt was over with no oppty for education or Q&A. WTH? Fine, so I asked the out-nurse about the procedures. She looked at me funny. I told her I didn't get education or Q&A from Dr. Kelsch and she said that was very strange. Ok, sounds he normally does, but did not for me. A few days later I left a VM asking for websites Dr. Kelsch recommended for self-education, and an oppty for a phone call Q&A with him. No reply. Fine, maybe VM not working. CALLED AGAIN, talked to a medical assistant, explained what I needed. Three weeks later, STILL NO REPLY. Fine, I'm already approved at the other ENT so I'M GOING BACK THERE. I think I've given AZ Valley ENT the benefit of the doubt enough times. I initially chose to call them since the reviews were good on my insurer's portal but seeing the reviews here, I realize that I should have also checked Google reviews. Dr Jaczor did not finish the procedure and sent my 88 year old dad out of the office and said she was done while I walked down to my car to get my notebook. She did not talk with me. The assistants said it was complete and I called again to make sure. My dad still cannot hear well as the wax that was to be removed is still there. I am a 76 year old patient of Dr. Weiner. I broke my nose in June and had to have surgery to fix the deviated spectrum. Dr Weiner was terrific. He explained the surgery, the pros and cons, and what I could expect post-op in the short and long term in a detailed and striaght-forward manner. I had a few concerns that he completely relieved. The surgery and post-op went exactly as he foresaw. His attention, thoroughness, and competency lead me to recommend his practice to anyone with a problem similar to mine. read more

I'm extremely disappointed with Dr Pryor to say the least. He Performed a surgery on my son's nose when he was only 16 and left a huge permanent scar. He promised to make it right but never did. It was divine intervention because I found a medical treatment facility that is top notch. Who do these people think they are, treating patients (customers) this way? When I started to fill out my info, they said the doctor had cancelled my appointment. They said they could reschedule the next day and I said no way. Went here for a nose job a few years back by Dr. Sheperd Pryor. Always figured my breathing issues would work out once my nose had a long time to heal. Breathing through my nose has never been the same since. Other specialists have related it back to this doctor failing to do a turbanite reduction when my nose was done. Apparently this is very standard when big changes are made. Nose looks good, but if i could go back and undo in order to breath better, i would. It really sucks having such a finicky nose. When it was time for my sister getting her nose done, i obviously did not recommend this doctor and we found someone else. Of course with her nose a turbanite reduction was done at the same time as her nose job.. I think the worse part about the experience was i just didnt feel like this office cared when i was having immediate problems, even after going to check ups. I stopped going back for help when they kept trying to upsell a turbanite reduction as a seperate procedure instead of admitting a mistake was made. I paid for a nose job, consulting with other practices when my family was shopping around for my sister has concluded that turbanite reductions are industry standard to do at the same time as what would be included in with a nose job. This Dr. not doing it for me was eithsr obviously an oversight or an attempt to upsell later. Its beem years now and i still struggle breathing, i sorta just learned to live with it at this point but i definitely wanted to share my story on here to help others take precautions. read more

This is my third review in two months. I have been a patient of Valley Ent since the 80's. I have chronic post nasal drip and seasonal allergies. The office will not refill my sublingual drops even though I have been to their office numerous times for that reason. I am a retired teacher and have a paralegal degree in litigation and real estate law. If none of your doctors will talk to me I will be forced into taking you to small claims court and may seek legal advice for mental aggravation. I have no idea why these people do not have 5 stars. Dr Pryor is an amazing doctor who is caring, direct, and a perfectionist. His assistant Susie is the sweetest person ever. I am not only able to breathe better but my nose looks absolutely perfect. I couldn't be happier and it's only a week since my surgery! I don't like to mention prices but he was also the cheapest doctor I met with when I was choosing who to do my surgery. Truly a package deal. I called today and they told me the doctor we were scheduled with doesn't see children. first off why would you even schedule my child with someone that won't see him? second that is 100% your fault! As MANY people have pointed out, I too was charged for services without knowledge before they were done. I was a longtime patient of Dr. Burgio and I'm disappointed that I have to write this as it's embarrassing to publicly admit. I am STILL paying on a bill that was almost $1,500 after $4,301 of "surgical" services were performed without my consent prior to those services being rendered. As someone with chronic mastoiditis, I have to see an ENT doctor once every 5 months to get my left ear "cleaned". Because that ear doesn't naturally expel ear wax I have to see an ENT to take it out once every 4-6 months for the rest of my life. I don't make a lot of money and these visits usually totaled in the $400-$600 range so it's already tough for me to budget for. These visits, once the doctor did arrive in the room, lasted all of 10-15 minutes. So, you can imagine the shock of getting a bill for over 3x the amount for a visit that did not last any longer or was any different than my other visits and seeing the line items labeled as surgery. Was there any talk about this with me, the financially responsible party, that SURGERY was being performed? No. Was there any discussion after the surgery was over that what I just went through was SURGERY? No. Just a bill that I have been dutifully trying to pay for over a year and a half now. I just don't think it's right that this has happened and, again, I feel embarrassed for even being public about it. I don't know what recourse I have but promises to follow up with me by the billing department have not yielded a callback. I guess I don't matter as a patient or deserve a phone call. read more

I have seen Dr Hurley a few times over the past year to help with my allergies and sleep issues. He's been great. A professional who listens to your concerns and doesn't just jump into prescribing medication or recommending surgery. He explains what's going on and what he recommends for treatment. If you don't feel comfortable with it, he'll offer alternative treatment options. This is how all doctors should be. You also don't feel rushed, like you're a number. I had an absolutely HORRIBLE experience here. The upfront nurse was incredibly rude and refused to listen to me. I made a mistake when filling out the COVID-19 paperwork. When I tried to explain that it was just a misunderstanding, she just continued to ignore me and tell me I would have to reschedule. I explained I had a broken nose and the ER said I needed to be seen within 7-10 days (and I am already on day 6), she couldn't have cared less. I had an appt today, i go in and i dont wear a mask, and i medically can't, so they just told me they cant help me. Not only that, but they have signs at the counter saying by the governor's order and city masks are required, ummm, There has never been a state mask mandate, and only a temporary local one, which is now rescinded. I can't speak for other doctors at Valley ENT, but I know Dr. Jordan Weiner has a scheduling problem! My first appt., THEY called and asked me to come in an hour early. I did. After arriving early and waiting 15 minutes, I asked when they would be getting me in. They told me to come back an hour later, at my original scheduled time. I did. When I came back I got in 45 minutes late. A week later I had an appt. for a follow up. With a tight schedule, I called to see if he was running on time and they said he was an hour behind. I rescheduled for a morning appt., hoping it'd be better. I went early to my morning appt. only to be seen 30 minutes late. When Dr. Weiner came in I calmly expressed my frustration with every appt. being late and suggested there was a scheduling problem. He turned into a jerk! After giving me a speech about how he doesn't cut patients off when they're speaking to keep his appointments on time, he said he'd rather be late and help patients. I told him I appreciated his attempt to give good service but that running late was a sign there was a scheduling issue. He talked over me and then rudely proceeded to conduct the appt., apparently offended that I complained, thinking his time was more valuable than mine. To blame patients for habitually running late or not being able to manage their time is absolutely absurd! To get frustrated with someone bringing it to your attention is a sign of personal issues unrelated to your on time patients. His issues, personal or professional, are not my problem. Unfortunately for all of us who'd like to have a completely flexible schedule determined at will; the real world doesn't operate that way! Apparently, based on Dr. Weiner's reaction to my criticism, he doesn't believe he operates in the real world. Anyone who shows such little regard for my time and is rude on top of it, isn't someone I will engage with. Dr. Weiner seems to be a good enough doctor but he's a very inconsiderate person. I acknowledge, that in medicine, emergencies arise causing scheduling issues. I can appreciate that but, to my knowledge, this was not the reason. Worst appointment ever and I actually like my doctor a lot. Dr Hurley is being poorly represented by his scheduling staff. My appointment was at 2pm but got to the office 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork to hopefully save time so I could get back to work. Audiologist calls me back at 150pm to do the audio test and then I sit there until 250pm, 50 minutes after my appointment. Audiologist comes out and says it will be 20 or so minutes more before I can see the doc. This would mean I would have waited almost an hour and 15 minutes of my own time. Unacceptable. Scheduling needs to plan the doctors day better. Best yet there is a sign over the receptionist desk that says all of the doctors are currently on time. The receptionist guy then tried to make me feel bad for them making me waste over an hour of my time. This was the last appointment I was going to have with the doctor since my last day of work with my current company is Friday. Terrible service builds a terrible brand which builds a terrible reputation. Again I love Dr Hurley but his staff needs serious oversight and a total scheduling process overhaul. read more

The Good: I have been to Dr. Weiner twice. I think he is a great doctor, very nice, very knowledgeable, answers all of your questions, and spends time with you. The Bad: *Both times I waited over an hour past my appointment time to finally be seen by Dr. Weiner. *They forgot to call in one of my prescriptions, so I called and left a message for the nurse. Never got a call back, but realized on my next trip to the pharamacy they had called it in(just never let me know) *After being told I needed Septoplasty, I called to schedule the surgery. Left a 2nd message..and it is a month later...I still have not heard back from anyone there. To say the least I am incredibly disappointed with my whole entire experience at this practice. To start, I scheduled my appointment back in July and the girl on the phone was extremely rude and arrogant. I was scheduling an appointment to get some tonsil stones cleared up NOT for education... The girl proceeded to make my appointment, first available was 6 weeks later. I walk in there (left work early for this), gave them my insurance card, and doc comes in the room and looks in my throat, and EDUCATES me on everything I already know about tonsil stones. He continued by recommending a Tonsillectomy if I don't want to be picking stones out the rest of my life. I asked if he was going to be removing some for me today because I can't reach... He rudely responded with, uh no we don't do that here. So, I waited 6 weeks and went out of my way for a CONSULT? Nobody clarified that with me, and I was livid leaving the office. In addition, before leaving, the MA said I need to sign a consent form for a tonsillectomy that I never said I would get. She says it "saves time" though, today was the biggest waste of time going there for an educational lesson... To say the least I will NOT be back. Whoever is scheduling either does not understand English, doesn't care, or doesn't know what she is doing and what procedures are done at the clinic. Been a patient of Dr Weiner for several years. Had deviated septum surgery and major polyps (a lot) removed. Suffered from sinus headaches most of life, went through a box of tissues daily (at times) and I could usually only breath through one nostril at a time. Sinus headaches were crazy bad (tried everything to get the swelling down). Hell of a way to live. Dr Weiner does take time with you. He isn't running the maximize the insurance billing game (5-10 mins with a patient). That's a good thing! - yep you wait for him (can be long at times) but you know when it's your turn he will answer all questions and give you his quality time and care. I think it is a very good trade off. Wait in the lobby a bit but get great care or a timely clocked run visit to get your 5-10 minutes after vitals. I prefer a doctor that still cares about his patients. Dr W fixed me up - painless half day thing - recovery took about a week. No pain but messy for first few days. Breathing through both nostrils now. Ability to smell returned (mostly). Helped the lungs too. I thought this was telling of the type of Doc he is. I was visibly nervous on my surgery day. Had my concerned panic look on - Dr W walks in - cracks a joke first thing, relaxed me immediately. It was perfect. Nasal plumbing still fixed (years after but I do the recommend rinse religiously). Looks like lots of poor reviews about office wait times. If you are really to have some office visit patience, my experience has been it is worth it. read more

Dr. Pryor knows how to treat his patients but the front desk people need to be a little bit more caring. I have four star for the doctor and his nurse but the front desk is a a BIG fail... They're too gruff or rough. Dr. Pryor is pretty cool too and he makes you feel at ease and his nurse always goes out of her way to be helpful. Stay away!!! Worst experience ever at a Dr's office. Saw ENT Dr. for maybe 3 minutes max and his beside manor was very poor. The billing process was a total nightmare. Received a bill way over what quoted me and when I called to dispute it they told me a manager would be calling me back. I never received any call or follow regarding my concerns and next thing I got was a collections letter in the mail. The billing department then misinformed me on information and timing necessary to resolve the issue so ended up on my credit. They dropped the ball and my credit got dinged and they could care less. I would give zero stars if it allowed me to. Made an appointment for my child to have a consult in regards to her allergies. I was told I cannot attend due to COVID 19. Dr. Shah issued tests without checking the benefits with the insurance company. I now owe $600 for tests that were not authorized by me or my insurance. Very unethical. read more

Do not trust them! They quoted me approx $1300 for a procedure which I paid the day of scheduling. I asked 3 times if that was the total I would be responsible for 3 times and Mary said it was all I would be charged 3 times. 2 days later I get a call saying I owe an additional $2150 due before the procedure date. I immediately called Mary back and she said she quoted me "the initial costs", what b.s! I immediately cancel everything and Mary agreed to reverse the $1300 charge to my credit card. She did not do this, I had to call my bank to reverse it. I asked for the office manager to call me, she did not return my messages. Do NOT trust these crooks, they will low ball the cost to get you to agree and then send a bill later.
