Majestic Pool Construction could really benefit from improving their costumer service. We met with Rob Dominguez, their principle designer, in order to design a pool that fit our space and family needs. We were brand new to the pool design process, and as a result, had to have more than one session to figure out what we really wanted for our pool. Initially, Rob was enthusiastic to meet with, but did not seem to appreciate we wanted to make design changes, and did not follow up with changes . This was really surprising to us, since our project was not going to be basic, and was easily over 6 figures. Working with this company was a waste of time. Overall, we are so happy we did NOT work with this company. If this is the attitude at selling, I can't imagine what they would be like during the project phase. So thrilled we went with Majestic pools. Promises made , Promises kept! We had a 2 year journey to determine who we wanted to build our pool. We met with four companies. The price was very fair and the owner Obie earned our trust through all our interactions with him. He was a pleasure to collaborate with and we never felt nickel or dimed when asking for small changes as he included small modifications during the planning phase. When we did ask for major additions like extra concrete we were charged a fair price. We were assigned project manager, Noah who was an awesome communicator and always worked well with our schedule. He called us every evening and told us what would be happening the next day! Our pool was started 1/6/2025 and water was added and completed by 2/15/2025. They even had 19 other pools going in different stages at the same time. Most every trade works for them which made things so much better. They were all so considerate when working in our yard. Cleaning up well after each day. I can't say enough about Majestic total team. You should give them a chance to at least meet with them. read more

We were very excited to get our pool re-plastered. We are now very disappointed in the results. The pool has white patches and white streaks all around the pool and spa. it also feels like stand paper, which makes it very uncomfortable when sitting in the spa. we were told it was our fault for not sweeping it enough. we were also told it was molting which we were warned about. I know the difference and yes there is molting around the sides and I actually like the look but not the large white patches. When it was finished we were told to sweep the pool three times a day and have our regular pool guy to begin maintenance. My pool guy said that was odd because when new plaster is installed, the installer normally maintains the pool for a month. They installed a new pool next door at the same time and were there almost everyday for a week maintaining their pool but not ours. After complaining, I was told they could come back and do a acid wash to fix the issue, which they have never done. I've tried contacting them to see when they would do it with no response. read more

We had our pool built by Obie and his amazing team in August 2015, and I simply can't say enough positive things. Here is why you should not look any further than Obie and Majestic Pool Construction if you're looking to transform your backyard into a paradise: 1) Obie hires the best people--both employees and subcontractors. Most notably, his "rock guy" Jacob from RIP (Rockscapes in Paradise) is an artistic rock genius. He somehow took the picture that was in my head that 7 other pool builders told me was impossible, and sketched it out in less than 5 minutes. A couple months later, it was a reality. 2) Obie is as honest as the day is long. Nowadays, it's very difficult to find a contractor that you know you can trust. Obie is that guy. 3) If anything goes wrong at all during the process, which is fairly typical for any large scale job, you can be assured that Obie will jump through hoops to make it right. It's no exaggeration to say I've never seen Obie's level of customer service out of a contractor or company. 4) Obie knows what his expertise is, and allows his team to do their jobs using their specialty skills. He manages the process beautifully. He regularly checked in on the progress and made sure it was turning into what we were expecting. He takes responsibility for his team and never passes the buck. Now, he continues to check in on us and the pool even 9 months after the fact. If I ever have any question about anything (i.e. I had to clean my salt cell the other day), Obie gets back to me almost immediately. 5) Last but not least, the work is top notch and the pricing was incredibly fair. We went around to see some of Obie's previous jobs, and it was the quality of his work that made us go with him. On top of that, his prices came in below what a lot of the other guys were quoting for much simpler designs. Obie wasn't the cheapest, but he was easily the BEST VALUE. Bottom line, I am definitely a high maintenance customer (really, kind of a pain), but Obie worked with me to make our dream backyard exactly what we had hoped for. Update: wow, I didn't realize I had never updated this review. It's all the way down from a 5 star to a 1 star. Shortly after the pool was built, we had all kinds of issues. The pebble. Started falling apart. The piping wasn't done correctly. The equipment wasn't properly spec'd. The pool had to be drained and re-pebbled, and then it fell apart again, so they had to drain and re-pebble it AGAIN. It was still horrible the 3rd time, but we just lived with it. Obie is a nice guy during the sales process, but turns out to be hostile when things start to go wrong. There are better companies out there. Don't go with these guys. read more

Obie was a great person to work with, honest, and personable. He was willing to work within my budget to create the backyard of my dreams. From the beginning he let me know that he was not a big company so it would take some time to complete. Which it did, but he did everything that was promised. There were a couple "emergency" issues and he was there on site and in person, after hours to ensure the matter was under control. The little "non-emergency" items took a little longer to get completed, but in the end everything was completed to our satisfaction as promised. I will always recommend to anyone building a pool. We just recently had our entire backyard done by Majestic Pool Construction and it came out STUNNING! Obie and his crew are just amazing. He took our vision, made it 10x more spectacular with faux rock and a grotto waterfall as well as a bar and patio cover! We received about 5 other bids and went with Majestic because of his demeanor, friendliness, honesty and very fair pricing. We got our whole thing done on time as well. I really am amazed at the quality of communication and response time. Often when dealing with contractors, it takes at least two days for answer, most of the time he responded within an hour. Obie sent out guys to fill in our trenches we had going through the yard, so that I would not have to do it myself. From taking down a fountain and putting it back up. The workmanship is so perfect and beautiful. We finished the pool last summer, but found getting into the spa was too difficult for my parents, Obie and his crew came out and added a step inside the spa. The owner of the company Obi came to our hm on may 12th and was very nice drew a rough draft on paper while in my backyard as we were done he said he would contact us on the 15 with a quote well let's fast forward now to the 26th no quote!! I email the office and the response I get back is that they are overbooked and that if we still want a pool in October to contact them !!! I proceeded to ask why they had not reached out to us to at least let us know ? His response was I don't see the point !!! Majestic just finished our pool and overall we are very satisfied. The pool, retaining walls, BBQ and concrete work are outstanding. The only reason I'm giving a 4 star rating opposed to 5 is based on lack of communication between contractor and homeowner. We were told several times throughout the project that someone would be out and then there would be a no show for days with no communication from the contractor. We used Majestic based on a friend who had used them years ago who did not have any communication problems which tells me Majestic is just getting too busy...which is fine, but you've got to keep good open lines of communication between contractor and homeowner if the project is going to run a month later than expected. Again, the project came out BEAUTIFUL and compared to other people's reviews of different contractors and bad experiences, I certainly have no room to complain and I would still choose Majestic again read more

We started this project in October 2016, I still have concrete he said he was going to fix that he has not. I have tiles that they put in that were broken. I had asked him to make sure that joint seems in the concrete lined up with those in the existing patio area, he didn't take any of my concerns into consideration. The "design" he showed us to begin with does not match what they built, several things had to be changed throughout the process because they were not as we requested. Some things they refused to change because it would cost too much to fix. As you can see in the photos I was disappointed with the workmanship, the mess they made, the damage they did to my neighbors front lawn, as well as the employees smoking in my backyard. Then they didn't reinforce the concrete they poured so it already has a huge crack that is not like a typical hairline crack that one would expect from concrete. If it ever gets finished/fixed I'd be happy to change my review. read more
