They have a pretty good selection of Middle Eastern foods. They carry both cooked and regular grocery foods. The cooked foods smelled and looked wonderful but I did not purchase any. I was a little bummed that they didn't have ground lamb so I had to go somewhere else, but other than that, they had a pretty wide variety of meats and seafood. The cooked food prices looked very reasonable for the amount of food that came with the dishes. The employees were friendly and helped me locate the items I was looking for. Valley Foods catered my daughter and fiancé's wedding shower on Saturday, November 1st, and everything was absolutely perfect. The food was exceptionally delicious and delivered piping hot, even coming all the way from El Cajon to Oceanside. Chef Rasha and an assistant were on time, setting up the beautifully displayed food (including gorgeous fresh salads!) very quickly. The entire booking process was simple, and Chef Rasha is incredibly easy-going and accommodating. They even returned the next day for easy pickup of the equipment. Highly recommend Valley Foods--I will definitely be ordering from them again! Thank you Valley Food - Rasha. The guests loved everything!!! Placed a catering order here based off my brother in laws recommendation and they did not disappoint! The order in total was around $300 since it was like a 15-20 person event. I went to the counter and the lady was super helpful. She found my order and got it all together. The whole process took about 10-15 minutes. Wow.. super crowded market and bakery combined with a hot food counter.. I've tried a few of the sandwiches which a served on still warm bakery rolls with incredible aroma and flavor... great portion size and I think only $7 or $8... You can watch them baking the bread and cooking the various foods.. The Iraqi pizza are thin flat breads topped with various fillings only $1.99 which is an insane value.. Fantastic food. My coworkers picked up some holiday food for those of us who didn't have anything to do on Xmas and they brought me back a falafel plate and a Greek salad.
