Store needs to be more diligent about food quality and spoilage. Selling molded product.

This is pretty good market. They offer a good size meat department and a huge amount of produce as well. I picked up some chicken thighs for $1.89 lbs to make some pollo asado. The price reflects signing up with your phone number at the register. I also picked up several whole garlic at $5.99 per pound. The gents at the meat counter were friendly and helpful, and also advised me on up coming sales. The produce area was well stocked and maintained. I did not grab any, but they had fresh lemons at five for $1.00. The young man at the register was friendly. They offer a good size parking lot.

Clear instructions but when followed, I eas told "we never bring the orfer out to the car"

Update! Vine Ripe responded to my review, and is addressing the issue. That's why Vine Ripe is a 5 Star GEM!

Great deals here! The oranges I've had from here are always so sweet. Great deals on a number of produce like avocados, eggplant, cucumbers, and more. I came here this visit especially for their deals on pizza. BOGO on their 18" pizza at $17.99. That's like $9 for one huge AND delicious pizza. The crust is a nice chewy, flat bread texture with lots of toppings. The staff here is friendly and helpful. The store is also kept organized, well stocked, and clean. Definitely one of my go to markets here in SD!

They have a nice selection of rolls and bread. The rye bread was soft and fresh. They use Boar's head meat, so of course the meat was great. They carry bottles drinks as well as fountain drinks. There's a good selection to choose from. You can dine inside or out. I chose the inside. The deli was clean and organized. There are big windows that let in a lot of sunlight. Justine made my food. She was friendly. I enjoy good service! I'll be back!

They were running two back-to-school sandwich specials with one for $10.99 and another for $16.99. Personally, almost $17-$20 for a sandwich didn't really feel like much of a special. The service was definitely the highlight of my visit. The cashier was incredibly friendly, offered great recommendations, and the woman working behind the deli counter was just as welcoming. I ordered the: *Jerk Turkey Sandwich: you can choose from white, wheat, sourdough, a roll, or an onion roll for an additional $3. I went with white bread. I was expecting more of a deli-style hoagie or Subway-style sandwich, but it ended up being served on two slices of sandwich bread. It tasted good, but it honestly reminded me of something I could easily make at home. There just wasn't much of a wow factor. The sandwich came with pickle spears and your choice of macaroni salad, potato salad, or another deli side. The side portion was fairly small, a couple of bites worth, but the macaroni salad was great. My total came to nearly $15, which felt pretty expensive for a sandwich on sliced bread and a small side. While I really appreciated the friendly service and enjoyed the food, I didn't think it offered enough value for the price. Overall, it was a decent lunch, but not memorable enough to make me want to return.

At long last we beamed down, and the experience surpassed every expectation. From the moment we entered, the atmosphere felt like coming home to a welcoming starbase. The staff treated us with genuine warmth and patience as we navigated a menu full of storied classics. Their attentive service turned a simple meal into a memorable mission. My first officer aka wife enjoyed a superbly composed salad, and chose the Turkey Club -- both delivered with thoughtful care. I began with the biscuits and gravy, a traditional hit that tasted like comforting shore leave. But the true highlight was the patty melt: perfectly seared, with lush caramelized onions and melted cheese that achieved harmony at warp speed. It was, without hyperbole, the best patty melt I've encountered in this quadrant. Each bite was a cascade of flavor that felt like discovering a thriving new world. This kitchen knows how to respect ingredients and execute classics flawlessly. No extra condiments were necessary -- the craftsmanship spoke for itself.
