I started going here after I moved to Moses Lake in 2024. The first year, it was fine. I got an eye exam and it was time for new glasses. They were expensive, didnt have much to offer in colors, in the $130.00 range, lots of black frames . Prices for solid color frames were were close to $200.00. Still I needed them, it had been seven years since I had new frames. They took my insurance, good. In 2025, I used my old fashion designer purple frames and replaced the prescription glass. I got out of there for $ 180.00. Sweet! This year, even with insurance, I laid out nearly $500.00 for everything, my insurance paid for the eye examination. The fun frames were $240.00, very artist looking since I am one. And the doctor sold me a pair of heated eyepad for increasing fluid in my eyes; it does help and tried to talk me into getting surgery done on a dropping eye lid. I have sensitivities to food allergies, and that eye lid is not bothering enough for surgery. I repeatedly said, " No." He wrote a prescription out for an infection on my eyelids. I thought ok, enough! He is attended to me and really listened to any concerns I had. He handed me off to a young man, to take measurements for new glasses and fill out paperwork. He was OK, nothing outstanding to mention. When I went to pick up my order after a 1.5 weeks, this same young man, did not provide great customer service. The computer glasses set crooked on my nose, he looked at me and said, " oh, they look fine." I said, " No, the glasses are not fine, it effects my vision." He did take the glasses in the back, adjusted too much. Now glasses were still not quite there, he said, " if I do it anymore, I'll have to bend the frames." I looked at him and thought, hey there're not my first pair of glasses. I've worn glasses since I was 10 years old and now I'm 70. I looked at his face, my patience thinned from his last words. And I said, " well I'll be back if I find glasses still need adjustment." I stand up, and get my purse, he says, " we can adjust to your satisfaction." I said, " hmmm. " So the customer service could be much better here, friendliness depends on what day it is. Don' t come the day after a holiday for anything. My mistake. I might find another vision place next year. Like the other reviews, I did not have a good experience here. After paying $90 out of pocket for a contact fitting and simply wanting my prescription emailed to me, they refused to do so. I was told I needed to come in and do the entire trial pair process again after stating that I was going to order elsewhere. The receptionist was rude and was rude during my appointment booking process and I finally gave up and decided to take my business elsewhere. I have never been treated or talked to that way by a professional business and neither should you. 10/10 would NOT recommend to a friend or anyone for that matter. Can I go lower than 1 star? I went to Valley Eye Care and Vision for an appointment om May 17, 2024. The exam will no doubt result in new glasses or lenses. I brought a pair in to have a nose cushion replaced while exam with Dr. I was told that it be $40 " adjustment fee". I have never been charged as a customer new or otherwise. Deal breaker. I left and made an appointment with another provider. The receptionist said " Yeah we get a lot of business from that provider. I didn't provide the name of said provider. They made an appointment for me and said to bring glasses by and they would gladly replace the nose cushion free of charge. read more

Alert! Everything that all the other reviews is true! This place is really bad in all ways. I took to this app for review for the fact that the front desk staff is a bunch of non caring, perfume wearing, "I wanna sleep my way to the type" kinda folks. If you're going here for actual care please don't! I met (the owner, Dr Harrison at a public event) he was very nice and told me of his business. The other doctor in town the yr before was so old he gave a bad script. I think he too was needing glasses. So in short I wanted to get a new doctor. Everything from there is a bad review. Dr Herrera did a good job but if you know eye care then you know he can't do fittings and such services. So enters the jerks at the front desk. They pushed hard for me to order frames. We all know Costco price frames are budget way more than valley eye care markups. As soon as I said I wasn't going to buy frames from Valley I was treated horribly. (Sorry if I won't pay for your date ladies of the front office) I came to get eye care not pay to sit with you and "buy you dinner" ! Anyways I went to leave and saw a disclaimer that they don't warranty the prescription if I don't get frames there. I think her name was Vanessa but she was very rude in explaining policy and took one more chance to leave a bad impression. As I tried to fill the lenses with my insurance at Costco I was informed that Valley had already used the benefit. So I wasted about an hour chasing down my money that had been tied up in insurance cost and claims and now here we are! Don't go here. This business is not any good and just looking to take your claims money. Who cares about health really when you can have 9 or so girls working upfront that can just flirt and if you don't fall for that type of junk well as they will tell ya, "there's the door". I've been a patient of De. Creviston for years. When I scheduled my annual exam I wasn't told that I would no longer be seeing him. I was scheduled with a different provider. The staff and the doctor all seemed very rushed and my exam definitely didn't seem very thorough. I thought it was a fluke but had the same issue when I took my son for an appointment. He's only 11 and has ADHD. Orders were barked at him so fast that he had trouble following them. The staff would barely make eye contact with me or my son and had a completely deadpan look on their face the entire time. This was our third visit since the change in ownership abs we feel that we've given them a very fair chance. But the customer service and level of care provided have dropped so significantly that we think it's probably time to find a new provider. read more

I do not recommend this office to anyone. This was my second year going here and I was trying to given them the benefit of the doubt that the first visit was just a bad experience and it would get better. First of all they charge you a $90 contact fee to be able to purchase contacts. I've never had to do this anywhere else. They say it's to be able to try different contacts and find the perfect ones, but I've used the same brand forever and never had any problems and had no desire to try other ones. They still made me pay the fee. Second, I have dual coverage, yet they won't bill my secondary carrier because it's their policy. Instead they made me pay the remaining "contact fee" out of pocket and told me I was welcome to bill my secondary carrier on my own for reimbursement. The last straw for me was that I asked if I could just get my prescription mailed to me so I could get my contacts through Costco since they won't bill both of my insurances anyway. Initially they said yes, then they called me back later and said they wouldn't mail my prescription until I paid my $30 contact balance. The bill isn't even outstanding and I have perfect credit. I asked them if it was because they were afraid I wouldn't pay the bill after I asked to take my prescription elsewhere and they just sat there with no answer. There is a reason this place only gets 1-2 stars. I will be taking my family somewhere else and I recommend you do the same. read more

This is one place I would not recommend to anyone. I liked the Dr but after discussing with him what we were going to do and agreed the person who orders it all didn't listen to me or read what the Dr wrote, I now have two of three pairs of glasses that are not correct. After spending just under $300 just for the lenses he didn't even try to correct problem without me giving them more money. Must be what they do when you don't buy new frames. They get money this way. For a new company in town that's not going to get you more customers!! read more
