Purchased a Hot Springs spa in April. The Spa is performing well. I put in a maintenance request online for "cleaning & maintenance", a box I checked. Did not hear back for 5 business days and so I called. Representative on the phone said they don't clean spas. I said that the salesperson with another employee present said this service was available. (need I mention that the box I checked said "cleaning & maintenance") After I made this complaint, the owner got back to me within 30 minutes and once we clarified the situation had the service department call and schedule my service. My wife and I bought our new Hot Springs 6 person Sovereign spa one year ago from Valley Hot Springs in Murrieta. We cannot be happier with the original service and delivery to now having it for one year. The salt system is the best for easy maintenance. Everything has worked to perfection. Just did my first drain and refill after one year and went super smooth thanks to the help of Valley Hot Springs as we went in just to go over the procedure and they are just so helpful! Customer service at valley hot springs is horrible. It took 7.5 months to receive our spa, 3.5 months longer than promises. Not once in those 7.5 months did Valley Hot springs call to give us an update. Diane and Jeff are very rude. Once you sign the contract they are done with you. "We only sell hot tubs, not make them" is their favorite line. They had a different excuse each time we called about the delays. "It's on the assembly line, yours is up next to be made, we get a shipment next week, we'll give you the next hot tub that comes in, we got a po number from the manufacturer so yours should be made soon, should be here before Christmas, should be here around the 1st of the year, begining of February it should be ready, it will probably be done in March......." read more

This review is long overdue... Diane has been awesome from start to finish, we came here a few times before deciding to buy our hot tub, because we did quite a bit of research beforehand. I have to say that I'm glad we did that. We went with the Hot Springs brand because it's the top 5 brands for hot tubs. It's also very sleek! The model we went with is fully insulated, apparently not all of them are fully insulated. We got the upgrades of bluetooth and extra waterfalls for our hot tub and Diane threw in a subwoofer, stairs, and cover for free with our hot tub! Nice! Diane also recommended an electrician to help set us up and hook us up, he was difficult to get a hold of sometimes, but at the end, it was all worth it. Delivery went without a hitch and they were really gentle with going through our house with it because the door to our side yard was so narrow. Lorenzo was wonderful on explaining to us how the salt water system works and how to use our hot tub. Overall, I had a very satisfying experience here and I plan to come back! We love our hot tub! We use it frequently at night when the air is cooler, the lights changing and the fountains working. It's a nice way to unwind after a long day. read more

So, as you can read my 1st experience at Valley Hot Springs Spa's was great, the sales person was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of my questions, and based on the information provided I ended up purchasing a spa. Up until this point I had nothing but great things to say about the business and its employees. THINGS CHANGE After the installers (drop-offers..) left the spa we filled it and began our journey as hot-tub owners. The first issue came as soon as we fired up the spa and cycled the jets; some thing was not right. I had purchased an 6 person tub so it stands to reason that 6 people could lounge and enjoy the jets, not true. While I have no inclination of putting 6 people in the spa at the same time, I was under the impression I could and that each of them would benefit from the "soothing jets" at the same time. Evidently that is not the case, and since I chose the 110 versus the 220 model, only 1 side or the other will function at capacity at a time; effectively turning my 6 person spa into a 3 person spa with 3 additional seats. Well I read the manual and tried everything to no avail, so I went back in to see my friendly spa manager. After explaining my situation and that something must be wrong with my $4,000 spa, i was told two things: 1. NO REFUNDS (this was said 4 or 5 times throughout the conversation) , and 2. We would be happy to sell you a larger, more expensive spa that runs on 220 which will definitely meet your needs. In other words, tough crap, you were dumb enough to buy the thing and we are keeping your money. As you can imagine this did not sit well, but we seemed to be at an impasse. He (the manager) was NOT going to refund my money simply because I was led to believe that the spa would actually function at 100%; surely I was mistaken. This was a very bad experience which has gotten worse. Along with being told that the spa would seat and function for 6 at a time, I was also promised that my electrical bill would rise no more that $30 a month despite the fact that the spa is on twenty-four hours a day. Well, the 1st month my bill increased roughly $100 and that has only risen though-out the summer. Now, I have been forced to drain the 3/6 person tub since it's constant running has now put me into a new tier with the electrical company adding even more to my bill. I am sure that next winter I (with a maximum of 2 additional people) will be able to enjoy the fantastic benefits of my wonderful home spa. BOTTOM LINE 1. Do your research and heed the warnings on sites like Yelp! 2. Know what you want and stick to your budget 3. DONT BELIEVE SALES PEOPLE. It may not be that the sales person is trying to deceive you, they may simply be receiving bad information. Regardless, you, the customer, will pay. 4. Any business that does not have a refund policy should be avoided 5. Anything that you plug in and it runs 24/7 will cost you more that $30 a month! What started out as a great experience became a FOUR THOUSAND DOLLAR education on what NOT to do. BUYER BEWARE! As always this is my opinion base don my own personnel experience. We were in the store a week earlier about the possibility of getting a new cover for our existing spa, glad I waited!!!!! I am highly disappointed in the service I have received form this establishment. We were informed that someone would come and make sure the hot tub could be moved into our yard, we were also informed that we would only have to pay "a couple hundred dollars" by more than one staff to have a crane move it into our yard in case it didn't fit. After it didn't fit and after I proactively called more than once to confirm we had a gas line that could be a potential issue, it didn't fit. I called the office and Alex told me that I would have to try calling the salesman that sold it to us. I explained that the movers were standing there and I would appreciate if she could assist. After telling me a couple times that it is the salesman's responsibility I asked to speak to a manager. Of course, there was no manager and she again directed me to the salesman who was "off work and probably won't answer because it's his day off". When explained that the contracted movers were standing in front of me waiting she abruptly said " what do you want me to do about it?" I explained that I expected her to do her job and connect me to a manager. I didn't hear from the non- existent mange for several hours. Once she called she basically said the crane would be at least $500 or I could just be refunded. I told her I would rather have my money back than incur additional expenses and Be treated with a curt response, dismissed, and quite frankly treated poorly, considering we spent upward of $8000.00 on this hot tub. After a few days I again reached out and was told the owner had finally issued a check after almost another week and that they would make sure my check was not cashed, I asked when they could pick up, giving several options on which I was told they would get back to me. I I had to reach out a few times more to the manager Dianne on which she said we could pick up the check anytime as they couldn't pick up the hot tub from our garage for over a week due to a maternity leave of one of the staff. My husband and went to pick up the check and Alex told him Dianne was off, the check was in a safe, and he couldn't have it until we returned the hot tub..... despite what Dianne said and was unwilling to contact her due to her being off work. I called the next day to speak to Dianne and was once again informed that she was off work. A few hours later (several days after the return agreement) the check I gave them cashed. I called the office and was answered by Alex. I informed her my check had been cashed and that I wanted to speak to a manager. She told me " we close in 5 minutes so you probably won't hear from anyone" when I told her it was urgent and that they hadn't fulfilled their end of the deal , she rudely replied with " I understand but we are closing in 5 minutes so you won't be called" I am a first responder and have gone out of my way to help others through the pandemic, I don't ask for more than a business being professional and reasonable, I received neither from here. I won't be referring this establishment to anyone I know. In fact, I'll be making it a point to deter people away . Jason J.... I just thought I would write a review on this company. They are great! I dealt with Diane and she was the best. She answered all my questions I felt like I was working with a good friend this girl has such a great personality she had me laughing which is a nice change from all the other stores I went to where the salespeople were all over me not fun. She told me about the wait on getting a spa she was straight up I would rather have the truth upfront than a untruth. So I bought my spa and I have to wait to get my spa for a while what are you going to do covid sucks for us all. I got a great deal though! I met most of the people working there they were all cool. I like the fact they have been in business for like 20 years so they aren't going anywhere. DIane has been calling and updating me on what's happening. There was a guy working with Diane I think his name was Jeff. This guy was getting me water anything I needed and we hit it off he was making me laugh cool dude. I was so happy with it through the years that, when I moved to San Diego, I decided to inquire to see if they were able to customize a new fire table and bbq island for me. I was so happy to learn they cover San Diego and I couldn't be more pleased with the finished product. It looks AMAZING! I wanted to do something a bit different from the "norm" by tiling the sides of the island instead of just the top. Jason went above and beyond to ensure I was thrilled with the final result. There's a reason why they've been in business for as long as they have been - they are impeccable and provide top-notch customer service. I was also able to customize the fire table to match my bbq island. To continue my customization idea, I requested LED lights installed above the backsplash (since I didn't want bar seating). It's my understanding this was one of the first times they installed the lights as I requested. Let me tell you, they are so cool and bright! You can change the colors and set them to flash, strobe or stay constant. Talk about an awesome party feature! So happy and I highly recommend! read more

I was planning to purchase here but got a very strange vibe from my salesperson. I found it very difficult to get information regarding pricing and availability and he kept making it sound like he was throwing in things but later found out they were manufacturer promotions due to expire that week. We communicated via text and I asked for quotes, did not receive any, but was told if I didn't purchase that day by 3pm that I would lose out on the promotion. When I told him I was not purchasing today he literally said "great! I'll take your payment by 3pm and get the paperwork started". I reiterated that I would not be ready to buy until I got the info I needed and he literally sent me "lol". Just bizarre! Loved the Spa and BBQ options and the in store floor room is great. We found what we were looking for with salesman Ron O Farrell, who was extremely friendly and accommodating. The entire in store process was convenient and simple. The only aspect to be aware of is that the install and delivery dates are months delayed. It took us about 4 months to get the BBQ island and another 6 months to get the Spa. The wait right now may even be longer than that, however Ron was very communicative and responsive any time I reached out for any updates. We were looking for a new Barbque Island to house our existing Bull Barbecue. After visiting other retailers and being shown what was available that might fit our needs we were fortunate to visit Valley Hot Spring Spas & BBQ Islands. We explained what we needed to Jeff and he sat down with us and designed a custom Island to our exact specifications. The lead time was no longer than the leadtime that other retailers had quoted and the cost was equal to the standard islands that we had seen. When the Isalnd was delivered the Bull Barbecue fit perfectly.
